Having a day off from teaching was a welcome event, one which Vaughn intended to savour every moment of. He enjoyed teaching, immensely, but with the examinations due; a day of relaxation was certainly much better. Choosing to wake early, before sun-rise, the transfiguration professor slipped out of his night-ware; and took a hot; steam-filled shower, to help with waking fully. After his shower, Vaughn took a walk into the local town; and to a small coffee shop, which remained open all hours of the day. Serving some of the tastiest buns ever made, it had quickly become one of his favourite places to eat breakfast.
Apparating back to his pent-house after eating, Vaughn began to think of the day ahead. It made little sense to sit around if he had twenty-four hours off from the world. Moving towards the large window, the professor caught sight of a bill-board advertising cheap flights for two to Egypt. Smiling, Vaughn summoned his jacket. "Egypt seems perfect.", he said; before a crack echoed through the room.
Setting down in England, the middle-aged wizard planned to take Raisa with him; which would be a surprise for her. Remembering the location of where she worked, Vaughn set off at a steady pace. With the difference in time-zones only being two hours, he was sure she would be at work by this time. Assuming the lady would be able to take the day off herself, the professor eventually found the dress store he needed. As he moved towards the building, Vaughn paused for a moment. He had spotted the curvaceous woman in the window. Remaining where he stood, he couldn't help but watch her lay out various dresses for the display.
