Now that Thalia was in her fourth year she had created some schedules and to-do lists for herself that she would slowly get through. She had, also, made a list of realistic goals that she really hoped she would be able to achieve before next year. For example, getting amazing grades - the best grades. Too bad Em was a year younger, otherwise they'd be studying together all the time. Not that her sister would admit it but Em was competitive and a nerd. Thalia meant that with all good intentions. But it was true. Actually, the Ravenclaw was kind of glad that the Slytherin wasn't in her and Teodora's year, because that would make her feel even more pressured to do well. Thalia sat in the library, going over some readings she had to do for charms and history of magic, astronomy, and...well, basically, all of her subjects. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment. She needed to relax. There was absolutely no way she could do well and ace all of her assignments plus exams at the end of the semester if she stressed out this much. She didn't feel focused one hundred per cent. Tee opened her Charms textbook, deciding it was a good subject to start with, and her wand, and began to practice her spells.

Chloë would be lying if she said she hadn't been a little bit worried about how much work she would have to do this year. Being a fifth year means she had OWL classes to worry about, which had proven to be a lot of work already as the pace seemed to have picked up quite a bit in comparison to the previous year. Next to that there was quidditch which took up a considerate amount of her time as well and then there were her newly achieved prefect duties and patrols. Nevertheless, so far she felt like she had been able to control her time management quite well. She still saw a lot of her friends regularly, which felt like a small victory. Even if that mostly included her gryffindor friends, a couple of which where on the team with her as well. Perhaps that didn't count. She couldn't say she spend as much time with her friends from other houses as she did with them, but then again it was fair to say that proved to be just a little bit more difficult for everyone. It was easier to stumble upon a friend she shared a common room or even a dorm with. Feeling like she regularly needed to go over her notes from class and the corresponding readings to make sure she hadn't missed anything Chloë had found her way to the library, knowing it was one of the few places she could work without being disturbed too often. As she walked around the library looking for an empty spot she noticed one of her friends and quickly made her way over. "Hi." She greeted softly, taking a seat across from Thalia.
