RP roulette with Senna and Nolan

After watching his friends and classmates head to the train to go home for the holidays, Louis had to have a little sulk. It had never occurred to him that he wouldn't go home this time to see his dad. Only a week before the break, his dad had sent a letter that it wouldn't be possible because he was traveling. Louis hadn't realized how much he had been looking forward to it until he saw the letter, which had really upset him. The worst part was that his sister would just go to her mum's instead, and it made it all the more clear to Louis that he had nowhere to go. He was sitting in the student lounge, a pack of cards in front of him he had half-heartedly tried to build into a house. It kept falling, which wasn't helping his mood. He let out a soft curse as it fell again, scowling down at the cards.

Nolan had mixed feelings about not going home for the break this time around. He was glad that he didn't have to deal with his mother for a bit. He still needed some time away from her. But was a little sad that he wasn't going to be able to see the rest of his family for a bit. However, Nolan hadn't realised how boring it was to spend the break at school until now. Most of his friends had gone back home for the break. The Hufflepuff wandered around the castle for a bit, boredom stretching across his face. He wandered around towards the student lounge, hoping to find something that would keep him busy. Nolan smiled when he saw a familiar face and made his way towards Louis. "Decided to stay in school longer then?" Nolan joked a little and then looked towards the cards that had collapsed as he had come in. "What are you up to?"

Senna wasn't too bothered about staying at school during the break. Sure, she would've loved to go home but she also knew she had to be understanding of her parents. Her being away at a magical school was a huge adjustment for them after all. Plus, she had been the one to offer she could stay at school over the break so her dad could travel to visit her mom at her research site for christmas. Would it have been fun if she could've joined? Yes, but she also very much thought spending a break at school could be fun. Or she hoped it would be. Surely, there would be other students around she could hang out with. Keeping that idea in mind Senna had made her way over to the student lounge and her eye immediately fell on two older boys and what looked to be a collapsed house of cards. "Hi! Are you building a house of cards? Is it not working? Are they magical cards? Can I help? I used to be the best at it back at my old school." She fired her questions at the boys after walking up to them, not for a second thinking of how easy it would be for them to just dismiss her and hang out together.
