Hadan had written a letter to her father, Chavdar, and was smiling faintly to herself, which was barely noticeable upon her cold face. Her red eyes narrowed when she spotted Chavdar's owl already waiting in the window. Her black robes swished around her pale body as she made her way to the owl. She set her letter to the ledge of the window, and wondered what was wrong to have contacted her like this. It was always her first.
She took the letter from the owl's leg, and opened it. Her red eyes scanned, it, and her pale lips parted slightly in shock. She reread the letter at least fifteen times in order the news to finally settle in.
Hadan crumpled her letter written to Chavdar into a wad of parchment. How she wished she knew how to set it aflame. However, she did not. Hadan ripped the letter Chavdar had written to her. Hadan closed her eyes, as her fury built. How could Chavdar be so careless? Chavdar knew about her past, and he dared to have another child in the house that was his? She was supposed to remain the only child. Especially after the hell she went through with losing Tamara.

Letter said:Dearest Hadan,
I have come with some rather shocking news. You see, please understand that I have been in a relationship with a woman for a long time, and we have kept it secret for a while. It was because of family reasons, so understand it. I am happy, and no one has gotten hurt either. Thanks to family, actually. Hadan, I want you to brace yourself for the next part. I know what you have gone through.
I am having a child with the woman I am seeing. It was a shock for the both of us, and we have decided to keep it. This was a decision from both of us, and I promised to be there as a father, as well as being there for you. I won't love one more than the other, and I hope that you will understand that.
Love Chavdar
