It had been a surprise to him to have received this honour, he had been truly blown away by it, and subsequently had felt a huge amount of pressure upon his shoulders that it be done correctly, he was after all the leader of something, and he was expected to run it like leaders of clubs within this school ran things and not like how he knew to run things. He wouldn't just call a meeting and know that the majority would turn up and just let everyone be on equal standing, here they actually expected him to be a real leader, and the teen was looking forward to the challenge, he didn't want to call himself leader, but he was going to have to. The teen had already done a few things in preparation, he'd started a little herb and vegetable garden which he hoped to expand with the help of the wild patch members taking turns to look after them, he had always big plans for what their first event would be. He had been planning this, sort of for month, unsure about if he would actually go ahead with it, but the events in the Great Hall had definitely made him decide that he was going to do it. His passion was now driven, focused, and he had to bring the motion to the other members of the wild patch.

So, Orwell had set up a little shed type area, resembling something from his community, that had places for people to sit and a place for Orwell to write up his ideas. For this meeting, he wanted to present his idea, the reasoning behind it, and then put it to a vote, he would likely still do it, without a majority but in that case it would just be him, and likely Archie whom he was dragging along anyway. The teen had set out various bits of flowers and other things with which he intended that they would make flower crowns, the flowers had been freshly picked and put under a spell so that they would last. It was a simple sort of crown which he expected people to start making, and he assumed they'd be able to perfect their skills during the protest he had planned, now, as he stood proudly looking at all of the word that he'd done, the teen just needed people to arrive, he'd handed out leaflets and spoken with people about it and he was really hoping that because of that he was going to get more than a few attending.

Archie had never been one to willingly follow another leader. Everything was usually his way or the highway, all or nothing and much like this was his usual mindset, he also usually refused to think otherwise for many reasons although the most prominent reason was his ability to be stubborn at the worst of times. It was a simple mindset for him to follow although a mindset he could not easily rid himself of. But of course the Gryffindor's mind was full of surprises and when Orwell had been appointed leader of the Wild Patch Club, Archie felt nothing but gratitude for his friend, and wanted nothing more than to follow him as a leader. He was sure the time he would spend during the next few years looking up to Orwell as a leader of the Wild Patch Club would be time well spent. Experiencing outdoors and being close to nature was one thing, however holding protests and fighting the system all while putting together flower crowns was truly on another tier of awesome that Archie could hardly wait for.

And it was this exited mindset that Archie left the Gryffindor common room with. He eagerly threw his satchel over his shoulder and pulled a beanie on his head before he left the tower and strolled down to the Wild Patch where he found none other than the leader of the club himself, immersed in what appeared to be the task of setting up the first meeting. "Afternoon, Sir." Archie jokingly greeted his best friend, highlighting their difference in status though he knew Orwell was unlikely to appreciate the gesture. Down with capitalism, fight for freedom, and all those other amazing beliefs of equality Orwell stood for. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He said as he chuckled sheepishly before he properly greeted his friend with a hug. "I missed you. Let's get to the meeting."

Lydia had found a leaflet instructing her about the meeting a little after breakfast, she had been thrust one from a boy walking through the hall talking about the club, about the flower crowns and other things. She had forgotten about the leaflet and used it as a bookmark until she had reopened the book a few days later and them read through it. She was curious, she'd never attended a protest before, she figured a new experience of that nature would be good, although she wasn't sure what it would entail, but the girl was keen and therefore she had decided that she would actually attend. It was therefore what she was doing on that day, she had a few of her own supplies unsure as to what she might need to make flower crowns, but unsure as to if they would have the necessary equipment to make them at the club. She was feeling optimistic about it, sure that no matter what happened, she would have a good time, and maybe she would be able to learn a few things too.

Lydia walked through the school and ended up at the gardens, it took her a little while to find it, but she did, and was vaguely impressed with how it all looked. Different from how she imagined, but she was also vague impressed, she had noted the patch of the gardens which had a little flag on it, saying Wild Patch, though it wasn't a green colour she had come to associate with the Wild Patch, it was green and black, but she ignored that, and ventured into the area well protected from the elements though it looked like it wasn't at all. She spotted two people inside, and the room was clearly set up for the meeting, "Wild Patch meeting?" she asked, though already sure of the answer and therefore spent very little time lingering since she didn't know either of them, other than slightly know the blonder of the two from playing quidditch, she didn't want to do much else, but took a seat and waited for others.

Tholomyes had been instructed by his sister to get involved, which hadn't been what he had wanted to do, but something he ended up having to do. It wasn't a particularly tricky thing to do, Theo needed to find things to do, and he had found two clubs right on his street, he was working on a third, and the two he had managed to find were the arts and the wild patch, the latter of the two had been the later choice. He'd been handed a leaflet in the Great Hall and had chosen to give a read, the flower crowns bit had been the bit to get him, he didn't mind so much about the protest, but was willing to hear out the ideas of it. His father had talked often about those socialist roots prior to selling out. Theo wondered if this leader was that kind of a person, a socialist of some kind, and feeling like a little rebellion would do no less harm than sitting around the young ravenclaw had promptly decided that he too would join in.

He swung a small bag on to his back with a few items inside it that he believed might be necessary, but mostly just a book so that if this meeting ended up being boring he had something to do, he didn't want to listen to someone preaching but he would remain a member of the club for as long as he wanted to. Theo had some trouble finding his way between the Ravenclaw tower and the gardens where this meeting was being held, he had wandered into a few strange classrooms, and then almost out the cliffs before he'd realised it had been wrong. However, now he could spot it, and some girl just up ahead of him. He was a little unsure of himself, finding a place at this massive school would be hard, he wanted to do well, but he wasn't that sure what he would do well in, the classes were just so different from the ones he remembered and Theo hadn't really been studious. Languages were his thing, and he was good at them. Wondering into the makeshift area, the boy greeted the team leader, someone he'd heard about and seen in the Ravenclaw common room. He took a seat next to some other girl, and took out his book, just waiting for something to happen. He could read and wait.

Jean had sort of made a promise to show up at the meeting, so a few days later, with the leaflet folded in his pocket, he made his way out of the castle. He supposed it was a good idea to get involved in something other than quidditch. Jean was good, but not good enough to ever make a career of it. At least, he didn't think so. And being a prefect would definitely look good when he applied for jobs, but he wasn't sure it was going to be fun. Jean had begun thinking a lot more about what he wanted to do after he left the school. It was probably because this was his OWL year and his older family members had scared him asking questions about it. He'd had no answers to offer, mostly just shrugging or mumbling things that were clear lies like that he wanted to own a shop. That sounded dreadful to Jean.

The problem was that Jean didn't really know what he liked. He mostly just did whatever his siblings were doing because it was already being done. So, even though, he wasn't ecstatic about this upcoming meeting, Jean wondered, way in the back of his mind, if he might actually like it. And he was pretty sure he wouldn't run into any of his siblings here. At least, he didn't think he would though he couldn't be sure. When they were in school, he hardly saw his sisters outside of class. He saw Lucien more often, but he was almost certain, he wouldn't be here. Finding the spot easily enough, Jean ducked inside and smiled at Archie and the leader, some guy named Orwell according to the leaflet. He glanced around and spotted flowers, gesturing to them with his thumb. "Are those the flower crowns you promised?" he chuckled as he took a seat. He didn't know the girl who was there, though she was pretty. He gave her a polite smile.

Now this sounded like the perfect club for him as long as it involved making flower crowns. The tall boy practically skipped across the grounds, the leaflet for the club clutched in his hand just in case he needed it. But he doubted that, but it was best to be prepared for these kinds of things and so he would just bring it along all the same. If he didn't need it there was always a place in his pocket. Somewhere seeing as he did like to hoard all kinds of things in his pockets when he nowhere else to put something. For now, he would just keep a hold of the leaflet and hoped that he didn't need to awkwardly empty out his pockets to try and find a space for it seeing as he really didn't want to scrunch it up. They had obviously worked hard in making the leaflet look nice and it would just be rude to scrunch it up in front of them. If his pockets were full he could always just stick it down the back of his pants for safe keeping. Yes, now that sounded like a perfect plan to him, nothing could go wrong then.

Spying a small group of students, Jae pushing his thick-rimmed glasses up his nose with a free finger, a nervous smile on his face as he walked towards them. "Hello," he greeted them with a small nod. This seemed to be the right place, but he still felt the need to ask even if he already knew the answer. Looking around a little, the Korean boy took a moment to look over the faces of the other people before he silently sat himself down, crossing his legs in front of him as his hands started to pick at the grass. He supposed all he could really do was wait until things actually started, but for now he put the leaflet in his lap as he concentrated on skimming through the greenery in front of him. Maybe he could find an interesting bug, there had to be some kind of magical insects.

Orwell was truly immersed in the task of setting up this meeting that he hadn't even heard his best friend enter until he had started speaking, and Orwell looked round at him with a slightly look of outrage over being called sir, but when he saw Archie's face, he realised that his best friend hadn't really meant it. Orwell hated that he was in charge of something, he knew that the school needed a leader but he really hated the title that it gave him. He didn't like thinking of himself as in charge of anything, he intended to run the wild patch like it was a collective, like the collectives he knew and had read about, so instead of being actually annoyed at Archie's statement, he just welcomed the hug from him, and returned it leaning his head slightly against his friend's shoulder and just finding his smile come easy, he'd missed his friend too, and this year was going to be so busy for them both, he was looking to spend all the time that he could with him. Which was why Brock was incredibly pleased that his friend had decided to join him in this club, in what they were planning.

As he broke from the hug, he noticed a girl entering, closely followed by a boy, "Come in! Come in!" he told them both, motioning for them to take their seats and then putting out the last bits and pieces, then someone else turned up and Orwell knew him perhaps a little more from the amount of times he'd watched Archie play quidditch, "Indeed they are, feel free to begin making the crowns as we wait for others, I tried to promote this as much as possible, but we'll see who attends," he noticed another boy, again, a young first year and smiled happily at him, "Hello welcome!" he greeted him, and then just stood in front, he was sure that others would arrive in due course, but Orwell was keen to begin. So he took out his wand, and with a small flourish of it, and a little writing, words appeared, saying, Flower Crowns, Extra space in garden, forest protest. Orwell cleared his throat slightly, glancing back at his friend, "We're just going to get started since we have three things to get through today. My name is Orwell, I'm a fourth year Ravenclaw, I am technically leader but I want to run this club like a democracy so we'll vote on everything we do." Orwell began smiling at them all as he introduced himself and how he'd be running the place,

"During this semester I want to focus on these three things, the first of which is flower crowns, I figure we can make them, and then give them out to people, who if they wish could donate money to the club," Orwell began, "Obviously you do not need to make flower crowns, nor will I force you to give them away, but I figure we could be promoting the club, spreading the flower crown love and if we get donations we can put them towards item number two," Orwell cleared his throat slightly, "Now, before I move on does anyone have any objections or additional comments to what I've just said?"

Archie smiled when other students arrived to the meeting, his smile widening when he realized one of the students who had arrived was one of the people he had spoken to about the club while making a scene in the great hall. He approached Jean and sat next to him, allowing Orwell to answer the question about the flowers scattered everywhere. "Have you made a flower crown before, Jean?" He queried, picking up a handful of flowers from one of the piles and trying to weave them together to no avail. Flower crowns required attention to detail and an amount of perfectionism that Archie did not have so he quickly gave up and threw the flowers in his hand back into the pile just as Orwell introduced himself to the group.

"Wooo! You're the best Orwell!" Archie cheered. Showing support for his best friend and jokingly drawing attention to his status as club leader a second time, not caring how obnoxious he probably sounded to the other students. As Orwell continued to speak, Archie listened and nodded occasionally, choosing to ask a question about the third subject his friend had yet to mention during the meeting. "What are we going to do about the protest?" He said, already well aware of the plan for the forbidden forest protest because Brock had yet to shut up about it since he had gotten into trouble over being in the forbidden forest one night, however choosing to ask out of impatience and for the sake of moving the meeting along to something he knew more about.

Lydia had wondered what this meeting might entail, and she was surprised when it just got started, they were not many it seemed but she was very happy to be taking part in this, whatever it was. She picked up some of the flowers in front of her and began to make this flower crown which they were supposed to be making, just as the leader, Orwell, began speaking, she kept silent, finding it a little jarring when the boy who was clearly the leader's friend yelled out, but she pushed this down, knowing that it was likely just the only thing they'd do. She liked the sound of making the flower crowns so that their club might be able to get a little money to do more. Her mother had been pretty good at flower crowns, and had shown her when she'd been young, this was of course different, but Lydia knew it would still be fun. She nodded in agreement and understanding, but then glanced at the boy who had cheered as he asked about the protest, he was jumping the gun a little bit, but admittedly, Lydia had been very curious about what the club had been pitching in their leaflet about a protest, she remained silent looking expectantly up at the leader of the club for him to tell them what they were doing about the protest.

Theo had been glad when at long last a first had entered the room, he had already begun trying to make a crown, but it seemed to be failing miserably, he couldn't get them to stick together, he muttered under his breath about how his sisters would be so much better at this than him, and then with that, he just stopped trying. Eventually, he just looked at the older student, who he recognised from his house and he began speaking, Tholomyes was all about getting himself out there during these first days and this was part of it. He didn't care so much about what they were doing, though he was surprised that the flower crowns they would be giving away in the hope of charity or for themselves, if the club was so strapped he didn't mind giving the extra money. Tholomyes then perked up at the mention of the protest, although he didn't outwardly show any of it, just looked at the boy who'd asked the question, and then to the leader, "Protests never achieve anything," Theo stated, pretty sure that no matter what they did, if they did anything that any protest would not end well for them, or end with them just getting into trouble for it all.
