Lucy couldn't help being quietly amused to have gotten both Hufflepuff co-captains on her delivery list this year, and after finding Marley she decided to make Bailey her next delivery, as something felt right about keeping them together. Outdoors felt like a good place to look, and if nothing else a good way to enjoy the summer sun. So it was a pleasant surprise when she spotted Bailey almost right away, hurrying to catch up to the older girl. "Bailey! I've got a delivery for you!" She said brightly, bouncing across the lawn.

Bailey was minding her own business walking across the grounds when she heard a younger voice calling her name. She turned to see Lucy Holland approaching her telling her she had a delivery for her. "For me? Really?"

"Yeah!" Lucy said brightly, rummaging through her basket as she reached Bailey. "It's a special one too!" She withdrew the pink rose and its note, handing them over to the older girl with a broad grin. "Happy Valentines day!"

one date.

-you know who i am

Bailey smiled at the younger girl and took the rose and note, wondering who it could be from. Her face fell when she read the note, it wasn't signed with a name but the sender was correct, she knew exactly who it was from. "Thanks Lucy, unfortunately its not from anyone I'd like it to be from,"

Lucy was always thrilled to deliver special pink and red roses, so Bailey's reaction stunned her for a moment. "Oh no!" She said sympathetically, fighting the urge to try and peek at the note. "Were they being a jerk? Do we need to go find them?" Lucy didn't know Bailey all that well, but if someone needed some harassment avenged, she knew she'd be in without a second thought.

Bailey chewed on her bottom lip as she thought about how best to explain Theo to the younger student. "It's a boy he's erm, persistent you know?" It was the safest way to describe him, even if it might make him sound more...potentially harmful. Theo was pretty harmless, she just had no interest in what he had to offer.

Lucy's face twisted in consternation, though she couldn't entirely relate. It felt like she was always the one chasing after other people, and she couldn't help thinking it must be nice having someone chase after you instead. "Well if you ever need a bodyguard just say the word." She grinned and flexed, beater biceps stretching the puffy sleeves of her dress. "I've got a bat, and I know how to use it."

Bailey laughed at Lucy's offer to be her bodyguard, more on her threat to use her bat on Theo which she had to admit she would like to see. "Honestly you could take him, and I'd pay to see you do so, but maybe not just yet,"

Lucy grinned, returning her hand to the handle of her basket. "Well, just say the word." She said cheerfully. "I'm on call for all boy-bludgeoning needs."
