Anisha wasn't sure how she had ended up in St. Mungo's, but here she was. It all felt a bit like an overreaction, but at the same time, the big gash in her arm was refusing to heal with all the normal healing spells, and that was pretty bad. After Hogwarts, Anisha had known she wanted to duel and compete professionally as a duellist. She was good, she knew she was, and she was confident she would be able to do well. But after graduating, she quickly realized how competitive the world of professional duelling was, and how hard it was to get your foot in the door. After being rejected from a few tournaments for not having enough experience, Anisha had asked some advice. That was how she had gotten into the slightly less officially organized dueling tournament, held in some abandoned warehouse where anyone could join and rules seemed to be optional. It had seemed exciting at first, and also like a good way to get some experience and start making a name for herself. But Anisha had quickly realized a lot of the participants were using spells that she didn't know and were probably something they invented themselves. And that was how she ended up with a wound that wouldn't heal and kept oozing a greenish liquid. After attempting to heal it herself, she had swallowed her pride and headed over to St. Mungo's. Normally, Anisha would have gone right away. But there was one big reason she had for avoiding the hospital. The door opened, and Anisha let out a groan as that one reason walked through the door. She had hoped her sister would be too busy with other patients to notice she was here. "Hi, Indi." She said sheepishly.

Indi wasn't exactly the sentimental type so she would never say out loud that St. Mugo's had become a second home to her, but considering how much time she spent here it was true all the same. Her main focus at the hospital were patients with chronic issue that magic didn't have a way to cure...yet. She was working on it but the process was slow, very slow. But every now and then she'd be called to work the emergency room which she was more than capable of handling. She had just finished patching up someone who got on the bad side of a hippogryff and was filling out paper work when she heard someone mention a patient with a very familiar name. Her heart froze in her chest for a moment before the rational part of her brain could kick in. No one was rushing around or shouting for a healer so it couldn't be too serious. In that case, her mood soured and a deep frown found its way across her face. In one swift motion she put her paperwork aside and stomped over to the room the nurse had left from. She stopped for just a moment to confirm the patient's name before bursting through the door. "What happened?" Indi asked bluntly, not bothering with any greeting.

Anisha sat up in the hospital bed, grimacing at the sight of her sister's angry expression. She knew Indi would think she was irresponsible when she heard what happened, but did she have to look at her that way already even before knowing how she ended up here? It was almost like her sister knew her and knew her well enough to know she had probably done something dumb. It was a little frustrating, even if it was also reassuring. A healer had looked at her arm already, but not knowing how to fix it immediately, had put her up in this room to wait for someone to start examining and treating it properly. Experimental magic was no joke. Her arm had been quickly wrapped up, but the green ooze was coming through the bandage slowly. Anisha shifted a bit in an attempt to block her arm from Indi's view. "Just a duelling accident, it'll be fine," she said quickly. "This isn't your usual ward, is it?" She guessed someone had told her sister, or maybe she just had a sixth sense for Anisha's idiotic tendencies. Or she was wrong, and this was her sister's ward.

Indi swore as Anisha said it was a dueling accident. She shouldn't have been surprised that was what sent her sister to the hospital but it still made her stomach do a sickening flip. She knew what her sister was up to and she could hardly act scandalized. She had done her fair share of dueling in school and even there students tried to blow each other up. It made sense that the professional world was just as dangerous, she just didn't like thinking about it. That was what she told her mom to do when she had come to Indi about Anisha's chosen career path. Personally she thought Anisha was smart enough and should aim higher with her career aspirations but it was what she wanted to do so she would be on her side. But despite all that she couldn't stop the waves of disapproval that radiated off of her as she went to take a look under the bandages. "Merlin!" she swore again as she saw the green oozing wound for herself. "What kind of spell did that?!" she exclaimed and put her hands on her hips. "And it doesn't matter what ward I'm usually in. If you're here, I'm going to hear about it." she snapped even though she found out by chance.

Anisha had to bite the inside of her cheek to stop herself from laughing as Indi swore. She doubted Professional Healer Indira ever did that in front of other patients, and it was kind of hilarious. She shifted a bit in the bed and grimaced as Indi took a closer look at her wound. Oh, how she wished there was any other healer here. One that wouldn't chew her out for doing anything dangerous. She considered her next words carefully, but realized quickly that she had to tell Indi the truth. She'd figure it out eventually. "I'm not.. sure?" she asked with a slight grimace. "I think it was a spell the guy made up himself, he didn't really seem to know what it would do... kind of a home brew.. thing..." she said, mumbling a bit as she got to the end of her sentence. "It wasn't, er, a very... official duel."

Indi looked at her sister sharply as she laughed and her scowl only deepened as Anisha began to explain. She could practically imagine the dark cloud brewing above her head as her exasperation grew. "You better be joking?" she hissed. "An unofficial duel?! Don't you know how dangerous those can be?" Indi fought to keep her voice at an appropriate indoor volume when she really wanted to let her sister have it. She raised a finger and pointed it menacingly. "You are soooo lucky I won't tell mom about this." With another huff she crossed her arms across her chest. "Well now it makes sense why your arm looks like it was cursed by a swamp monster." she muttered.

Anisha scooted down the bed slightly, as if she was hoping to crawl under the covers until Indi went away. She loved her sister, but she could pull some scary faces. "I mean... If I didn't know yet, I know now?" She joked weakly, smiling slightly. "Look, I know it's bad, but— wait, you won't?" Anisha blinked, surprised Indi would not tell their mother. Especially without Anisha having to bribe or beg her not to tell. "Why not?" She asked, feeling a little suspicious. She wrinkled her nose at Indi's description of her arm. "It does look like that a little," she muttered as she looked down at it.

"You should have known it from the start!" Indi snapped. Sure some things needed to be learned through experience, but not this. Anisha should have known better. She wasn't sure why her sister seemed so surprise when she said she wouldn't tell mom. It felt so obvious. "No of course not, because she'd just freak out for no reason. And when I'm done scolding you there's no reason for you to go through it again." she said firmly with her hands on her hips. "And it's not like she can do anything about it. I can." Indi said. "You're dealing with an unknown magical reaction." she said. "Which is practically my area of expertise." Indi said with a haughty tilt of her chin. It was mostly true. Her research mainly focused on new magical treatments but she was often called in to consult on cases like this, where some out of the box thinking was needed. With a sigh she took a seat on the edge of her sister's bed and met her eyes. "So," she began. "Did you win?"

Anisha wanted to point out she hadn't said she didn't know, but she decided against it. Nothing she would say would make her look less stupid in Indi's eyes, and she couldn't really blame her for that. At the same time, she had a very different career path she wanted to pursue, and didn't really understand the world of dueling at all. Anisha smiled. "Aw, so you do care," she said sweetly. "And here I thought you would say I deserved two scoldings." As her sister bragged about it being her area of expertise, Anisha made herself comfortable against her pillow. "Lucky me," she said, and even though it sounded sarcastic, she did mean it. She was honestly glad to be in Indi's hands, she knew she would be good at this. She just wasn't going to say that out loud. Anisha watched her sit down, then grinned widely at her question. She felt small burst of pride, knowing her sister cared, and knowing she could give an answer that would make her proud. "Yes," she said proudly. "I think what happened to my arm freaked him out more than me, completely distracted him. I stunned him so fast, you wouldn't believe it. But once he got revived he made a run for it. Guess he worried about getting in trouble."

Indi rolled her eyes at Anisha's teasing. Of course she cared, she just didn't feel the need to say it in so many words. Like so many things it felt obvious. If she didn't care she'd still probably be done with her paperwork and eating lunch by now. "I think two scoldings would just make you more determined to do it again." she said joked even though she kept her voice flat. She knew that "forbidding" her sister to do anything was a fools errand. They had that in common. But she smirked with Anisha said she won. "Good." she said simply. "Well give me a discription anyways. If he ever ends up on the wrong side of one of those spellls. I'll just keep it in mind." she continued with a shrug.
