Mirim had not much business in the park, she was just sitting at the bottom of one of the playground slides, sliding her skateboard around lazily with her foot as she stared at a bush of flowers. She had earbuds in, drowning out the sound of younger children dashing around the area. None seemed too interested in playing on the slides, otherwise, she would've tried to scare them (or join them). The bush of flowers she was watching had a few butterflies and bees around them.

Mirim continued to stare at the butterflies till she noticed something on the ground. She stands up from her spot and walks towards the bush, scaring away most of the bugs that surrounded it.

Parker was tired of new world, he wanted to get home and closest thing to that was park. It was something common in everyworld, so headed back to here and just simply sat on the bench. He was bored of lack of the work, so he tried to get out of this world with looking at his drum stick while spinning it. Then his attention was caught by someone moving bushes. "UH, what are you doing?" it must be more interesting than spinning drum sticks.

Mirim crouched down and gently picked up the thing she noticed when she heard a voice from behind her. She turned around, “The butterfly is dieing!” She almost sobbed. Mirim wasn’t crying but she was definitely, definitely, distraught.

The butterfly in question was a monarch, and it had a ripped wing. It seemed like it was on the verge of dying. Mirim had lots of experience with butterflies and bugs, especially after spending a large amount of time on her uncle’s ranch when her parents were busy.

Parker weirdly looked at butterfly. "Shoot.. What can we do? Does butterfly need any medical help or anything?" he didn't know what to do and he was even more scared when he heard that girl was close to sobbing. Surgeries was the first thing that crossed his mind, he was extremely stressed.

"Uh, maybe we can move it to some place where it will be easier to see and understand what happened to her?" he offered while showing to the bench where he was sitting. "Maybe it can live without wing? Uh, like human without leg or arm." it was easy to understand that he didn't know what to do. He wasn't the biggest fan of butterflies.

Mirim started to hyperventilate, she hated seeing death. It was just, not something that Mirim easily dealt with. But something she didn’t like more was that she was basically breaking down in front of a stranger. Mirim took a deep breath and tried her best to calm down as she sat down on the bench that the boy offered. “This is- This is ok, I can look at it from here.”

Mirim took a closer look, her eyes a bit red and her breath still unsteady. But she tried her best to study the butterfly. “Ok, ok. Uhm. We- I think” She paused to take another breath “I think it was attacked... maybe by a bird.” Her voice was more steady. “Butterflies could live without wings, but this one’s going to die.” The monarch fluttered it’s wings quickly, very quickly. “It’s a sign of dying.” She said as she pointed at it.
