Libby had recently been pulled out of Hogwarts by her family, and in the hope of being able to continue magic her only option was to join Durmstrang. She knew she would be alright, she had more friends here than she did in Hogwarts, although it was strange, leaving behind a prefect post, and a common room she'd been with for five years.
Durmstrang was alot more different than she'd expected, and now as she walked the corridors, she hoped she would find someone, anyone, to talk to. She had no idea where she was.
She'd spoken to Zavier about Hogwarts and how she didn't really like that fact she felt lonely, and hoped that they would too be able to get closer. It was difficult only seeing a friend in the holidays.
Her brother had moved with her. It was Libby who'd chosen to follow. She couldn't stand the idea of living with her grand-parents, away from magic. She hadn't finished, and still planned a career in astronomy.

Zac was extremely worried about a sister of his who was in Durmstrang. Beauxbaton was so much better for her, he knew the school was safe there unlike Durmstrang who taught their students dark arts. And after realizing that the Watanuki were psychopaths, Zac became more worried. He knew the school was far from safe for his sister and he was making sure that he was going to tell his parents about this. And somehow, he missed Veronica too, an ex of his who ended up as friends with him. Crazy things happened this year, some were good and some weren't.

Zac quickly took his robes and walk down to the common room and slam himself to the couch. The place was abandoned, he needed to clear his mind. He had been sleeping the whole day being upset of everything. He then stood up leaving the common room and start walking around the castle. The castle was slightly quiet at this time, it used to be crazy. He walk toward the north and spotted a girl walking all alone in the corridor, it was quite odd to see girls walking by themselves these day. Since most of them were with their groups. "Hey" He greeted her from the far and walk toward her. "You're new here?" He hadn't seen her a lot so it was either she was a loner of Zac was a loner or the girl was new.

Libby turned her head to see a boy taller than her coming towards her. She gave him a friendly smile back. "Hey," she replied, this had been only the second person from Durmstrang she'd ever met. She knew she would have to start making friends, or she would fall way back. She admired someone who had the courage to walk up to strangers, but then she wondered if she was doing something wrong, something that he wanted her to do. She looked around her before grinning back up at him.

"I'm Libby" she heard herself say, suprized at her own confidence. Even at Hogwarts she hadn't exactly been the easiest person to talk to. She hoped this boy would be nice, not one that was trying to bully her into anything. There was no one else in the corridor and she wasn't sure if that was such as good thing, yet. You could never know in strange places. One person may well turn out to be completely different.

Zac smiled at the girl when she introduced her self as Libby. "I'm Zac" He felt stupid for not introducing himself in the first place, he had heard that it was rude for not introducing himself. But he was walking anyway, he couldn't shout his name at her. That would be awkward, and if he wasn't lucky, girls would start calling him a market person. "So Libby... Why are you all alone here?" Again, most girls would walk with their groups of friends in Durmstrang. Libby seemed to nice to be one of those independent girls who would cast a spell on random people. "These corridors are dangerous-ish you know" He let out a small chuckle not knowing if that word exist or not. "Most students practice dark arts here, and if you're not lucky, they'll make you as their victim" His voice turned into a serious tone. He was scared of those innocent girls who would be tortured by other students, including his sister.

Libby smiled at his kindness. He obviously cared about the girls in this school and their safety. She wondered whether he was trying to protect someone younger himself, and felt as though he should for all younger girls. "I'm new" it would explain why she wasn't with anyone else. "I don't actually know any girls at this school yet." she said truthfully. She gave a small laugh when he mentioned the corridors were dangerous. "Its fine. No one would dare come near me" She tapped lightly on the side of her robe, where her wand was hidden. The durmstrang robes looked strange on her, she wasn't used to wearing maroon. "I'm a fifth year. I used to be a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts New zealand," she continued, wondering what the harm would be in telling him. "A prefect" she added. It was a title she'd been sad to leave, but she knew she wasn't happy at that school. "What about you? Why are you on your own? And what year are you?" she secretly hoped they were the same, that way she'd known more people in her classes.

Zac shook his head and look at Libby in the eyes "You have no idea Libby... Even though you have a wand beside you, they'll still slam you to the wall or cast a spell to you with magic." He had seen those crazy students who tried to kill others with magic and without, it was quite scary for him. "Wow...! A prefect" He said in awe, Zac was never the type of boy who would finish his homework in time, lately he had been doing that but he used to be one of those students who pull pranks to the professor and burn the homework without being caught. But since the broke up, Zac had changed, he was a little more sensitive and was into learning, and secondly his friends moved to Hogwarts so he couldn't pull pranks with them. "My sister's in 5th year, I can introduce you to her if you want. She wont mind her own business though, apologize for that" He chuckle. "6th year for me, what about you?" He asked randomly. "Well... Hey! I don't know why I'm on my own" Usually Scipio or Veronica would come over but he couldn't find them. "I can't find my friends. Maybe I can introduce you to them" He smiled at her.

Listening to what Zac had to say, Libby wondered what kind of crazy student roamed this halls. She hoped if did run into them she would have the brains to get herself out of a tricky situation. "I would love to meet your sister and your friends" she grinned, she liked Zac already. It made her think of her own sister, "I have Natalie. But she's only three" she laughed softly, mainly to herself. "I live with my older brother Tobias, though he doesn't go to school anymore. And my younger brother Cedric, he went to Hogwarts too, but now he lives with our grand-parents in Italy." only now did she realize how comlicated things where.
She looked to the floor, her hair falling over her face breifly, reminding herself not to waffle. Looking back up, she leant backwards slightly, leaning her elbows on the windowsill. She studied Zac's face. He was kinda beautiful. At that thought she felt herself slightly blush, and she turned away to look down the corridor. "I guess i'm lucky not to have fallen into the wrong crowd then" she smiled, before turning back to him, "And then maybe that's a reason we should stick together".

Zac was interested in the girl, especially after knowing that she had a lot of siblings. "Well I only have a sister, and she's my half sister. Her mother passed away when she was very little, she lives with my mom tho. And good thing that my mom treats her like her own daughter even tho Sally's a little cheeky" He chuckle. "Yeah that's her name" He winked and smiled. "Although I will be happier if she's not my half sister but 100% my biological sis" He let out a small laugh remembering the picture that hung in his dorm. "Yeah of course! Join the group" He was sure that his friends would love to meet Libby, since they weren't like the Watanuki. He couldn't imagine if he ended up being one of those violent-type of lad. "So Libby... How do you like Durmstrang so far? My sister had been complaining about the uniform, a lot of girls especially those who were transferred from Beauxbaton whined about the uniform" He had met a lot of girls who had been whining about eh uniform.

Libby nodded, "Most people find it strange there's a 18 year difference between my eldest and youngest." she said, looking up at him. "I don't think Cedric will be coming here though. He's decided to go to a muggle school." she finished, choosing to let him speak. "I heard Durmstrang teaches dark arts" she said, wondering if this was true. She hoped if she was going to come across a bunch of roudy students they wouldn't know things she'd never even heard of before.

"Durmstrang is...alot different." she smiled, "It feels darker. I imagine something like Beauxbatons would feel the opposite, but even just the uniform makes everything seem a little, dull" she said. She'd learnt a while ago to say what she felt. "I think being dark can be fun though. You get away with alot more" she grinned.

Zac laughed as Libby said that being dark could be fun. He had heard that from a lot of students but they knew nothing about the those student who got T in dark art class. "Yeah... They teach dark arts here" He shrugged, it wasn't a big deal. He got them every week anyway, even though he didn't admire the dark arts. "Believe me Libby... You don't wanna mess with those students who got T's in dark arts class or those students who become the dark arts teacher's pet" He let out a small chuckle. Zac had never been to Beauxbaton before, but he knew what the castle looked like, Sally used to go there and she used to described the place for him. It was so much different than Durmstrang, and the students were also different as well. "You'll see one of those psychopaths here, maybe you get to see them today" He nudge her playfully. "They're always at the abandoned corridors trying to find a victim" He pretended to be scared and laughed.

Libby pondered over the ideas of what she would do should she run into these groups. When he referred to them as finding a "victim" she suddenly wasn't sp thrilled about the idea. She looked towards Zac, and wondered if he was the type to stand up for himself, or run. It reminded Libby of something she'd done in her first year. And about her old friends. It had been months since she'd last thought about Darren. He had been the hardest thing to get out of her mind, and had only really succeded when she'd met Zav. A sudden thought of whether Zac was with anyone crossed her mind, although she felt she didn't know him well enough to ask. She tried to change the subject, although her mind was still else where. "What do you mean, T?" back at Hogwarts she'd never heard of T as a grade.

Zac blushed in embarrassment when Libby asked him what T was. "I mean O for outstanding, if you've been to muggle school then O is the same as A" He said shyly, it was a little awkward for a lad to act like this. "Sorry, I'm not that good around people" Especially since the break up with Veronica, Zac had changed a lot. He had been spending his time in the library a lot which was a miracle really. He knew that his father would be impressed with his work, he used to be grounded a lot by his mother but not anymore. "So how's Hogwarts? My sister had always wanted to go to Hogwarts New Zealand but my parents would never allow her to go there. I don't know why really, Durmstrang is far more dangerous than Hogwarts. Maybe I'm transferring to Beauxbaton soon so that my sister could come along and she'll be safer there" He shrugged. Sally was his priority, he couldn't imagine losing his sister only because of these lunatics in the school who had been targeting on some people. Zac hadn't seen a lot of students from Hogwarts. Zac was a little worried about Libby being in this school especially after knowing that she was a Hufflepuff. He knew that Slytherins were ambitious and cunning so they could fight those crazy students whenever they want. But again, he knew a little about Hogwarts. Not that much.

Libby smiled as Zac almost began to stumble on his words. She wasn't going to make fun of a mistake, she wasn't that sort of person. "You know you shouldn't be worried about me. Or your sister" she added. In a few months Libby was going to turn seventeen, and therefore become of age. She knew spells, in defence and attack, and she was confident in her skills. "You say she's in my year. I can help look after her" she shrugged casually. She knew it would probably sound strange, although she knew what it was like to be an older sibling. "Hogwarts is good. The houses are very stereotyped though. I have a few friends from each." she said, remembering how Jacob had had the personality of someone that didn't belong in Slytherin. Libby wanted to know more about his sister, but she wasn't sure what to ask.

Zac didn't really mind having someone else protecting his younger sister, he knew that Sally could take care of herself but he couldn't trust his sister's skill even though he had to. "That'll be awesome" He smiled and stretched his arms to the air as he walked beside Libby. "Stereotypical? To be honest, I know nothing about Hogwarts, I'll have to ask my younger siblings. I think they're going there soon but I'm not sure" He smiled at her, Vivian and Brad were going there but it was either Beauxbaton or Hogwarts so he wasn't sure about that. "Hey wanna sneak out to the village?" He hadn't been sneaking out for a very long time, he used to ran to the village and pull pranks to the professors with his friends, but his friends were no longer in Durmstrang. They were transferring to Hogwarts, which made Zac sad.

Libby smiled as he found her suggestion a good one. When he wasn't sure about the stereotypical houses, she tried to explain. "Well, the students from Slytherin, they can often be found to be, quite mean, the ones you wouldn't go to in a crisis" she laughed, remembering Larissa. "Ravenclaw's, they're smart. Gryffindor's, lots of them are quite cheeky rather than brave actually." Libby thought she would have done well in Gryffindor, though she knew her mother would have been furious. "And then there's Hufflepuff." she looked at him, "Where i'm from. The tend to be the most friendlest i guess" she said. She was glad things at Durmstrang wern't the same. It sucked not being able to go where some of your friends were.

When he mention sneaking off to the village, Libby's eyes suddenly lit up. "I'd love to" she grinned. She had yet to explore the grounds, let alone the near-by village. She hadn't been in trouble from a school ether since her first year, and even though she was a prefect, she wasn't going to let that stop her having fun.
