Hadan had written a letter to her father, Chavdar, and was smiling faintly to herself, which was barely noticeable upon her cold face. Her red eyes narrowed when she spotted Chavdar's owl already waiting in the window. Her black robes swished around her pale body as she made her way to the owl. She set her letter to the ledge of the window, and wondered what was wrong to have contacted her like this. It was always her first.

She took the letter from the owl's leg, and opened it. Her red eyes scanned, it, and her pale lips parted slightly in shock. She reread the letter at least fifteen times in order the news to finally settle in.

Letter said:
Dearest Hadan,
I have come with some rather shocking news. You see, please understand that I have been in a relationship with a woman for a long time, and we have kept it secret for a while. It was because of family reasons, so understand it. I am happy, and no one has gotten hurt either. Thanks to family, actually. Hadan, I want you to brace yourself for the next part. I know what you have gone through.
I am having a child with the woman I am seeing. It was a shock for the both of us, and we have decided to keep it. This was a decision from both of us, and I promised to be there as a father, as well as being there for you. I won't love one more than the other, and I hope that you will understand that.
Love Chavdar

Hadan crumpled her letter written to Chavdar into a wad of parchment. How she wished she knew how to set it aflame. However, she did not. Hadan ripped the letter Chavdar had written to her. Hadan closed her eyes, as her fury built. How could Chavdar be so careless? Chavdar knew about her past, and he dared to have another child in the house that was his? She was supposed to remain the only child. Especially after the hell she went through with losing Tamara.

*smirk*

Abbey had been reading the family tree, when she saw that Hadan was on it, connected to some man who was tied with her Aunt. She smirked when she saw that she was pregnant. She found it highly amusing, and wished she could have been there when Hadan recieved the news, just to see her face. It would amuse her to no end.

But this thought fell from Abbey a day or two later when she had recieved a letter from her cousin Hayden. And decided to skip on over to the Owlrey to write him back. She hadn't seen him in a little while and missed him terribly so she wanted to see if they could catch up some time during the summer. As she arrived, she spotted Hadan and she smirked. "Hey cousin," she laughed. It was clear from her face that she recieved the news.

couldn't think of anything to write but I also couldn't pass this up

Hadan continued to rant in her mind, wanting to release her anger out on something, someone. She heard a dreaded voice, and she whirled around. Her hair flowed around her shoulders, and her crimson red eyes flamed as she stared at the violet-eyed girl in front of her. Hadan noted what she had called her, and she hissed, "I refuse to be related to filth like you. I am so glad Chavdar isn't my real father." It was obvious that she did not want to be bothered, not now.

She walked over to the window, her back on Abbey. Hadan glared down at the lake. She closed her eyes, as they darkened to a color darker than blood. Hadan whispered, ust loud enough for that girl to hear, "I don't want to be bothered. Leave." Hadan had her posture straight, and her muscles tensed. As much as she hated the news, she still showed no weakness, and she wasn't blind with rage either. She was calm, collected, which could change extremely easily.

Abbey shrugged off what Hadan said, it truly was not important to her. She just strolled over to the table by the owl cages and took out a piece of parchment and a quill. "I'm free to be here just as you are,"she shrugged as she began writing back to her cousin, Hayden.
Dear Hayden,

It's nice to here from you Hayden. School has been rather stressful, I'm done with the drama at Hogwarts New Zealand. It was less complex at Hogwarts Scotland. We should meet up some time when you come by next.

Love,

Abigail.
Abbey folded the letter gently and gave it to an owl and said, "Send this to Hayden Kerberos at Durmstrang." She didn't watch as the owl flew off, she turned around and leaned against the table smugly. Finding Hadan's frustration in this situation amusing. "Don't mean to pry, well actually I do, why does it matter if Chavdar and Rosaline are having children?" she asked bluntly.

Hadan managed to keep her anger cool, just long enough to go do some training after she leaves this place. She needed to write to Dietrich, but she didn't want to, not while Abbey was here. She had gotten extremely close to the lad when she did her time at Durmstrang. Hadan heard the question, and gave Abbey a sharp look. "That is no business of yours." Hadan's past was not in the Family tree, thanks to Asparuh's magic. She owed him that. She wanted no one to know about what she had gone through. Chavdar and Dietrich were enough. Hadan stared at the floor, her boots shifted slightly.

Abbey shrugged her shoulders and said, "Suit yourself." Could always bring up what Hadan mentioned about her sister, she thought smugly. "I can only assume it has to do with what you mentioned of your sister," she smirked, awaiting Hadan's response, which she assumed would be rather violent. Truthfully, Abbey didn't care that she could be hurt, and would be amused that Hadan was so emotional about all of that.

Hadan narrowed her eyes at Abbey. She approached the girl, and got relatively close, or rather, it was a dangerous situation if Hadan was this close. Hadan whispered, "Stay out of it, or else." Hadan did not move from her spot. Hadan stared at the girl for a moment, and added, "Don't make me resort to what I had to do last time to keep your mouth shut." How much she hated to have someone like Abbey related to her. However, she would make a fabulous tool to simply take her anger out on. However, Hadan did not have a reason to hate or fight Abbey, not right now at least. She had already taken care of the whole her-and-Asparuh event.

"Tisk, tisk," she said with a shake of her head as Hadan threatened her. "How very unimaginative, Hadan," she said cooly, amusement was held in her voice, but her eyes were locked onto Hadan's, returning the look she was getting, but in a mocking fashion. "It's a shame you aren't powerful enough to actually use magic to try and harm someone," she laughed. "But then again, you are older then over ninety per cent of the second years, and probably failed, so why would you be powerful enough," she added smirking.

lame ^^

Hadan smirked slightly, "Ah, but only those who are weak and fragile resort to magic. Whereas I know both." Hadan decided that she wanted to play around, magic wise or not. Swiftly pulling out her wand, she murmured, "Locomotor Mortis!" It was a spell to freeze a person's legs together. Without much time inbetween the spell, Hadan used her martial arts to send an uppercut in Abbey's direction, going straight to the jaw. Hadan's strength was enough to send the small girl flying in the air. Hadan informed, "Actually, I was pulled out of Durmstrang in the middle of my second year, due to my mother before she died. Unfortunately, you wouldn't know what having a mother would feel like."

Abbey rolled her eyes and crossed her arms against her chest as Hadan mentioned something about knowing both magic and physical violence. But as she was rolling her eyes, she didn't hear a spell being conjured at her, but once she felt her legs bind together, and her knees buckle, she just glared at Hadan, not letting anything get onto her expression aside from that.

Just as Abbey was about to open her mouth to say something she noticed Hadan's arm move towards her so she rolled her eyes and stiffened to prepare herself for the pain that was to come. Normally people would defend themselves, but Abbey didn't care, it only made Hadan look more like a freak of nature, and her like an innocent girl, not that she really was one.

"Unfortunately, you wouldn't know what having a mother would feel like."

Abbey's stinging mouth fell open, ignoring the dripping blood, and a single tear fell down her cheek before she wiped it away roughly. "Don't you mention her! You loathsome, mudblood!" she spat. "You don't have the right to even think of my mother," she sneered. As anger built inside of the small girl, her eyes buldged slightly, and a vain in her neck appeared and her cheeks turned a darker pink from anger, as if she was about to explode.

Hadan bent down over the girl, and after the insult, she punched the girl in the face, aiming for the nose. It had enough force to break it, hopefully. Hadan placed her other hand on the girl's throat, like before, pinning her to the ground. Hadan made sure the girl could barely breathe. Hadan retorted, "I descended from the Zhefarovich's from another branch of the family. A mudblood is not what I am, learn your facts you b!tch." Hadan put her wand away, and smirked slightly, "I'll stop mentioning your stupid parents as soon as you show enough respect to me and my sister."

Hadan stood up once more, giving the girl a kick in the side, hard. She hissed, "Magot, you don't even deserve to be at in the worthy house of Slytherin, or even in Hogwarts. No one wants you. No one cares about you. No one pities you, go back to the orphanage. No one wants to hear about your pathetic past and your stupid excuse for a life. Play victim a bit more profesionally, because that act you pull now is easy to see through." Hadan turned and went down the staircase, vanishing from view, only to go to where she wants to and relax.

[poor Abbey, though she did instigate it.. ]

Abbey didn't wince, and didn't acknowledge the harsh pain she had recieved from the contact of Hadan's fist to her nose. She ignored that it was most likely broken, she just glared at the dumb albino that was trying to choke her. It seemed that she had now become immune to this pain, she had blocked it all out, but she was a decent enough actress that she could - and probably would - go find a Professor or even her Aunt and could go cry to them about how much it hurt.

"..Go back to the orphanage."

Abbey didn't wince or wimper any time as she was getting physically hurt, because that was the only blow that could really hurt her. It was her memories. "No," she murmured shakily, as she placed one hand on the cold, blood filled ground, and pushed herself up, still not able to walk because of the spell Hadan had casted on her. She looked around, to see that Hadan was already gone, and she swore under her breath.

After a few moments of loud, booming thoughts Abbey was certain that Hadan was far away enough that she could call for someone to get her out of this spell. She didn't have her wand with her so she couldn't do it herself, not to mention that she really didn't know what spell she had used so she didn't think it would work. "Hello?!" she boomed.

Zazuka was passing by the Owlry. She still hadn't decided weather or not she was going to write back to this Alex person but she was starting to think that it would be so bad. She walked half way up the stares quill and parchment in hand then thought better of it then thought better of thinking better. It was a constant batter with herself thies days. She was just about to walk away when she heard a voice from the top of the Owlry. Hello!?

They sounded like they where in trouble. Zazuka ever ready to help raced up the stares and looked down at the girl. Abbey, Zazuka remebered now. They had met a while ago but never seemed to have spoken again. She looked banged up. "Good heaven what happened to you?" She asked as she tried to pick Abbey up. There was a good chance that this girl needed to go to the hospital wing.

Abbey looked over as she heard someone scurry up the steps. "Good heaven what happened to you?" She took the girl's hand, graciously, and then when standing she spluttered, "Someone hit me a few times, nothing bad." She shrugged her shoulders, as if she was trying to play brave, but her eyes began to water from the pain that was in her nose. She hadn't felt it from her adrenaline, but now that Hadan had left, she was free to feel physical pain.

"Do you think you could help me get rid of Locomotar Mortis, Zazuka?" she asked, now remembering the girl's legs. "I seemed to have left my wand in my dorm," she explained politely. As Abbey waited for Zazuka's response she wiped the blood that was pouring out of her nose and into her mouth, with the sleeve of her white shirt.

Zazuka nodded. "Of course." She said taking wand out of her pocket and muttering "finite" at Abbey's legs. Hoping they would spring apart. "There is nothing small about it either. Muggle dueling is forbidden at Hogwarts as it is outside the dueling chamber. Come now we have to get that nose looked at." She said shaking her head. Abbey looked so fragile but then again so did Zazuka and she knew how to defend herself when she needed to. With magic of course. Thin and willowy did not make for an overly strong body.

Still Zazuka didn't understand why anyone would try and hurt such a girl. "Tell me what happened." She said her eyes sparkling with consurn behind her glasses. She hoped she could sence what happened here but so much happened in the Owlry that the emotions where jumbbled making Zazuka like radio picking up static radar picking up a ship. "Not many walk about the halls without thier wands. It seem that as time goes by a wizard grows attached to his wand." She said telling Abbey what she had observed.

Abbey smiled as Zazuka let her legs free. She bent over carefully and rubbed her sore knees as she said, "Thanks." When standing up straight she tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and bit her lip cautiously when Zuka told her to tell her what happened. Knowing that the Ravenclaw was a Prefect, she decided that she should tell her what happened. "Well, my Aunt was recently found out to be pregnant, and this girl, we fought before, months before though," she tried to explain. "I said something I regret, but her response was a little... dramatic," she sniffled, wiping her nose tenderly.

"Long story short, the girl dislikes me, and now we're related through the baby," she finished, flashing Zazuka a bloody smile. Remembering now, that the Ravenclaw had said that they had to go to the Hospital Wing she shook her head gently. "I'm not going to the Hospital Wing," she said firmly. She would not be moved from this. Abbey was stubborn, just like her father, and she was afriad of going to the wing, because it reminded her of going to the muggle hospital, after she had ran away from her orphanage.

Zazuka was listening well while checking in the bag she was carrying. She was right. She had handkerchief in her bag. "And she was angry over that? Well this may not be someone you want to anger in the future. At least let me clean you up, you look a mess from the fight. I assure you that the proper authorities will be adviced if you just tell me a name." She said as she wiped Abbey's lips more with the handkerchief. While she was doing that she was running thought the library of spells she had in her head to see if she had a simple healing spell handy. It was getting hard to know which spells she could perform and which she had yet to learn.

Abbey was thankful for Zazuka now, although she wasn't hurt all that bad. "Oh I don't think so, if I want to keep her.. happy, it probably wouldn't be the smartest to tell on Hadan," she said, pretending that the name had just slipt out. Her eyes widened for effect, and her cheeks flushed in embarasment. Boy I am good, she thought as she averted her gaze sheepishly. She was good at acting, lying not so much, but this wasn't lying, was it?

Zazuka dark star studded eyes met Abbey's as she was cleaning her up. They sparkled as always behind her glasses but the way that they did seemed to tell that Zazuka knew more was going on than Abbey was telling. If Zazuka did know she wasn't saying anything. "You don't have to be afraid. I can just say that I did a bit of detective work." She said with a pleasant smile on her face. She cleaned what she could with her wand though she realized that the spell that she was thinking off was a seventh year spell. Zazuka could kill herself trying to work a spell that far beyond her ability.
