Open for any seventh years except Kauri Tipene because he would tattle

Phoebe had decided she needed to do something big for the final week at Hogwarts. Soon they would all be taking their NEWTs, and then they would be on their way. Over the years, Phoebe didn't feel like she had really gotten to know many of her classmates. This seemed like a good time to remedy that. She had sent every single seventh year an invitation, with one exception. The party was at the cliffs and involved fireworks, and she just knew that the Head Boy wouldn't be able to learn that information without telling a teacher. Phoebe had a feeling the teachers would turn a blind eye to whatever the seventh years got up to in their final days of school, but it would be difficult to do so if someone literally pointed it out to them. The fact that Rose had been very torn up about their breakup made Phoebe feel a little better about the decision. It wasn't like she had to like Kauri anymore.

Phoebe had gathered some blankets and snacks and had scattered both around on the grass. The boxes of fireworks she had purchased at Gambol & Jape's were standing at a small distance from the rest. The plan was to all gather together as the sun went down, chat and have fun, and then when it became dark Phoebe would set off the fireworks. She had wanted to bring Charlie to this, but in the end had decided to invite only seventh years. It was with these people that she would soon graduate, so even though she wasn't particularly close to some of them, she wanted them all to share this experience together.

They had not gotten along very well during their years at the castle together so Tomas thought it very odd that he too had received an invitation to Phoebe's party down at the cliffs. Perhaps she finally realised that this stupid rivalry they had going on was, well, stupid. He could only hope so because he didn't want to hear how dumb and unintelligent he was throughout the night. Tomas noticed that he was one of the first ones to arrive as he approached the cliffs, and smirked as he walked over towards Phoebe. ''Quite the party you've got going on here,'' he teased. ''This won't get us into trouble, will it?'' He didn't think it would, at least Tomas didn't think that Phoebe was the type of person to want to get into trouble much, not after that potion accident.

Alistair didn't care much for large social events outside of his own club gatherings, which alone were a headache, but Phoebe had been a supportive friend during the stress of the past year when he had needed someone the most, so he decided attending her get-together was the least he could do in return. And how kind of her not to schedule it on a full moon. The lycanthrope made his way toward the cliffs, which after seven years at Hogwarts had somehow remained one of the few locations he hadn't gone to before, even for a quiet moment alone. He had expected more than just Phoebe and Tomas so far, and he politely greeted them both. He couldn't help but overhear Wode's concern over getting into trouble, and had to wonder how much it mattered now that they were so close to graduating. That in itself was a whole other problem he didn't want to think about. It was strange to think back on how much he'd looked forward to graduation. Now that it was around the corner, it suddenly couldn't have been more daunting.

Caro wasn't planning on throwing a party at the end of this year, and that was fine. She was fine with it. A younger, less mature version of Caro might have insisted that the parties at the Taylor Lodge had been her parties just as much as they had been Lizzie's, but at this point, Caro just didn't care. Lizzie had won at Hogwarts, just like she won at everything else. Everyone loved her the most, forever, and nobody would have come to Caro's party. Besides, throwing a party meant sticking around in this horrible country, and Caro could absolutely not be bothered with that a second longer than she had to. She was going to get her diploma and she would be gone, hopefully for good. No time to stick around and throw a party.

So she totally wasn't bitter at all that Phoebe of all people was throwing a party for their graduating class. It was totally cool, whatever. This way Caro wouldn't have to mess about with cleanup or whatever. Whatever. It was fine. Caro had made sure she looked immaculate as she made her way up to the cliffs, quietly thinking this seemed like a stupid place for a party. But if this was going to be one of the last social events she would ever do with her classmates, Caro was going to do it looking gorgeous. She felt both disappointed and vindicated when she made it to the cliffs and the party was dead. Just Phoebe and a couple of boys, nothing going on at all. This couldn't be funnier. At least her parties had been well attended. She gave a bright fake smile as she joined the group, waving to Phoebe. "Hey Phoebe, thanks for throwing this!" Caro said cheerfully, before glancing towards the boys. Since Caro was never planning on ever seeing any of these people again after graduation, she didn't see anything wrong with maybe getting a little flirty today. Sidling over to Alistair, she gave her housemate a cheeky grin. "So, you planning to get wild at the party tonight? Unleash the beast, so to speak?" Caro grinned, winking at Alistair.

At first glance, Phoebe was glad that someone was here at her party. At least she wasn't just hanging out at the cliff by herself with some fireworks. Though... that also sounded like it could be fun. But then she saw it was Tomas, and she sighed. She had declared him her enemy in their first year, though that did seem a little silly now. Still, that didn't mean she had to like him. She crossed her arms. "Well... you being the first person here doesn't promise much good." She said, though her heart wasn't in it. She laughed at his next words. "What are they going to do, give us detention after the graduation ceremony?" She asked, one eyebrow raised. The next person who arrived was Alistair, and Phoebe waved at him in greeting. She considered him a friend now, despite the fact that he kept beating her in duels. She wondered if he would want to do practice duels after they graduated, that would be fun. Caro Taylor arrived next, talking to Phoebe overly cheerfully despite the fact that they had never really talked before. But Phoebe simply nodded in greeting. Her composure slipped the moment the girl opened her mouth, though, as she the line she said to Alistair was so ridiculous that Phoebe couldn't help a snort of laughter. "Merlin, did you really just say that to him?" She asked with a laugh.
