with a loud, beeping sound that rang in ones ears, valkyrie's day had begun just as it usually did. she was livid that it would interrupt her peaceful state. usually the woman woke with the sun but this morning she wanted to hide herself under her pillow and never return from her shame of performing a sin with the very man that had insulted her for not acting as a black widow and murdering after copulation. but there was something different about this act, it was an act between twin souls with only twenty-three years of a difference to separate their experiences. but in general they were the same; they had both been shamed by their children and would be on a daily basis until one of them died, they both had lost a partner to idiocy, they both lived to kill and torture, and they both cared little for anyone but themselves and their 'struggle' towards purification of the wizarding race. marcus had given her a gift, one that had been like nothing she had ever received and it just happened to be the best gift she would have ever been offered. it made her wish to do the same for him and his ex-wife - if only she knew what the blood traitor's name was. it would be a wonderful gift for the two to each other. it represent their hearts and how cold and dark they were. and yet, with their dark hearts everything had been lusty and hot the night before. they had attacked one another with kisses after the initial one that she remembered automatically regretting then forgetting that regret all together. valkyrie and marcus tongues had swirled together as their hands explored a new figure, it was all perfect and even in the morning when she was most hateful she wrapped her arms around marcus and rested her head on his chest, enjoying the warmth of his body as she slid her lids over her eyes to return to sleep. she only hoped that this would not end up with a mistake like her awful daughter, vera, because she detested children and although it would be a powerful child if she and marcus finch had one, she would have to go through birth which wasnt exactly the happiest time of her life. it was surprising to her that women said that giving birth was magical and amazing when she just wanted to explode and kill everyone in the room, including the child. however, this was not the case so she just enjoyed herself with the older man.
valkyrie found that she was not able to drift back to sleep so she looked up at marcus, hoping that he was awake because she wanted to tell him that she was going to get a coffee so that her day could start and so he wouldnt think that she just left like a common wh0re. she respected him and knew it would not be wise to insult him as such. this was why she kissed his lips, trying to rouse him from his slumber. her hand rested on his cheek as she looked at the strong features of his visage and how vulnerable they looked as he slept. it was a strange sight but in some way, it made him seem more human and how he could be able to accept that she had made that mistake with avery so many years ago.
