Adrian Rowan had a surprise for his brothers, Yvo and Colton. After they knew about him living in the muggle world for so long, Adrian was back and better than ever. He was an Auror now, in training but he was one nonetheless. Adrian had owled Colton and Yvo to come here, but figured that Colton would be late getting here because he had a son now. When was Yvo going to get a move on? He was the only brother that was old enough to have children not have kids yet. Adrian might have to speed that along somehow. Adrian told them to meet him in a wizarding cafe, and he would pay for the food. He thought that would get the brothers over here quicker. Adrian entered the cafe and he took a seat in a booth that could fit at least four people in it. He smiled and wondered what life would be like as an Auror. He was authorized to use the Unforgivables if necessary, he could fight for the rights of muggles and muggle-borns everywhere. Adrian would be able to live out on his own, and not be a failure in the family. Well, his attitude would have to leave, but that was about it. The man that was training him made Adrian nervous. He knew what type of job this was, and it was no day at the park. It was stressful and lives could be at stake if one messed up. Adrian was ready for the task, and he was ready to be trained. But right now, he had to tell his brothers that he had a son, and he was an Auror. So he was getting more mature, and he would prove himself to them that he was not just some failure at life. He might even come clean about the imaginary girls that he made them assume that he was with. Adrian would have to tell them absolutely everything and the very reason why he went to the muggle world. It was not just because he loved muggles and their stuff. Oh there was so much more to it than that.

Yvo Rowan luckily had the day off. His brother usually had the worst timing when it came to asking to meet up with him so he always had to either ask for some time off or miss the little family time he had these days. Yvo worked a lot. He knew he worked a lot but he had nothing better to do because his family was busy, he had only a couple of friends and they were often busy, and no girl to take out or spend his money on. Right now he was just working day by day and saving his money up for whatever he could spend it on later. He barely spent it on groceries because he wasn't a huge eater and he spent a decent amount on rent but with not much else to spend it on he still had plenty left over. Yvo admired his brother's and even his younger sister's lives right now. They all had something to live for. Adrian was a partier and he often traveled between this world and the muggle world. Yvo would love to ravel around and party senselessly without any cares in the world. From what Yvo had heard, Adrian even had a son and a possible girl he was going after. Even if Adrian was probably the most idiotic out of the siblings he was doing more than Yvo was right now. Colton, had a job, he had a very wonderful girl that Yvo knew he himself would be all over if she wasn't already taken by his brother. He expected sooner or later for his brother to possibly pop the question to her. Hell he even had a baby. A son that he got to spoil and look after. Ariah had school and a future husband to worry about. They all had lives and things to keep them going and up every day. But what was something he didn't have. He didn't have to worry about caring for others but he sometimes wished he did. Because it was lonely. Maybe he should get a pet or something. He would talk to his brother's about it today. Maybe they had some sort of advice for him that could help him when it came to his lonely life at home. Hell even adopting a kid sounded more fun than being alone.

Entering the Wizarding Cafe, Yvo grinned at his brother. He sat across from him in the booth and sighed tiredly before running a hand through his hair. "Is Colton not here yet?" Yvo asked with a small smirk. He didn't see his eldest brother anywhere so he imagined that his brother was still probably at home. He just recently became a father so he was probably spending all his time with his baby. Yvo wasn't sure if he would even be off Paternal leave or not. It was almost February, how long did new parents get off from work? Colton was really good with babies so even if he didn't have off of work that baby was probably more than well taken care of. It felt awkward with just him and Adrian. Though it was more peaceful than when it was Colton and Adrian because they always fought. Yvo had grown up with Adrian, they used to play games together as kids now here they were as adults and Yvo could still see the same brother had had always known. "So what's so important that you actually contacted Colton and I first for." Normally Yvo or Colton was the one doing the contacting and stuff. But he must have had something to share or say because never really offered to do this before. It made Yvo wonder what he was up to. Should he be worried at all?

Adrian was almost relieved that Yvo had arrived, and though he wondered what Yvo had been doing other than... Well, life in the boring Ministry. He might have been working there too, but sometimes he had special privileges. However that trainer of his was beating him into shape, something that he was not appreciating because he never got to have any fun. Adrian could finally get out of this misleading concept of being... Well, not the brightest crayon in the box. There was something that he had gone through that none of them understood. Adrian had to fight Colton for the spotlight and love, and he hated living in the shadow, and the boy was not even supposed to be born. He was an affair, a mistake, and Adrian was the oldest of them all. Adrian thought that he was the most handsome of them all too but he did not really flaunt that out so much. They were all handsome in their own way even if sometimes he wanted to look more like his father than his mother. Adrian looked up at Yvo as he took a seat in the booth in front of his own, and he asked if Colton had gotten here yet. Adrian hoped that he did not show until later, but then again, he wanted to rub it in, that he was an Auror - but little did he know was that it was going to warp his attitude, change his behavior, and make him mature. Adrian did not know any of this, even though he just jumped into it blindly. Maybe now someone can actually be proud of him and not say that he was going to screw up. Adrian admitted, he did screw up, but he just wanted to get away from the life that he was living in the wizarding world, but he knew that he did not belong in the muggle world. He found it fun and interesting, and he did not understand why they can't just unify. Adrian knew that some of the pure-bloods did not believe in it, but it was something he did. But he was not about to stand up to them all, he preferred to be left alone. He was his own man. He smiled handsomely at Yvo for a greeting, acknowledging his little brother.

"No, he isn't here just yet, but he has a son to take of too, and a woman that loves him, so he is living the good life," muttered Adrian almost out of jealousy. His skin stretched over his skull almost greened with envy. Adrian hated that even now, Colton seemed to be living better but he did not know the sort of drama his brother had anyway. Adrian had plenty of it coming from Samantha, and thought that he should be able to see his own kid and everything else. Then again, he liked her and just did not know how to get someone like her. He was not used to having to chase the girl down, always used to being chased down. Adrian looked down at his arms on the table before he noticed Colton walking in, childless. That might be a good thing considering Adrian still did not really believe that Colton could go all the way with a girl, let alone produce a baby. Once Colton was here, he could answer Yvo's question, with a smirk. He could not wait to see their reactions, when he announced that he was an Auror to them. He was expecting them to either be proud, or be jealous. He did not think that it cold happen any other way. That was where he could be seriously wrong... Adrian looked at the two of them, before he said, "Well, I wanted to tell you both, I have a new job here in the Wizarding world no less. I thought I might as well face it, the muggle world... I don't belong there fully. So, you are looking at a brand new Auror." He had the grades, he had passed the requirements to be one, and now it was out in the open, and he could not wait to see their reactions to his news.

The one thing that Colton was not expecting was Adrian to be contacting him and Yvo about meeting up because he had some news for them. Colton had tucked his son into bed, and told Gabrielle that he needed to meet up with his brothers really fast and he would be back soon. How could one have gotten so lucky with having her around him? As much as he loved her, and cared for her, he soon wanted to marry her and be with him all of his and her life. They already had the perfect family, and all they needed to do was get the rings and have it situated. Colton would just have to figure out a way how to. Apparating off to the wizarding cafe where he was going to be meeting his brothers, Colton entered looking as tired as ever because he had little to no sleep with a newborn in the house, and he was surviving on just coffee. He muttered an apology before he took a seat next to Yvo because he did not want to be that close to Adrian. Colton did not want Adrian to accidentally spill something on him because he was just not in the mood. Colton looked over at Adrian and did not bother greeting because he jumped right into the reason why they were all here. However in the middle of sipping his coffee in a cup, Adrian dropped the bomb of telling them that he was an Auror. Colton got into a coughing fit having inhaled some of the black coffee by accident. His fist pounding on his chest to stop the blasted coughing before he gave Adrian the weirdest look he could muster. It was like telling them that he had managed to breed with a dragon. Colton did not know Adrian's grades or anything, but how in the world did he manage to get into that occupation? It was not something one can swish his hair at and win it. Colton coughed again and cleared his throat, "You mean... You are lying, there is no way possible you are brave enough to go after a Dark Witch or Wizard, let alone a Death Eater. You'd get yourself killed." Colton thought that Adrian had lost his marbles this time. Colton was getting into the darker side of the families, with the Lefevre's and the Snow's, Ariah was going into the Zhefarovich family - which he was coming to understand how they were, Adrian's life could be at risk right now if he meddled with the wrong people.

Yvo wondered if he should comment at all on how tired Colton looked today. Usually he managed to get enough sleep and look well rested whenever he came about. But not a second later Yvo remembered that his brother had a newborn at home. Yvo smiled lightly and scooted over to make some room for his brother. At least Colton still came when he had so much probably going on at home right now. ”How have things been at home Colton?” Yvo inquired trying to spark some kind of conversation. He knew it was better to just distract him and Adrian before they had the chance to start fighting with one another. Oh the many fights he could have prevented if he learned this fact when they were all a bit younger. But before he could even ask Adrian the same question the eldest blonde went straight to the boy of why he invited them both there. He had become an Auror. While Colton started to have coughing fit, instead of following suit Yvo just stared at him with his mouth wide open. Well that was quite the shocker. Colton's comment just about summed up what Yvo was thinking but since he wasn't always fighting with Adrian and he was considered to be the kindest of the three brother's, he thought up something else to tell the newly made Auror. Yvo nudged Colton. ”What Colton means is, we're proud that you managed to get such a decent job. But um...” Yvo trailed off trying to think of the best way to say this sort of thing. Yvo thought this was a foolish move because one, they were becoming more and more involved with the Death Eaters. Not by choice but by arranged marriage and falling in love two of their siblings have become more involved. Colton himself was one of them too. Of course he would be slightly upset over this. ”Well um, don't you think it's a bit of a stab in the back? You do remember who our little sister is going to marry right? She'll want to drive a quill through your eyes if you do this to her. On top of that, you already have a fondness for muggles. Why put an even bigger target on yourself?” Yvo definitely would have been in Ravenclaw if he had gone to Hogwarts. He always thought things out carefully. He was trying to be nice about it too. But he didn't think his brother was making the world's best decisions. Did he even think about any of this when he went to join? Mostly likely not knowing him.

Adrian shot Colton a rather displeased look before he snapped, "In case you didn't know, I did in fact get some of the best grades in school, certainly more than enough to satisfy those Healers." Adrian did not even notice if Colton was being sincere or anything, but all he took it as was an insult, and Adrian was tired of being insulted. He was tired of being in Colton's freaking shadow. Now he had a job that would make the morgue life a little easier, saving lives and whatnot. Though his trainer was hard on him, Adrian was not going to be giving up anytime soon. Adrian was an Auror now, so he was not about to let some Healer with an attitude problem and a kid get in his way. At this time, Adrian did not even know he had a son because he had yet to find Samantha. But he would eventually, and that would be a shock to him. Adrian ran his fingers through his hair and he let out a sigh before he muttered an apology over to Colton about him snapping. Already the Auror training was helping him out with everything. Adrian was pretty quick at learning and it was showing more and more every day. The young Auror looked over at Colton and wondered if that boy was ever going to let up on him but he really doubted it. He wished that there was something more than just girls and children for men. Maybe some friends because Colton looked like he needed a break, a long one at that. Adrian looked over at Yvo and he rolled his eyes. Oh they were just so frightened that he would end up getting hurt. Adrian could be careful if he wanted to be, and he would not get mixed into the wrong crowd, he hoped anyway. "I won't get involved with them. They won't care. I would be living in a completely different country than they would. Besides, if they are all evil and stuff, would they not avoid the Aurors?" Adrian suggested in a casual tone. Easy enough, he did not know they were so they were safe from him. Maybe that would be what would keep him safe, if he minded his own business and looked for trouble when there were signs. It was obvious that Adrian was not worried.

Colton looked over at Yvo when Yvo questioned him about things at home. Colton took a big drink of his coffee, and he wondered if he should tell his brothers about what happened. Maybe not right now. Things would be better off if they did not know anyway. Colton set his cup down and he shrugged and smiled, "Gavin is getting bigger but he is still waking us up in the middle of the night. Could not be happier though. I love being a father." It was everything he had ever dreamed of, and wondered if their own father felt like that at all. He hoped so, and Colton was glad that he was able to take care of someone like they needed him more than he needed them. Colton just rolled his own eyes at Adrian and he thought that him snapping was a little childish, but that was nothing new. Everything about Adrian was childish in the former Slytherin's eyes, however to his amazement, Adrian actually apologized. Colton wondered if being an Auror was taking its toll on him. Maybe this was the thing that was needed to bring Adrian up into adult world. Of course, Colton knew that Adrian had a son, and he did not want to tell him that. Colton did not think that Adrian could handle it, but when Samantha moved before he could tell her that Jesse was going to be a wizard, Colton thought that there would be no other choice. Ariah would be able to tell Adrian where Samantha was. Colton released his breath and finished off his coffee. He shrugged lightly before saying, "It might not matter, but it is your choice. Just be careful." Colton warned softly, but then he turned his eyes to Yvo. How likely was it that he would date a Death Eater? Well, Yvo needed a girl first. Colton wouldn't tell Gabrielle about Adrian's new job unless she asked for it. Perhaps the same thing could go for Ariah. If she was ever curious about Adrian's life that is. Colton turned his brown eyes to Yvo and he said, "Yvo, don't tell anyone about Adrian's job unless they ask. That includes Ariah. Adrian might be careful with this, but we do need to do our best to protect him without harming ourselves along the way." Colton thought that it would be the best for them all. Even though he and Adrian did not get along, Colton did not want to see him dying without having to do something that could have sealed his fate otherwise.

Yvo grinned. He was glad that Colton was enjoying fatherhood. Raising children was a difficult job to do. But if there was anyone out there that was talented enough to do it. That would be Colton. He was probably the one that was teaching Gabrielle how to take care of the baby instead of the nurses doing it. ”That’s awesome. Do you think you and Gabrielle might tie the knot soon too?” Yvo asked half curious about whether his brother was thinking about marriage with her, and partially jealous that Colton had a family, a pretty girl, and a kid. He was a giant step ahead of them all. Yvo had barely started to get his life started himself. Adrian was doing goodness knows what because he was now trying to be an Auror. Yes Yvo was proud of him. But Yvo was also nervous that something could happen to the family now. The Death Eaters did not play around. Well neither did the Aurors but the Aurors were a lot easier to trust. Many of them were still sane so they could be trusted not to destroy a city or murder a child. ”Guys please do not fight. We never said that your grades weren’t good enough. Colton is just worried. So am I. This job is…..dangerous.” Yvo stated. Sometimes darker Wizards and Witches held grudges and made it their life’s mission to destroy certain people. Good people could do that too but it was rare. Yvo didn’t want his brother to chance his life just because he wanted to prove that he was growing up. He could have just gotten an office job and that would have kept the family happy. Ideas started to spring forth and Yvo sighed. Did Adrian realize the risks he was taking by going into this field of work? Did he not understand that his life was now in danger? "Is it about that muggle you’re so interested in? Is that why you became an Auror? Look, I don’t mean to put your job down. I am proud. But really if that’s what it is…she’s not worth it." Yvo meant this in the best possible way he could. But if Samantha was causing him to try and impress her or protect her with such a dangerous job, it wasn't safe then. Because did she even really like him? Was his life really worth protecting someone that truly didn't care. "I'm not the one you need to be worried about Colton, you're girlfriend's the traitor. What kinds of problems do you think she could cause if she wanted to?" Yvo didn't feel like him telling was the problem. Ariah was related to them. Gabrielle was too. What was to step her from telling any of them. He figured his brothers would understand that much at least.

Colton shrugged and he murmured, "Maybe one day." He was hoping to tie the knot soon, because he loved Gabrielle and looked forward to the day that she was going to be his wife. He loved her with all of his heart, and there was no one that was going to change that. Colton looked over to Adrian and he kept his mouth shut. He hoped that Adrian knew that Colton was truly proud of him doing something with his life, but he could not support his overall decisions to have lived in a muggle world and then live a double life. No one should have to do that in order to get their own image, or whatever the reasons were for Adrian to have done that. Obviously Adrian as willing to face the danger that being an Auror had to go through. Colton thought that if Adrian really wanted to go through with it, then he would live and do a great job with it. It was about time that he would see something like this. Adrian was getting his life together, and he was doing fine right now. Perhaps him being an Auror would not be that bad. Colton did not say another word on the subject because his mind was too busy wrapped around the fact that Adrian was crazy enough to do such a job that required much bravery. 'Must be the Gryffindor in him showing through and shining the colors,' thought Colton. He was no Gryffindor, and he was not about to risk his own life now that he had a family to look after. However Colton was a little shocked when Yvo so plainly pointed out that Samantha Daisy was not worth it. He did not know what being an Auror had to do with the muggle, but making it sound like that was not something that Colton would have ever expected to hear from Yvo. However then Yvo started talking directly to Colton, which his eyes went over to his younger brother's. Colton narrowed his eyes, and it was clear that the more Yvo started on Gabrielle, the angrier he got. Colton could not believe what he was hearing. Yvo was either out of his mind, or just not thinking. Either way, Colton did not think that it was an excuse to behave like he was. Colton suddenly stood up and he said in the coldest voice either brother had ever heard him speak, "You see Yvo, this is why you don't have any friends or any chance of a love life. You judge before you know, and the next time you speak of my Gabrielle in that manner, you will regret it." Colton had not even gotten out his wand, and he looked to Adrian whom seemed to be pissed off as well. Colton continued, "Until you learn to think before speaking and apologize to me and Gabrielle, don't come to my house." Colton apparated off, because he did not have the patience to deal with it.

Adrian looked down at his hands and he closed his mint green eyes for a moment. He never thought that Colton would have been the type to ever get married, but it was something else. Colton was a good father from what he figured, but he was amazed by his younger brothers. All of them had either jobs or families or both. Adrian just got a good job now. He was this Auror that was doomed to have his life in danger but it helped him by motivating him to get out there and be his own person rather than making it for others. He loved being an Auror, and he was not going to stop anytime soon. He hoped that Colton and Gabrielle did tie the knot. He turned toward Colton and he said, "Tell Gabrielle that I'm proud of her being the mother of my nephew." It was his way of telling sorry to Colton about how he had really violated Gabrielle's space that one day. He would definitely not do it again. It was definitely evidence that he was indeed growing up, which was a great thing. It was a great thing because Adrian was finally going to be doing his own thing, and soon he was going to be raising a family one day, and hopefully getting married. Adrian wanted to be married one day, but did not know if he was going to be able to. Adrian shrugged, "I know it is dangerous. I researched it before going into it." Adrian remembered reading stuff on it, and how life was difficult as an Auror, but he could handle it. The young Auror gave his brother an odd look about mentioning Samantha, and seeing if this whole job with the Aurors was all about her. No, this had nothing to do with her, it was all about himself, but if he wanted to, he would have done it for her, but the moment that he mentioned that she wasn't worth it, it struck a powerful nerve. He narrowed his mint eyes, but before he could smart off to Yvo, he managed to go and make Colton even angrier. Adrian had never seen him that pissed before, and Adrian thought that Colton could have ripped off a head. He turned over to Yvo once Colton was gone and he too raised from his seat. "Just wow Yvo. Nice going." Adrian shook his head and he decided to leave. Adrian seemed to have a level head right now but that was because his girl was not as insulted. In his eyes, he looked angry, but nothing like Colton. He just apparated off because he had nothing else to really say.
