Izaak;

Please meet me at home, as soon as possible. I have something important to talk to you about.

Love,
Alexis.

After writing her letter to Izaak an anxious grin strode onto her lips as she sent her owl to her love. She walked over to her kitchen counter and hopped up onto it lazily, once more her mind was swept away with thoughts of Izaak Finch. She was still amazed that after so much time she was in love with him and he her, but now she was moving to Oceania. Where she didn't exactly know but she thought Australia would be better, considering the beautiful beaches and well one special person that lived there. But of course she would be attending Hogwarts New Zealand and it made much more sense to live in New Zealand.

Alexis felt that she needed Izaak's opinion on her move but also had a rather important question for him. She wanted to see if he wanted to join her in the move. She of course would understand if he wanted to live with Leah and little Jay still, she just thought that it would be a good way to stay closer to each other when they were out of school. While waiting for Izaak she looked around her kitchen with an inscrutable expression on her face.

bleh lame

Izaak Finch sunk back into his couch and crossed his long legs on top an age-old coffee table that he and his sister had dragged home from a garage sale, marred with rings from beverages and other unknown stains. An amused laugh rose up from his stomach as he watched Leah wrestle with her five year old son, attempting to dress him for the day, when all Jay really wanted to do was stay in his pyjamas. Morning routines were more or less the same each day; Leah nagging, Jay arguing, Izaak laughing at the repetitiveness of it all.

But this morning their routine was somewhat disrupted as an elegant owl glided in through the open window, winged on the sea breeze. It features struck Izaak as familiar, yet it wasn’t until he saw the handwriting scripted on the letter that he realised who it was from. Leah Finch focused her attention on her younger brother as opposed to her son, her azure eyes narrowing ever so slightly as she tried to decipher who the letter was from as he mauled over it. But as soon as she had seen the goofy grin stretch right along the length of his lips, Leah knew exactly who had sent it and gave Izaak a warm smile despite the fact that he was too busy to catch it.

Without warning the nineteen year old leapt off the couch and tried to smoulder the excited expression plastered to his face but failed hopelessly. “Smooth Izaak, smooth.” Leah taunted with a grin but Izaak ignored his sister’s jousting and leant down to kiss her cheek quickly. “Gotta go, I’ll be back later, alright?” The last part of his question had been directed at Jay as he raked his hand through his nephew’s blonde head of hair. The little boy nodded and grinned toothily, Leah simply shook her head with a knowing smile. “Have fun.” She smiled in the instant before a loud crack resounded through the cosy, beachside home and just like that Izaak was gone.

With another crack, Izaak landed on the doorstep of his girlfriend’s London home with a beaming grin on his lips. He reached out and rapped his knuckles across the door. And as he waited, curiosity began to overwhelm him, wondering what might be so important that Alexis had to tell him right now.
