Closed Next Year, Black Ties

Simon felt almost bittersweet about this being his last Yuleball, he was keen once he left school to find more about some black tie events that he and Charlotte would be able to attend he didn’t want to lose the ability to go to events like the yuleball, where she would wear a beautiful dress and they would spend the night feeling superior. They would spend the evening dancing, and having a good time. The head boy had put on his best suit, ensuring that it was well pressed and fitted him perfectly, since he knew next to her, he would always look like he’d climbed out of bed ten minutes before. Simon didn’t mind waiting for her, in fact he’d specifically come to the great hall early, to make sure he was there before she was. He was stood perfectly still smiling and greeting some of the students as they passed, mostly he just couldn’t wait for Charlotte to appear and for him to be in awe of her beauty. It would be a good final night. They only had two balls left before the end of their schooling, and Simon was determined to make the most of them, and for them to just have a good time while doing so. ​

Charlotte was so excited for tonight. She had found the most amazing dress ever. And it suited her well. She felt grown up not a girl anymore but a woman. She was ready to meet Simon and have an amazing night together. Their last Yule Ball, but gladly not their last dance at Hogwarts. And not the last time they would see eachother. It wasn't that dramatic, but still the blonde hoped it would be perfect tonight. But she knew Simon was for sure. Simon would wait for her ofcourse she needed more time to get her dress and all done. Simon didn't seemed to need much he was always so perfect.. The blonde made her way to the Great Hall and than she spotted her own red head. And he looked amazing and they were both just perfect she knew. She made her way over to him and smiled. '' Excuse me. Are you free for a dance?'' She than asked with a grin. Teasing him a bit. And looked at him smiling.

Simon met her gaze with a little smile, unable to stop his look of affection for her, she was so incredibly beautiful, she was so magic and wonderful. He knew they had danced around each other for a few years, and how fun that had been, but it was even better to just be with her. Even better was actually being with her, with being the one to hold her arm as she walked into the hall, being the one to show her off. She was so beautiful to him. More beautiful than anyone he’d ever seen. He schooled his face a little, not wanting to give her so much satisfaction with how she tended to make him feel. He smirked at her words, ”No, I’m waiting for this beautiful blonde Slytherin girl whose just stunning, and she and I will be dancing together,” he joked with her but he was smiling at her, and he held out his arm to her in spite of the joke, since he really just wanted to get down to dancing with her, taking her the middle of the dance floor and just showing her off to everyone in sight. He wanted to show her off, she deserved to be shown off. Deserved for everyone to see how beautiful she was. ​

Charlotte grinned as her boyfriend responded at her. He just knew what to say to make her feel like the most pretty girl in the world. He made her feel like the queen. It was something her father always had did too, but this was different ofcourse. Simon was her king and she felt really happy being with him. '' But here she is. And all for you.'' Charlotte gave Simon a kiss on his mouth and than took his arm to go dancing. And walked to the dancefloor. And looked around her for a moment. Smiling at the couples around her, but she knew her headboy was the most pretty of them all. They were together. And a bright future ahead for them. '' You look handsome as always. We have to go to events after school. So we can still dress up like this.'' The blonde than said smiling as she danced.
