Closed Playing For A Crowd

Eugene had been very happy to be in contact with his friends/band mates and had organised them playing a little. He'd organised it for them to meet in Obsidian, he wasn't sure they'd get much money from music here but it was the easiest place for them to all meet and he would be a bit nervous to bring his friends home to Auckland, he shared a small apartment with his cousin and though he didn't mind where he lived after Hogwarts and sharing a room he didn't want his friends to feel bad for him. He had brought his guitar and a few other bits and pieces and was setting it up. He had scribbled the Sweet As Badgers on a piece of paper and placed it in front so people would know who they are. Eugene just focused on getting his instrument tuned. The other boys would be here soon and they'd be able to get to playing. ​

Manaia had always wanted to play in a band, and the fact that he had found such cool mates to play with so quickly at Hogwarts was a dream come true. So he had been quick to agree when Eugene organised for them to play together in the holidays, getting his mum to take him and his guitar into Obsidian. Marama needed some new clothes anyway, so Mum had agreed to go shopping with Marama while Manaia was playing with his friends. He raised a hand in greeting when he spotted Eugene and hurried over, guitar case bouncing cheerfully on his back. "Hey, mate!" He said brightly, grasping one of Eugene's hands and moving in to clap him on the back quickly before releasing him. "It's been ages, are you having a good holiday?" He asked, setting his case down and beginning to unpack his guitar as he spoke.

Nolan had straight-up said yes when Eugene had organised them to meet up and play together in Obsidian Harbour. When he had told his parents about the meetup, his mother had thought it would've been a great opportunity for her to take his sister Molly for some shopping for some school supplies, which honestly Nolan wasn't happy about since he had his sister and mother come with him. But thankfully they weren't going to be there because he knew that his sister would embarrass him.

When the boy had arrived with his sister and mother, he was keeping an eye out for his friends. It didn't take that long to spot them and told his mother and sister that he found them. He had heard his sister say "Bye Nollie" really loudly as he was making his way to his friends, waving with one hand and his bass guitar case in the other hand, hoping that no one had heard his sister call him that. "Hey dudes! How've your breaks been so far?" Nolan says with a small smile.

Eugene smiled at Manaia as he appeared and greeted him as he did. "It's been good bro, I missed my recording equipment a BUNCH," he told him with a wide smile, he wouldn't mention that he'd been a bit bored, that his cousin had been working a lot so he was a bit lonely. None of that was important currently, he was going to be playing with his friends and that was so exciting and fun. He then spotted Nolan and waved excitedly to the boy. He was sure he had spotted Nolan family behind him but opted to not say anything about it. "It's been good so far, but I'm very excited to play boys," he said. He was mostly ready just by the proxy of having arrived first. But he knew the other two would be ready in a short moment and they could get started. ​
