Alexa had spent the past few days alone, wandering around the castle when she didn't have a lesson. It was great and all, being here at Hogwarts, but there's one subject she hadn't really covered yet: making friends. Back at home she'd make friends within the first day of school, but here things were different. Hogwarts was far bigger than the small school she used to go to and a bigger school meant more people. However she had no doubt about the fact that she would soon have some friends and find her place.
Today she decided to walk around the school grounds for a bit, breathe in some fresh air. Alexa walked into the Courtyard, looking around. There weren't many students out here so she decided to find herself a nice place to sit. She settled down on one of the benches and made herself comfortable. It wasn't really warm outside, but Alexa still enjoyed the bit of sunlight on her face.
Not really caring about the fact that there were others around Alexa closed her eyes for a bit. She started thinking about the stories her dad used to tell her about Hogwarts and the adventures he had. She was hoping to have almost as many adventures as he used to have, so when she got home in the holiday she would be the one to tell stories. Although a story with only one character in them isn't that interesting. It was this moment that Alexa decided she couldn't just expect people to come up to her, talk and become her friend. She needed to go up to people and talk to them, get to know them. That's how you make friends isn't it? She didn't really know how, but she knew she was going to try her best at getting some friends at this school.
