Jason finished brushing his teeth in the bathroom and looked into the mirror. He liked this house, though it was not their own yet. Everyone was in and had a room, they were all in bed. He had noticed that the new girls seemed to be dealing with this alright. The blonde one, Skyle, she was as helpful as anyone expected her to be really but he could see the other one, Angela, being a problem. She obviously didn't want to be here with anyone and he knew this would hurt his wife. Nelly couldn't resist helping all children who had had hard lives, that's what their own life was all about really. Helping those that nobody else wanted.
Jason ran his hand through his hair before leaving the on-suite bathroom and entering his new bedroom. They had left the master bedroom, the room of the poor man who had died here, alone. They didn't even want to go there, that was his resting place and they wouldn't take that away from the girls. Just like they hadn't asked them to move bedrooms or share with anyone.
Jason looked around his room and grinned widely, all thoughts of the children and mans death long gone. His beautiful wife was sat on their bed in her pajamas. She was still the most beautiful thing he knew of. She was his life after all. Sure, they had the children, but the weren't really theirs, they were just looking after them and standing in for now, but Nelly, Nelly was his and his alone. He bounced over to the bed and sat behind her, his head in the crook of her neck. "Hello beautiful." He grinned and kissed his wife's neck softly, the way she liked it.
