[Juneau Delarue]

Juneau had arrived for the match against Hogwarts and had been told there were refreshments in the Great Hall. She hadn't been here before and wasn't sure on the way. She followed a long corridor to the end, only to realise she’d gone the wrong way. With a quiet sigh, she turned back and walked back to where she started. Back at the entrance, shd looked around for where to go.

Ivy was excited. Gryffindor had just won the last quiditch match once again making them the school champions and now they had a second chance at playing against beauxbatton. the game was coming up and the french students had just arrived. While she didnt need to be there she wanted to meet them. after all these people pribably loved quidditch as much as her. and just because they would soon be opponents on the pitch didnt mean she couldnt be nice to them. She was just walking back in when she saw one of the girls walk up a corridor that everyone knew went to a dead end. Well, everyone knew it housed a secret passage to the third floor. but that was a secret after all. She crossed the girl as she was walking back out. "Hello. are you okay?" she asked. wondering if she was trying to find a bathroom or something.

Juneau looked a little startled at the girl in front of her speaking to her in English. She nodded politely, not sure what she was asking, but hopefully would be able to help. "Bonjour-" her French accent thick as she searched for the right words to say in English. “I look for…” She frowned thoughtfully then mimed eating, lifting her hands to her mouth. “Manger?” she said, hopeful that the girl would understand.

Manger = eat

Ivy had never studied french. she knew bonjour. Because didnt everyone know that was hello in French, but that was about as far as her French went. well that and a nursry rhyme about a sleepy monk though that was mostly learned phonetically. she didnt really know what it meant if she didnt know what it meant,
when the girl spoke again it took her a second to tell what she was saying both because of her strong accent and the the use of foreign words. "manger? Manager," she asked, trying to copy the girls as she gestured before it clicked with the gestures. Manager must be 'food?" she said, "you'll want the great hall. That's this way," Che said cheerily, pointing back down the corridor. "I'm Ivy, by the way. I play chaser for the Gryffindor team, so I will be seeing you on the pitch." She chatted as she led the way towards the great hall.[/B]

Juneau eyes brightened as the girl appeared to understand that she wanted to eat. Juneau understood she was a chaser as well, and that Gryffindor were the team they were playing against. She happily followed the friendly girl who she thought was called Ivy, "My name is Juneau." Her French accent was thick as she expelled her limited English, "Also Chaser."
