Everything seemed to be almost perfect for Bryce Chamberlin right now. Though his father died a year ago, his family was still as close as ever, and his seer training was working marvelously. He also had his best friend over at his house for a few weeks. Bryce looked up while he was in his room to see that there was an owl from the school. It was from Headmistress Ava Davershire. It was for both him and Rosie. The envelope felt heavy. He opened the envelope and he dumped out the contents. There were two letters, and a Head Girl badge. He knew who that was for. His best friend made Head Girl! He thought that she would! Bryce felt like he was on top of the world! He was the first to know! He set them to the side, and he hurried to get into the shower before any of the girls did. He felt weird being the only boy here. He had to have a shower first! He went into the bathroom, removed all of his clothing. He jumped into his shower and turned it on. He liked it, a lot. He loved hot showers since it helped him relax and wake up in the morning.

Steam rose from the shower, and Bryce had no idea that someone entered the bathroom as well, and started to get ready for the day. Seeing as Bryce couldn't hear, he had no idea. He washed the shampoo out of his hair, and he turned off the shower once the rest of his body was rinsed. He leaned against the wall of the shower as he reached and got his towel from the top of the door. He dried off his face and he wrapped the towel around his waist. He stepped out of the shower, turned to the mirror and saw Rosie. Bryce's eyes widened, and tried to back away while flushing a bright red. He managed to slip in a small puddle and he fell right on his back. Somehow, the towel stayed around his important parts. He let out a groan, and he was super embarrassed. From down on the floor with his eyes closed, he said after choosing his words carefully, "Um, hi, you made Head Girl." That was all he could manage to say. He opened his eyes and didn't want to get up and risk the towel falling off.
