Hugo had a list list of roses to deliver today. and there was no better time to start than first thing. he had just finished his breakfast, a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea when he had a look down his list picking a name a random and heading over to the slytherin table. he had two slytherins to deliver to after all. "Hello, is Sayuri Edogawa or Sunny Day around?" he asked. a few moments later he was directed towards Sayuri. "good morning Sayuri. I have a rose for you" he said as he looked through his pile for one.

Yellow rose for @Sayuri Edogawa, the title from the court of thorms and roses series by Sarah J Maas

Sayuri hadn't thought much of today. She didn't send out roses and she had no expectations of receiving one. She knew her dad loved her. She knew her siblings did. She'd just have to spend time with them at some point or perhaps she will consider getting each of her siblings something - but it was definitely not going to be a flower - certainly not a rose. Which is why she was surprised when her breakfast - and reading - was interrupted by someone calling her name. She stared at the boy, he was vaguely familiar until it clicked. "You're the paper editor?" she asked while he looked for the rose.

Hugo nodded when the girl recognised him as the paper's editor "Yes, that is me, well one of the editors, I'm Hugo" he said. It still always surprised him when people knew who he was. He always figured he was somewhat unmemorable—just a quiet guy hanging around, not really drawing much attention to himself. "I have a rose for you" he said not realising that he was repeating himself. as he handed out the yellow rose with its note.

Sayuri had seen the paper from last semester, and she wasn't really impressed. Some of articles were... disappointing to say the least. While it was true that the performance of both her and Jonah's teams were unfortunate last semester, she was of the opinion that someone who knew Quidditch should be the one writing Quidditch. Hilariously enough, there was just an article on bullying on the paper and while Blythe was likely to claim he just wrote it as it is, well... she could also say that he was a real b**** and piece of work and he can go suck her **** which was true enough and definitely how she felt and was there really any real difference. Anyway, enough about Blythe since he was not the one in front of her. "So do you actually edit the paper then or do you just let your writers write willy-nilly," she asked unimpressed as she took the rose. "Thank you," she inserted anyway because manners, but also she would prefer an answer, "Well?" She could read the note later.
