The Quidditch match had saddened Cyrus more than he had expected. He had been so hopeful for this year, but in just a few minutes they had lost their first match and were out of the running for the Quidditch cup. Unless something extraordinary happened, but it was extremely unlikely. The game had only lasted a short while, but Cyrus had managed to lose the quaffle in that time. It would probably be written about in the next HM issue as the only noteworthy thing he did this Quidditch season. It sucked. He had headed to the pitch for some extra practice, or at least to fly around, but he had kind of lost the will for it by the time he was actually at the pitch. Instead of taking to the air, he sat down on the alternate bench and stared at the pitch. Maybe this whole Quidditch thing wasn't for him.
