Professor Misha Haden had awoken shortly after passing out in the duelling room, and had somehow managed to drag his body up to the hospital wing, just to get checked out, to ensure that the clearly very angry professor hadn't done last damage. Misha had a number of bruises and small cuts littering his body, and a killer headache but really the only thing that had really suffered was his pride. The charms professor had known he was going to lose, but the man had held nothing back, barely flinching at the spells Misha had sent, using a second wand, everything about it had been weighted against him, but Misha should've known and he should've known better than to egg the surly professor into doing things that were going to bump up his position on the man's kill's list.

But there was something that Professor Misha Haden found innately fun about it. He finally got himself to the hospital wing, and peeled off his shirt, letting the nurse that was taking care of the other students, check him over for any major injuries, cleaning up all the minor ones. It really did appear as though the worst of it was his head, and the pride, but the nurse had nothing for his pride, he could only just sit and wait until the nurse got some of the pain reliever potion and hopefully some alcohol and Misha would be on his merry way. The charms professor would hold his head high, though his pride wasn't walking with him, he would be happy with how he'd done, and the fact he hadn't died was definitely the silver lining, Misha knew if he did it over he probably would do the same, the students had to see why it was important to learn to duel properly, to put the work in, or so Misha would tell himself.

At fifteen years old, Dina constantly had to remind herself that it wasn't really appropriate, nor was is socially acceptable, to play around like the boys in her year. She'd always been a bit of a loner and a tom boy, growing up with only brothers and a father had that affect on people. It wasn't that she didn't want to be more girly or feminine, but she didn't really know how to go about it. The only girls she knew were really annoyingly girly and her friends were all boys, which probably said more about her than she would care to admit. Then of course there was Alexander who she was constantly teaching bad habits to. Still, she supposed it was better than being left out in the rain by accident. Sometimes she wondered how her father raised children successfully. She was on her way to the Hospital Wing that day, after the duels were finished to get herself all fixed up and make sure she was doing well. She was a little bit obsessed with ensuring that her health was fine and though her duel with Felix had not lasted long at all, she wanted to be extra sure. As she walked into the Hospital Wing though, she wasn't at all surprised to see the Charms Professor there. After all, they'd all seen that brutal matchup.

If there was one thing that Dina knew, it was magic. She was still no expert of course, but she wanted to either be a dueller or a curse breaker when she graduated and so she was making sure that she was keeping up to date with her spell work and she was almost certain that what had happened out on that stage was no duel. It was more a grudge match if anything and, quite frankly, had been simply painful to watch. The moment Professor Haden had stepped out onto that stage, it was fairly obvious who was going to win and if it did anything, it showed the students why messing with the Slytherin head of house would be a colossally bad idea. She walked over to where the Professor was sitting and frowned slightly. "Man, that was f*cking brutal." She realised what she'd said and clamped her hand quickly over her mouth. "Sorry Sir, pretend I didn't say that." There were quite a few people who would have liked to see Professor Styx taken down a peg or two, but unfortunately that didn't happen. She understood that some of the students in this school were related to him, but that didn't mean that she had to like him. He was the scariest person she'd ever met. "It was pretty bloody rude that he left you like that. Could've at least got you some help I think. Not too badly broken?"

The professor had his office just across the corridor and was just going to pop back into it as soon as he had the pain reliever potion, it wouldn't take too long he hoped for the pain to go away and he could just drink himself out of the feelings of hurt pride, which was perhaps a thing easier said than done, but he just had to wait, what with a lot of students ending up needing a little attention as the oldest and only adult in the room he was left to wait. Waiting sitting on the bed with blank expression on his face, but a small sense of pride he'd held out so long, and really he had battled Styx and lived to tell the tale though he imagined this was just because they were at school and killing professors would be a tad inconvenient for everyone but the one that was dead.

However he was stopped in his thinking when a student jumped into his vision and started speaking, with his headache he chose to ignore the use of a swear word and just met the gaze of the young student as he listened along, he recognised her from his classes, a fourth year he was sure and he then just smile at her, a slightly tired smile but he appreciated the fact that this girl seemed to be on his side of it, in surprise over the lack of concern from the other teacher, "Nothing broken, just bruised," he told the student, "I'll be fine by tomorrow," Professor Haden wasn't sure what else to say and just gave the girl as polite a smile as he could, "If you train hard enough you'll be able to beat me just like he did," He encouraged her unsure of what else to say to her aside from that, he was just waiting until he could leave, grab his shirt, the potion and leave.

Prudence had fought with herself on if she really should enter the hospital wing and tell Professor Haden to get better soon or not. The bottle-blonde liked the professor, he was one of her favorites even if she wasn't a fan of the subject he taught. Finally after a bit of deliberation, and obtaining some flowers which she wrapped colored parchment around and tied with a rather silky string, she entered his room. There was a younger Gryffindor there already, and while Prue recognized her from around the common room she had no idea what the girl's name was. She was sure she was in Venn's year though.

"Professor?" she pipped up, her voice a bit more timid than it was around anyone else. With a faint blush on her cheeks Prue looked away and handed him flowers. Why the hell didn't he have a shirt on? The teen girl felt a little warm around the collars of her shirt and dared to glance back at him, hardly hiding how red her face was. "I hope you get better soon, pride and all." She spoke nearly above a whisper, her vocal fray and Kiwi accent prominent.

Professor Kingsley had taken advantage of the fact that most of the students had made their way to the dungeons for the dueling tournament to get some much needed work done in her office. She had letters to write to some overly concerned first year parents to assure them that their children were alive and thriving. By the time she finished, her hand was throbbing and her head was pounding. Looking around, she realized she was out of potion to help her headache. So, she headed to the hospital wing.

Entering, the woman discovered that the room was quite full. "I'm guessing the tournament is over" she mused aloud, her eyes scanning the room before falling on one of her colleagues. "Anything interesting happen?" she asked the man as she reached his side, smiling at the young Gryffindors surrounding the man. She'd never realized that Misha had so many admirers.

Professor Haden glanced up at as the second student seemed to approach him, he knew her also from his classes and was very surprised by the flowers that she appeared to have in her hands, he took the flowers from her with a small smile of thanks, wondering why on earth these students were in front of him, and he gladly offered her a smile as she spoke, and Misha couldn't help but smile in a friendly manner at her, "I'll be fine, just a little bump on the head, some scrapes and bruises, my pride might take a little longer, thank you for the flowers Miss Armstead," he assured the girl with as warm a smile as he could as he placed the flowers down next to him and since there appeared to be more of an audience, he reached over and grabbed his shirt and began to slip on the shirt and then smiled at both girls.

This was not to be the end of that as Misha began putting on his shirt slowly and was surprised at his colleague who walked over and asked what had happened and he just had to smile at it, "Professor Styx and I decided to show the students how to duel," Misha explained to his colleague with a small smile, "And it went exactly how you think it went," he then added unable to stop the grin on his face even though it likely had no place being there, and his head was still pounding from the effects of what had happened, and Misha continued to place of the shirt slowly buttoning it up and glancing round to where the nurse was still busy, "I'm just waiting on some pain reliever potion,"

When Rudolf had heard what had happened in the duelling chamber between Professor Styx and Professor Haden, he'd rushed straight down to the hospital wing, taking a quick detour on the way to pick up some grapes from the great hall. Once, when his Mom had been sick in St Mungos, his dad had told him that he should take her a bunch of grapes, and thus he now presented them to anyone feeling a little under the weather. "PROFESSSOORR!" he bellowed as he burst into the hospital wing, skidding to a halt on the stone floor. After dodging a few very unpleasant looks, he spied a crowd of people around a bed and ran over. "Professor Haden?" he stage whispered over a prefect's shoulder, a little more quietly this time. "Is he dead? I brought him some grapes-" the Gryffindor held them up in the air to prove it- "but if he's dead I'm not going to waste them on him." Rudolf popped one in his mouth, trying to look around the girls. Being short sucked.
