Open Pink Sunrise

Theia had signed up for the rose deliveries for two reasons. Firstly, to help out with what she had heard from older students was a huge event around Valentine’s day, and secondly, to become more familiar with students outside of her year and places she was yet to visit around the castle. So as soon as she had the bucket of roses allotted to her, Theia headed to the entrance hall, thinking she could catch a recipient or two before they headed into the great hall for breakfast. “Maggy Harrington!! Is there a Maggy Harrington here?” Theia called out, holding the pink rose for the girl in her hand, and feeling a little uncomfortable drawing attention to herself, but understanding it was necessary.​

Maggy was excited Valentine's Day was coming up this year. Finally she had someone who she liked and liked her. And she was hoping to find a good moment to ask Acacia to the even the school put on but hadn't found a moment where it was just the two of them and also where the words happened to come out. She had managed to get a Teddy Bear into the dorm for Acacia without the other girl noticing thus far. On her way out of the Great Hall to go to class she was surprised by someone calling her name. "Here! I'm here," she said rising her arm slightly above her head so the girl calling her name could spot her.

Theia sighed, relieved when an older girl responded, confirming she was the Maggy she was looking for. She walked over to the girl with a polite smile. “I have a rose for you.” Theia announced, offering the pink flower to Maggy, and making sure the note was with it. This was the first delivery of what Theia assumed would be a long day and she did not want to make any mistakes.​

Maggy wasn't super surprised to see a pink rose coming out of the bucket for her, but it made her very excited. She read the note instantly happy to see Acacia's handwriting. It made her smile a bunch and she hoped later in the day she'd be able to give Acacia the teddy bear. "Thanks a bunch! I hope you have fun handing out the flowers today," she said with a wave before turning to continue on her way reading the note once again.
