Rose had been in Hogwarts New Zealand for a couple of days. She had to say she did like the school a lot.It was very vast. The castle was huge and the grounds were huge. She couldn't believe she would be here for another six years. The school was amazing ,it was so magical. The moving staircases, pictures. The ghosts. It was just so much better the her old school and old life.Magic was just an amazing thing. She couldn't believe she was actually able to do magic. She had been looking up spells in the library and she had been practicing the spells. They weren't that hard and she loved just saying the spell because she loved the fact she was able to do something with the flick of her wand. She couldn't wait to learn more. The people here were nice too.She had met a few people and she was really liking them. For once Rose was actually feeling fully like herself. She hadn't thought about her Dad in a long while which was a blessing because that always brought her down. She didn't want to think about was he missing her or was he stuck in his study doing God only knows what.

During the night,Rose woke up with a start. She'd had another bad dream. She sighed and lay back down on the bed.She felt wide awake now.It kinda sucked because she wanted to sleep as she didn't want to be tired but alas sleep wasn't coming her way.She felt as if she had been up for hours. She quietly walked into the bathroom and splashed some water on to her face. She was burning all over and she wondered was she coming down with something.Once this was done she decided to go for a walk.It would cool her down and maybe even make her tired. She quickly threw on some clothes and walked quietly out of the Gryffindor common room. She had been interested in exploring the Forbidden forest. She doubted there was anything too dangerous in it.She walked quietly through the castle, making sure to been quiet and look out for anyway because she doubted any professor and teacher would be impressed if they saw her out of bed. When she was outside, the cooling air was refreshing and Rose made her way down to the forest. She stopped at the edge and peered in.It was very quiet, almost unnerving but that didn't Rose off.She walked in.after a while, she felt her eyes dropping. She found a big branch on a huge tree and she sat down, yawning as she did so

Percy could not sleep. It was not a nightmare or anything. He just couldn’t sleep. He can’t shake the fact that he cannot sleep in this new bed the Slytherin House provided. It was an okay kind of room in which he shared with his fellow students. The only thing that bothers him is that he misses his old room. Yes, it wasn’t as good as this new room but he spent eleven years of his life there and grew attached to it. But if only the school provided big and fluffy pillows or perhaps a king sized bed then he would be contented. All these things bothered Percy a lot. It seemed hard for him to digest all these new happenings in his life. He cannot believe that he is finally starting school. Well, it was hard as he expected but he did not care. As long as he learns a thing or two, he is fine. Being a Slytherin was another story. His sister had been furious at him for getting in the house she dislikes. This just made Percy happier. He likes it when Andi’s mad at him. Actually, being a Slytherin is not really a bad thing. It is really cool, honestly and not the way his sister had described it.

Percy was now walking along the corridors of Hogwarts. He decided to talk a promenade for he thought that could make him feel a little drowsy and hopefully overcome his frustrating insomnia. The corridors were quiet which just made Percy a little happy. Peace and quiet is not really his kind of thing but he figured he might as well take it or leave and go back to the dorm. Minutes later, he heard a noise. Like someone is taking a promenade also. He raised an eyebrow as he followed the noise. Then he saw a silhouette. Whoever it was, he/she was sitting on a small bench. Percy was not sure of whom that could be. He approached the person silently. “It’s nearly 12:00 and you’re still up. Staying late is not really good, you know. We still have classes tomorrow” He commented.

The annoying thing about her dream was that she could never remember it.She always woke up terrified, sweating and breathing heavily. It was most inconvenient and frustrating. She didn't know why she was so scared. She wondered why she was having bad dreams anyways. It's not like anything bad or scary had happened in her life. There was no threat or anything either so why she was having a bad dream was beyond her.Rose liked her sleep and she wasn't always in a good mood if she didn't get much. She didn't want to be irritable in Hogwarts. She was supposed to be enjoying herself not moping around, trying to stay awake and bite at anyone who tries to talk to her.She has a nasty temper and she doesn't want it to unleash it on anybody who doesn't deserve it.She gets irritable easily and lack of sleep always makes her irritable.People just talk to her would annoy her and she would tell them to shut up.That would be unfair and they probably wouldn't talk to her again because she was making new friends. They didn't know that she actually didn't mean it and that it was just due to lack of sleep. She couldn't believe that the nightmare had decided to present itself the night before classes. She would falling asleep during class which was something that she didn't want.

She was mid way through a yawn when someone's voice made her jump. She turned around and saw a boy standing there. He looked around her age but she wasn't sure.He could be just small for his age for all she knew "Well,I couldn't sleep"She said after finishing the yawn he interrupted. He couldn't say much either,he was out of bed too. "Well if you didn't notice you are still up too"She said turning to face him.She had been almost asleep on the branch, which wouldn't have been a very comfortable sleep but she didn't mind sleeping in the forest. She had often gone camping by herself in the countryside or in forests. It was fun and exciting and it was nice to get close to nature.

The fresh air was somehow lifting Percy's spirits up. It was cool and refreshing and Percy liked it. It was a little cold for it was close to midnight but Percy ignored it. He ran his fingers through his hair as a cold breeze swept over him. Percy smiled. He was glad to know that at least there was something comfortable about this whole place other than being a Slytherin. Andrea hadn’t been talking to him lately and Percy felt overwhelmed. He liked it when they’re not talking so he could avoid further more nonsense arguments with his tempered sister. He knew Andrea didn’t approve of him being a Slytherin but he knew she knew she can’t do anything about it now. Andrea had been furious over him since the Sorting Hat told Percy he was a Slytherin. Andrea apparently dropped a slice of her precious pumpkin pie when she heard it. It made Percy chuckle. After the ceremony, Andrea rushed up to him and scolded at him. Percy of course fought back with his paragraph of nonsense words and adjectives. After their argument, they ignored each other. They had seen each other almost every day but all his sister did was roll her eyes and whisper something to a friend of hers and they both laugh. Percy of course just stuck out his tongue and makes funny faces at his sister.

Percy studied the person in front of him. She had long hair. Percy sighed disgustingly at the sight of it. He hates girls especially ugly ones. They’re just too annoying and think and acts mature. Percy liked those girls who are boyish and loves sports. And he doesn’t mean his sister because she isn’t worth befriending. He squinted his eyes in hopes to catch a glimpse of the girl’s face. He eventually makes up some girlish form and a drowsy one. Percy took a step forward and studied her features. Still, he couldn’t make out anything clear. The only thing he could see a little clearly was her brown hair. Percy raised an eyebrow when he heard the girl’s response. Her voice was high pitch and sounded kind of tired. Percy rolled his eyes. He didn’t feel tired. Percy studied the girl for a moment before replying. “Really? I doubt that.” He replied with a timid tone of voice. The girl looked really sleepy. Surely, she already felt like walking back towards her dorm and pass out. The girl added something too. Percy raised an eyebrow once more. “Of course I noticed, I’m not stupid.” Percy replied hastily and gave the girl a dirty look. It was quite odd to listen at the girl. Her accent is quite different from Percy's. She pronounced words differently from his and her R's are more pronounced than his. Percy guessed that she's not Australian like him and he immediately disliked her.

For some reason the presence of the boy had awoken her somewhat. She was much more sleepy then she had been probably due to the fact she had walked for a while and the shock of the dream had worn off.But the fact that the boy's presence had surprised her had woken her up a bit and now that he was talking she had awoken even more.So needless to say she wasn't as tired anymore but that could change at any time. She was still feeling a bit sticky though and even though it was spring Rose felt hot and warm.Maybe that part of her dream hadn't left yet but Rose was feeling hot ,so taking the hair bobin from her hair she tied it up in a loose bun.It was much more cooling.Rose had thick, long brown hair.It often raised her body temperature and she had often tied it up during the summers of France. It was weird the different seasons here. Here it was Spring but in France it was Autumn. The whole time change thing was weird two.Plus the different stars. It wasn't really noticeable but when she looked for certain stars that she knew the place of and couldn't find it,that was weird. But she was sure that in time she would get used to it.Rose embraced change and always looked forward to the unknown.Hogwarts was the unknown for her right now and she was doing her best to get stuck in there and get the most out of her new school

Rose wasn't liking the boy in front of her.She could see he was studying her,it wasn't that hard to tell if he was.Rose crossed her arms and frowned,he didn't seem to care that she actually might mind the fact he was judging her.He moved a step closer.Rose couldn't see much of him,she could just make out brown, short hair but that was it.Even though he had stepped closer he was still to far away as there was only the moon light to shine on his features. "Well what do you think I am doing out here?"She asked sitting up straighter, much more awake then before.Seriously,he thought she was a liar and they barely knew each other. She started disliking him even more and he eyes started to narrow "Well then don't comment on something I'm doing if you are also doing it yourself"She pointed out giving him a dirty look of her own.She couldn't believe that she was arguing with someone who's name she didn't know and who she had just met.the boy seemed rude and Rose didn't like him at all

Percy liked the cool air. It somehow drifted him away from all the uncomfortable feeling he felt earlier. He almost forgot that stupid letter his mother sent him this morning via stupid owl. Like the letter wasn't bad enough, that stupid owl had to bite his index finger when he tried to get the letter out of the owl's mouth. Thinking about that stupid owl made Percy's lips twitch. Andrea owned the owl. She left it because it hates her. It pretty much hates everyone except their sister Arya. Andrea had to leave the owl behind for she said it caused her too much trouble. Percy doubted that. He thinks Andrea left it because she's too lazy to feed it and too "busy" to teach it a manner or two. And it's her fault for wasting her money on an idiot owl. Percy is just glad he didn't buy any stupid animals to bring with him to the school. Speaking of stupid owls, Percy hated the letter even more. He personally feels morally abused by both of his mother and sister. It was unfair of his mother to let Andrea be in charge. As if she doesn't know how she treats him when she gets the chance. Percy was still left wondering if Andrea's owl named Hickey had already delivered Andrea's letter. Their mum already told them that she would be sending the two of them letters via Hickey. Percy wondered why Andrea haven't approached him and bossed him around already. It seemed very unlikely for his sister to not start sticking up her nose at him. If what Percy was dreading for isn't true, he could only hope that something bad is going to happen to Hickey or else, Hogwarts would totally be hell.

Thinking about the letter made Percy's heart sank even deeper. He cannot believe his mother is going to make his life a living hell. He was only here a few days and now it's bad already. He felt like his own mother doesn't even trust him. She said in her letter that she appointed Andrea to look after him. When Percy read this line when he read the letter the first time, he was happy. He mean, it was Andrea's job to make him stable and all he got to do was goof off and make Andrea's job harder but when he read the line that said he also need to follow her orders or no doughnuts for a year, that's the time Percy felt the favoritism. The stupid girl in front of him wasn't helping much either. Either it was her stupid brown hair or her stupid questions. "I don't know. Getting some fresh air, maybe." He replied with the same tone of voice. "I don't think you could not sleep. Judging by your current state..You look pretty drowsy to me. So that means you can totally sleep. Unless..." Percy hesitated. "...You were sleepwalking." He finished accusingly. Percy hated the fact that the girl was a hothead. It only remind him of his sister. Percy gave the girl a sour look. She was harsh and snappy. Percy hates snappy people especially when they are girls or gays. "Why, Miss Hothead? Isn't this a free country?" He mockingly said.
