Freddie knocked on Professor Adler's door. While he waited for it to open, or at least for a 'come in', he picked strands of hair out of his eyes, blowing upwards at them 'til they fell in a better place. He needed a haircut so bad, it wasn't even funny. Or maybe he'd just grow it long. Like a rock star. Heehee - a rock star. Aunt Thalia would never let him. She hated anything that Freddie liked. He knocked again, because the first knock had been very quiet. This was only gonna take a sec. In, say goodbye, out. Nothing scary about that at all. Except for every single part of it.

Professor Adler hadn't actually heard anyone knock on the door, because she'd had her head in one of the cupboards as she was clearing out her things. She didn't want to leave the school, but the time had come that she needed to give the office back to Professor Waldgrave, who probably wouldn't appreciate the things she'd left in his drawers. It was only when she opened the door to leave, that she realised Freddie was standing behind it, "..Oh!" the woman took a step back in surprise, startled out of her train of thought. "What can I do for you Freddie?"

She wasn't in. Oh well. He tried. Freddie turned just as the door opened - and suddenly there was Professor Adler, looking all surprised, like he hadn't knocked. "Ohh," he said, turtling his hands in his sleeves. His face had gone hot. "I'm just saying bye to everyone. So, bye."

He didn't move.

Geo watched as Freddie seemed a little unsure of what he was trying to say. Surely it wasn't just, bye. Or it seemed a little too much effort to come all this way if he was just making the rounds. "Is that so?" She liked Freddie though, and of what she'd seen of him in class she had a feeling he was going to do well in his years to come. It would just be a shame she wouldn't be around to see it. "I'm on my way to the Professors lounge if you want to walk with me?" Professor Adler asked, closing the office door behind her, "unless you're headed to the next professor on your list, in which case I don't want to get in your way."
