So, my character has a pet rat who he got long before he even heard of Hogwarts. I'm wondering; do I have to go and buy a pet rat to be allowed to continue RPing this rat in school, or am I allowed to just say Kyle brought a pre-existing pet with him. Silly question, I know, but I'm confused XD

This has always been one of the finer flaws in how we do the inventory system on here... you've found us out already.
Since RPing a sale, establishing that your character has met another character, then RPing having a pet from before and never acutally making that sale makes no sense it should be fine RPing having brought a long time pet.
Just PM Cecily to have it added to your character's vault.
