Hanging around his home all day was not exactly what Chavdar would call fun. Ever since the nasty divorce seven months ago, Chavdar managed to get left with all the children here. Vladimir and Zinaida were getting older by the day, and Chavdar was rather impressed with how they much they have grown for the past years. Vladimir was current in his chair, reading as this was a weekend and he could spend it here with his twin sister, Zinaida. Vulcan was another story. Chavdar had to ensure that all candles and wands were out of that boy's reach as he loved to set things ablaze with a wave of a wand and have something either grow or explode. Vulcan was a riot, but Chavdar adored him all the same. Then there was baby Isadora. She was a precious beauty, that always clung to her father's side no matter where she was at. She was almost a year old now. She was learning to walk, but she loved to be carried. And how could he resist that blend of silvery blue eyes? Chavdar could never resist a baby. He was currently feeding her a bottle, keeping a close eye on Vulcan but Zinaida seemed to be helping him with that as well. He was a single father, and he was struggling to find a sitter for him while he worked, which he recently got promoted so that never helped with his case. Things had not been so difficult if only Rosaline had not gone and been so noble all of a sudden.
Their love was not really true, as one would love the other no matter what choices that the other made. Chavdar chosen to be a Death Eater, finally after many years of battling the darkness beside him. Chavdar was humming a soft tune with his deep voice rocking Isadora back and forth to sleep while she was feeding. It often soothed her. How could a mother do this to her children? How could one be so bitter? Chavdar was entirely hurt when he found out that she had left the Death Eaters, and wanted to get out of the marriage. He sought out approval, and it approved rather quickly. Asparuh was going to have her killed otherwise for leaving the Death Eaters, and just leaving the family would have sufficed as long as she never set foot around those with the honorable blood. Chavdar supposed that their love was just not strong enough. She could not handle the darkness. The murder and the secrets. Chavdar should have known that there would be nothing anyway. The sparks were fading and it was just not meant to be. It was not until there was a ring of the doorbell, and Chavdar glanced up. Who could that be? He rested the sleeping Isadora on the couch with a dark purple blanket. He walked up to answer the door, opening it and narrowing his eyes on who he seen. Only there was a surprise with her.
