Jerrod looked at the room he had spent the last few years living in. It was currently piled high with boxes full of all his personal possessions. He had moved homes many times in his life but this time it felt very different. He'd never felt upset when he had to move house before. He'd always felt like he had a new adventure ahead of him. He still did but he also felt like he was leaving a lot behind him. Not only had he lived here for many year - compared to the other houses which were all less than a year - but he was also moving away from his family for the first time. He'd been away from his mum and younger sisters while at Hogwarts but he'd never moved away from Lily. She was a massive pain in his arse but she was still his twin sister and he was going to miss the time they'd spent together.
Jerrod thought about the house him and Riley had bought. It was a beautiful house with a nice garden and it wasn't too far from the Green house. Of course, not that it mattered seeing as they could disapperate. Most of all, Jerrod couldn't wait to move in with Riley and start a life with the girl of his dreams. He was only young but he could already imagine spending the rest of his life with her and having her kids. He wasn't going to do that yet though. He wanted them to get settled first. Moving fast was a bad idea.

This was not something Riley ever thought she would do. Well, it was something that she was eventually planning on doing, but doing it so quickly frightened her. It was of course, exciting too. She loved Jerrod dearly, and the thought of moving in with him was wonderful. It also helped the cause that her parents had separated. She didn't really want to be around a moping dad, and she wasn't entirely sure where her mom was living. That being said, her mother and Riley would have had way too much conflict, with just the two of them living together.
The young graduate shook her head and laughed quietly at the number of bags she had brought to the new house. It was quite embarrassing, and she hoped Jerrod had brought just as many bags as her. The bottled-blonde had already unpacked most of her things, enjoying the freedom being out of school brought. The ability to use magic at home was exciting and comforting. Riley wanted everything to be perfect by the time Jerrod arrived, so that he didn't have to worry about anything. She stood by the bedroom window and stared out towards their beautiful garden, taking a moment to soak the happiness in.

Jerrod grabbed hold of a load of boxes ready to leave his bedroom. He'd already suffered the pain of Bella and Rosie goodbye to him. He loved them and hated the look on their faces as he was saying he was leaving. His mum had actually seemed pleased to say goodbye. Sam had always wanted lots of kids but that was when his dad was still alive. Since Dervish's death, she had struggled immensely and was probably glad that she now only had three kids to look after - one of which could look after herself.
Jerrod sighed one last time then disapparated with the boxes around him. He could see that Riley had already arrived. She had enough bags after all. He laughed to himself then rolled his eyes. "Are you still here??" He guessed that Riley wouldn't take to long to say goodbye to her dad. Loved ones splitting up with each other was something he'd never understood.
Jerrod walked up the stairs to search the rooms for Riley. He found her in the bedroom so he walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind then kissed her cheek and looked at the garden with her. "All of this is now ours." The thought of it was enough to make Jerrod grin like a Cheshire cat.

Riley heard Jerrod call out and her heart soared. Any doubts were quickly wiped away; she knew she had nothing to worry about with Jerrod around. The blonde laughed as she heard him ask if she was still there. "Where else would I be?" Riley yelled back. It was true though. Staying with her dad would have also been super lonely, what with him working weird hours at the Hospital. Riley supposed it would have given her lots of time to write songs, but with Jerrod around, there would be more inspiration.
Riley stayed where she was, letting Jerrod take his time getting his things ready. She wasn't sure how he would react to her new hair colour, but she loved changing it, and felt like it was a new start to life, so she changed along with it.
It didn't take the Slytherin graduate long to find his way up to Riley, and a warmth filled Riley's body as she felt Jerrod wrap his arms around her waist. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him tightly before pulling back and looking at him. His giant smile made her giggle, and the smile lingered on her face long after she stopped laughing. "Can you believe it Jerrod? I feel so grown up! We have our own house, and living on our own and stuff. I can't believe I'm doing this with you. It's so amazing." She grinned. Riley leaned forward and planted a light peck on Jerrod's lips. "Thank-you for this." The blonde smiled.

Jerrod hugged Riley close to him then smirked as she spoke "Don't thank me. It's mum who paid for it and she's paying for all bills until we get jobs." Sam did the same for all of her children. Though it had taken longer with Nick as he had moved to England while he was still in school and was unable to get a job with enough pay to own a house. "Though, just a warning, stay clear of Lily for a while. She's not happy about this at all. She wasn't even in the house for me to say goodbye to her before she left." Jerrod was upset about upsetting Lily but this is what he wanted to do. She should have realised that they were going to have move apart at some point in their lives. This was sooner than either of them had realised but if the roles were reversed Jerrod would have supported her, helped her packing and helped her move in. He was left with the silent treatment and her leaving the house all day, everyday.
"So, have you become so obsessed with me that you wanted the same hair colour??" He planted a cheeky grin on his face and waited for a playful slap or a retaliation comment. He ran his fingers through her soft hair as he admired the way it sparkled in the light. He'd always loved they way her hair sparkled. It was unnatural but stunningly beautiful. He had never understood why it sparkled but he wasn't going to complain about something he loved about her.

A small smile grew on the young blonde's face. She felt bad for Jerrod's mom having to pay for the house, and she vowed to herself that she would pay her back. Riley wouldn't feel right until she had. "Well, thank-you to your mom then. We're going to have to send her a gift basket or something. Definitely some flowers." Riley stated. "And we're going to have to pay her back soon, it won't feel like our own place until then! Have you found any jobs that you may fancy yet? I've already got a couple of gigs coming up with the band, paid ones too, I'm pretty excited about it!" She exclaimed. Riley frowned slightly when she heard what Jerrod said. She luckily hadn't run into Lily since a few years back, before Riley and Jerrod had even broken up; though she didn't like to think about that. Riley knew how close the twins used to be, and didn't find it fair that Lily reacted so badly. "I hate that Jerrod. I really hope you don't hate me for it. I feel terrible for tearing you two apart." Riley said sadly, her arms falling down to her sides. Riley hated fighting herself, and hardly got into many fights at school, so felt absolutely terrible for causing a fight between two people, especially someone that she cared about so much.
Riley giggled when Jerrod made his comment about her hair, and whacked him on the arm. "I am not that obsessed with you! Besides, I look better with blonde hair, and there is pink on the bottom." Riley said matter-of-factly, pointing to the bottom of her hair. She couldn't keep a straight face for long though, and it broke out in a smile when Jerrod ran his fingers through her hair. She giggled at him looking at her sparkles, before playfully shoving him slightly. "And I know that you are really just jealous that my hair sparkles, and yours doesn't!" She laughed.

Jerrod couldn't help but laugh. He knew exactly how his mum would react. "You can try if you want. My mum doesn't accept presents except for christmas and her birthday. She doesn't even allow them on mother's day." Jer was glad Riley was attempting to get on with Sam. Even if his mother would take forever to accept her. But he had known it would happen when he started going out with Riley and he didn't care. He loved Riley too much.
When Riley spoke of work he shook his head. "I'm not sure yet." He had been stuck with choice. "I want to work for the ministry but I wouldn't know where in the ministry and I want to work with Dervish but I'd get bored stacking bookshelves all day." On the upside, he'd be able to read what he wanted, when he wanted.
Jerrod shook his head. "It's fine. I've had loads of fights with her in the past because we're siblings. It's what all siblings do. We always work it out in the end." That was one thing he loved about his twin. No matter how much they fought, they were still related and loved each other. He would never hurt her and she would never hurt him. Eventually, Lily would get used to Jerrod and Riley living together.
Jerrod looked at the pink in Riley's hair as his finger ran through it and thought it best not to mention how much she now reminded him of Lily. After all, Lily had blonde hair with bright pink in. He was worried it would hurt her feelongs though. He liked her hair the way it was and not because it reminded him of Lily but because she was so pretty. He grinned at Riley as she pushed him away. He did a fake gasp and put a shocked look on his face. "How did you know of my eternal jealousy. After all, as you sparkle and I don't, there's no one to take male eyes away from you." Jerrod smirked at his false vanity and winked at her.
