🌹 Rose Giving Pink For a Zephyr

Lilith wasn't exactly sure what to expect when she'd gotten none other but Ares Zephyr to deliver a rose to. She knew of the boy, both having noticed him at the sorting ceremony and from the Potion club when Freddie had been slightly agitated by him. "Ares?" She asked the boy, she knew it was him but best be sure.

As Ares glanced over his shoulder, a smirk appeared on his face as one of Freddie's protectors came over to him. He glanced at the rose in her hand, a pink one? Didn't a pink one mean like, crush or something? His smirk faltered only for a moment before he was looking back at Lilith, "Got something for me?" he offered out his hand.

Lilith looked at the boy with a small smile before extending the pink rose with it's note to the boy. "Yeah this one's for you!" She told him, though she wasn't sure what to make of his reaction.

As Ares took the note, it opened it up to see it was from Marina. Of all people he expected to have a crush on him, he supposed it would be the Ravenclaw. They'd been to the dance together twice now, and perhaps she was one of the only people that didn't treat him like he was an idiot. "It's from my girlfriend," Ares told Lilith, hoping that the girl would think more highly of him if he had one of those. That was right, he didn't just have friends. He had girls that wanted to be his girlfriend. In truth, Ares didn't really care about romance, it was one of those things that his parents did, or his older sisters. For him though, girls were just another group of people he could joke with. "Cheers Lilith," he gave the older girl an over the top smile, name dropping her before turning back to his food.

Lilith wasn't sure when to leave whenever she gave roses, it felt odd to just hover around and watch the people open their notes but it felt rude to just turn around and leave too. So against her better judgement the third year stood there as Ares opened his note and old her it was from his girlfriend. She merely nodded. "Alright, have a good rest of your day then!" She told the boy, figuring that maybe he'd found out her name from Demi for all she knew. Lilith then walked away to continue on her merry way.
