Owen didn't like this. He didn't like this place, and his heart still ached- he'd lost his family in a car accident two years ago but he still missed his parents and his little brother. And now... well, now he was getting adopted. The thought alone terrified him. Owen didn't like this place, but he'd kinda made some friends- even if they were ones that tended to come and go just and fast. He knew it was his own fault. A lot of people were put off by him. He was skittish and scared of everything. No adults wanted to deal with that. At least, until now. He'd met Zeke and Dominic a few times now. They were... nice enough. Maybe too nice. Owen had his bags packed... a bit reluctantly. And now... now he was pacing in the lobby, twisting his hands in front of him and oblivious to the world. What if they had wild animals near their house? Or they didn't cook food safely? Or they didn't have a properly built house and it collapsed with him inside it? Owen chewed on his lip, the circle he was pacing in growing tighter with each pass.
