It had been Eloise's first time delivering roses, and Eloise had been excited to deliver them. Eloise was wearing her rose and Valentine letter earrings, which she thought had suited the occasion. She needed to be on theme with the event, of course! She picked up a rose to deliver first, and she grinned happily when she noticed who it was, but then gasped excitedly when she noticed the colour it had been. Eloise giddily made her way to the Gryffindor house table, grinning more when she had spotted her brother, before quickly taking a seat next to her brother, not caring if someone was supposed to sit there. "Miles! Guess what! I have a rose for you! You wanna guess the colour?"

Miles was just minding his own business at the Gryffindor table, trying to ignore all the rose deliveries going on around him. He'd managed to get through his own deliveries already, had somehow managed to avoid getting any roses thrust in his own face. Because he didn't mind helping out with the event, but it was actually just embarrassing to receive a rose. Eloise had managed to catch him off guard, smiling as she sat down and not expecting anything until she made the sudden announcement she had a rose for him. Immediately, his shoulders almost deflated, but he tried to put on a smile all the same as he shrugged. "Oh, I, um, I wouldn't know."
