Movin' Out

Ash couldnt help but chuckle as she admired his car. He had recieved the same reaction from every muggle boy and girl around here, plus most of the muggle fathers. The police hadnt been too happy with a seventeen year old driving something that clocked at 320km an hour, but then again, Ash hadnt recieved a single driving infraction, so they couldnt really do anything about it. Sliding into the driver's seat of the car, he smiled and watched Chloe run her hands over everything. "Leather seats, Navman GPS, eight-stack cd player, with surround sound and an upgraded sub in the back. Its my own personal heaven." he said, clicking the remote button, and waiting until the garage door was open to turn the car on. The soft pur of the car as it kicked to life was like music to Ash's ears.

He reversed down the driveway, and noticed his fathers limo was now home. "It seems father returned while we were upstairs." Ash commented, taking off down the street. He was doing the speed limit, but in this car, it help like they were gliding. "I used to just jump in the car and take off whenever father was going off at me. It seemed my only escape at times..." he said as they made their way through London. Ash pressed a button on the cd player and With Me by Sum 41 started playing softly. It had become Ash's favourite song as of late.

Chloe laughed and examined everything, eventually leaning on the window and observing everything. London wasn't a very familiar area to her, since her two houses were in France and Bulgaria. It was a different place from both, and it was interesting to see the different types of people. Even more, the muggle world was always a mystery to her, closed off after her father's death. Something occurred to her as he mentioned this car being his escape at times. "I think my father was like that, the only car I'd riden in was his." She still remembered it. It was a silver sports car, though she was too young to know the model. She just remembered the stains she left on the floor from drinking soda and then dropping it carelessly.

"And I'm pretty sure I used to live here with him. Maybe a different street." She smiled and bit her lip. London seemed to be almost comforting to her at this point. "You remind me of him sometimes, obviously not completely but..." Chloe looked at Ash and rubbed her head. "I'm sorry I'm rambling again aren't I?" Her mouth let out a small giggle, and she bit her lip once more. At that point she got quiet, just lost in old happy thoughts, enjoying the smooth ride and the new sights.

Ash grinned and placed his hand over hers. "No, i... I think you father sounds like a great man. I would have loved to meet him. Im sure i would have loved him." he said, smiling and squeezing her hand. He watched the muggles in the streets as they drove, the gentle hum of the car passing through the streets so quiet, if it hadnt of been the middle of the day, no one would have noticed it. Finally, he made a left turn, and after driving through a series of streets, they came out of London and into the vast countryside. After another ten minutes drive, Ash pulled into a newly done brick drive way, and after driving through the winding road, came out into a clearing, sounded by a circle of tree's. A small brick wall seperated the forest from the clearing, and there in the middle, sat there new house.

Well, house was an understatment, it was more like an estate, but when you were rich and muggle money didnt mean much to you, why not spend it on lifes comforts? "And here we are..." Ash said, turning the car off and getting out of the car. He had already had the movers bring his newly bought furnature and stuff here, and had already been by to inspect it. "What do you think?" he asked, grabbing the last box of stuff from the boot.

Chloe smiled and kissed his cheek at the comforting words, mind easing and body relaxing as well. Sometimes it just seemed as if Ash knew just what to say when it came to relaxing her. Though she found herself happy that the new house was in the country. After living in three cities, she had learned to appreciate the country where it wasn't so populated. Then you could make bonds with neighbors and actually form relationships that stuck. At the same time it wasn't such a small space that everyone knew your business. When she saw the new home, her jaw dropped and she sat in wonder at the size and of the whole magnanimity of the situation. That was going to be her house at some point, and as starters went, it was amazing.

"I... This is... I want to move in now, please." She grinned and got out, looking at the garden and at every minute detail of the yard work. It was all absolutely stunning. "Ash this is amazing, really. I couldn't think of a better place to live." In her excitement she ran over to him, jumping and giving him a tight hug. It wasn't so much the house anymore, it was that they were really moving forward in their relationship.

A large grin spread across Ash's face as he watched her expression change in a matter of seconds. He had kept Chloe in mind when he had drawn up the finishing plans, and the garden especially was something he thought Chloe would have liked. He hugged her tightly when she threw her arms around him, and kissed her on the head. "Im thinking i let you go on a shopping spree with my credit card, and ou can buy a whole new lot of stuff, so you only have to take the stuff you really need from home, so if you wanna go stay at home with your family one night, everything is still there." he explained, grinning at her. "Oh, and when you move in, im going to have to buy you are car... Its a fair walk into town from here, and really, why apparate when you can enjoy the view of the countryside?" he said with a smile, and as he grabbed her hand, led her in.

He knew where Chloe stood on what she wanted to do after school, but Ash wasnt so sure. He had Quidditch lined up for himself, but really, he just wanted to live a somewhat muggleish life. He chose to drive over apparation unless it was over long distances, and he rarely used his magic outside of school, seeming as he had been brought up by muggles, he didnt need to use magic all the time.

Ash opened the large wooden door, and took in a breath of air as they crossed over the threshold together for the first time. "Ive already furnished the place, but we can change anything you want." he said, and led her into the living room. "This is the living room. simple, yet elegant, like my mother taught me.' he grinned, and led on into the dining room. "Dining room, and through here is the kitchen." he said, leading on into the kitchen. "I wanted this room nice and homey..." he chuckled.

He then led Chloe upstairs, and straight into the upstairs entertainment room. "Okay, i'll admit i went all out with this one, but i just couldnt help it. I am a muggleborn, afterall." he said, chuckling as he looked at the giant tv. "Now there are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one down, plus the ensuite bathroom in our room, which is this one." he said, leading the way into the Master bedroom. "I couldnt help but jazz this up a bit too. There are also two spare rooms, both downstairs. And the study is just down the hall. I decided on the three space garage, cause i didnt know what would happen." he said, shrugging. "Anything you dislike?" he asked, embracing her and kissing her softly.

"Are you sure that's wise, considering that I can't drive and getting behind a wheel absolutely terrifies me?" Chloe smirked at him and looked in his eyes, curious glint in them as always. "And a shopping spree... You really know how to treat a woman, Ash." Even if she went shopping she probably wouldn't buy much. As much as she loved shopping she would feel too guilty over the fact that it was his credit card. Though shopping was at times quite therapeutic for everyone involved. She smiled and weaved their hands together, humming a little. "Why did any girl ever break up with you, you're perfect." If there was any flaw in Ash, Chloe wouldn't have noticed it by now. After all most say that people are blinded by love, and this was certainly accurate when it came to her.

Chloe had always thought that she'd end up with some pure-blooded snob of a man, solely because that's who her parents wanted her with. And yet life had thrown her a curve ball. She was with a muggle-born of all wizards, living in London (and quite comfortably.) And even more, she wasn't as selfish as she used to be. Now she didn't think of just herself, she thought of her and Ash instead.

She nearly led him in out of excitement, amazed that he'd even suggest changing a single thing. "Please. It's perfect the way it is." As she passed each room, she kept getting ideas about certain things to there. The dining room made her think about dinner parties and holiday dinners, the living room made her think of meeting with family friends and just every day relaxation, and then the kitchen just made her think of the first night that Ash and her had met. "The kitchen is absolutely stunning, Ash."

Chloe let out a laugh at the entertainment room, knowing that he probably would have gotten such a large T.V. to entertain himself. Of course she didn't mind, sometimes she would watch it herself. "The couch looks absolutely comfy." She then nodded to him at the mention of spare rooms and bathrooms both up and down the stairs. It would be perfect for people to stay over or to just come over in general. But at the mater bedroom, she was absolutely positively amazed. It was the perfect design, crisp and clean, everything that Chloe had wanted it to be. In her awe, she could only shake her head at Ash, smiling from ear to ear as she most often did with him.

Ash had to run hand through his hair and sigh at her comment. He was hardly perfect and that was the way he liked it. No one was perfect, the world was full of flaws, but that was just the way he liked it. No one could claim they were perfect, and no one could claim they were anything but perfect. It was a world of confusion, but one he lived with. "Well ive only ever had three girlfriends." he admitted to her. "Well three that lasted more than two weeks at least. And one of them spanned from my first year to my fourth. Puppy love some called it." he chuckled.

He felt proud of himself when she commented positively on all of the rooms, and the awestruck look on her face when they came to the master bedroom made him feel amazing. "I though the bedroom would be to your liking. I had the fireplace built so when it hits winter, we'll be nice and cosy. The walk in waredrobe is actually a room." he said, smirking at her. He walked over and opened the door, to show the half empty waredrobe. "I kinda figured you would want something big? And this way we can have a side each." he explained, and turned to smile at her. "So what do you think? How long until you'll wanna start shopping?" he said, grinning brightly. "And no argument with the shopping spree. When you have all this money, and your a wizard who doesnt use it often, there is no point having it sit there." he grinned, holding his arms out for a hug.

"Seriously?" Chloe blinked and followed him, a little taken back by his comment. After all three girlfriends wasn't that many and even so, she had guessed he was a little more experienced. "I mean the puppy love thing is absolutely cute because you were so young but for some reason I thought that you'd have more experience with women." She just smiled at him and held onto his hand and follow him. After all this was like a fairytale to her. But as for herself, she hadn't really had a serious relationship, well, there was one, but then it was just a messy break up and she hated to talk about it.

The young woman walked into the wardrobe, ecstatic at the size of it all. Even if she had half of it, there was more than enough room. Then she ran into Ash's arms and hugged him, resting on his chest and relaxing, "I think this is perfect, I don't care about when I go shopping, and you're amazing, and-" She grinned and then kissed him, showing how happy she really was. Usually she wouldn't initiate a kiss, mostly for the sense that she was traditional and generally liked when the man took romantic lead. Eventually Chloe broke from him and just hugged him, "You treat me so well, my parents will probably love you just from what I told them about you." In fact, for once her parents were interested in meeting her boyfriend, rather than in most situations where it was dreaded by all parties.

Ash raised an eyebrow at her, and couldnt help but grin. "Dear, i said three serious relationships... That doesnt mean that im unexperienced." he chuckled, and left it at that. He didnt much fancy going into his party boy days, sleeping with a new girl each week. It was something he, and especially his parents, were ashamed of. He sighed, hugging her deeply and not letting go for a while. He sunk into the smell of her hair, and found himself smiling as he hugged her. He was absolutely, unconditionally and unquestionably in love. And he loved it. He loved the fact that he had found the one, because that was what he believed she was, so early in life.

He pulled back from her, and studied her, as he played with her hair. He was glad she loved the house, and he was over the moon that she had agreed to move in. He felt extremely loved, and it had been a very long time since he had felt like this. "Now we just need to get through graduation, and survive telling your parents, and then the world will be ours." he said with a grin.

"I suppose that's true." Chloe shrugged, smiling and humming softly. One thing that possibly could be expected from her appearance was that she wasn't experienced much at all. In fact, she hadn't even gotten close to sleeping with someone, just maybe some heated kisses such as one from earlier that day. None the less, she tried to play off as if she knew what she was doing. At the same time if someone asked, she wouldn't lie about it. Her brother was more of the wild child and yet that seemed to not phase her in the least.

She rolled her eyes at him and sat down, not before taking off her shoes and placing them in the closet. "Well that, and I suppose I have to decide where I want to work. Wales or Romania or Somerset..." The location would mean a lot, mainly in the sense that some offered more than others in terms of research. "I'm thinking Romania."

Ash grinned and sat down next to her, taking his shoes of and flicking his wand at the fireplace. The wood caught fire, and soon they were sitting in a nicey heated room. It wasnt the best of days outside, and the eerie looks gave a sense of coldness to the place, but the fire battled it, and warmed the senses. "Yes, i suppose you should decide on that too..." he said as she mentioned where she was looking at being stationed. He didnt need to worry about all that, as his life was set out for him already, and that was the way he liked it. Planned and organised. He wrapped an arm around her, and watched the fire as he placed his head on her shoulders. "As long as we're together, nothing can stop us from reaching our dreams..." he said in a soft tone, watching the flickering flames.

Chloe smiled and enjoyed the warmth, wiggling her pedicured toes and smirking. Now that it had gotten a little worse out, this estate was seeming more and more like home. "Well the only trouble with that is the fact that I'd need to lean yet another language and I'm not sure if I have the time or patience for that." She already knew a couple of languages, and having another on her brain would just be too much for the poor young woman. She didn't want to think too much into that, however, and just grinned at her boyfriend, calmed simply by his optimism. "That's very true. After all you and I are both smart. And we know what we're doing in our lives... It'll be you and me for a while, and maybe if we're lucky some kids in the very, very, very distant future, hm?"

Ash chuckled and laughed when she complained about learning another language. He had only ever bothered to learn one other language, not thinking he would need it, and he still thought his decision was a good one. He had rarely been over seas, except for france of course, and seeming as he knew fluent french he was quite content with himself. He had been about to say something when she mentioned kids, and his mouth dropped slightly. He had just begone planning how he would propose to Chloe, and the mention of kids had him mind-blanked. And then he thought about it some more, and the thought of a little baby girl brought a smile to his lips. "Yes, i think i would like that... But a girl first, i think." he said with a grin. The thought of raising a boy worried him, and even worse, the thought of him being like his brother... Ash shivered.

"A girl?" Chloe smiled a little, picturing her in her head, eyebrows furrowing in thought. "What, no Ash Jr. running around then?" She wasn't preferential on what they would end up having, after all whatever was conceived was conceived. After all it was just up to science. She figured though, that there was an underlying reason and she didn't want to not know something about whom she hoped would someday be her husband. After all in relationships, from what her mother told her, there weren't supposed to be any big secrets. Sure, spending some money without consent was fine every now and then, but this was somewhat bigger. Her talent for reading people was evident in situations like this, and she wasn't going to give up that easily when it came to getting it out of him.

Ash chuckled and nodded, smiling at her. "Yes, a girl. I just..." he said, thinking about how to answer this properly. He didnt really know how to answer this, but decided to just go with it and see where his mouth took him. I was a girl first, because i think any daughter of yours would be absolutely adorable, and i want a child i will wantto cuddle for days." he said to her, grinning and blushing at the same time. "And besides, i dont want a son who might be like my brother." he chuckled.

Chloe watched him and nodded slightly, eyes narrowed not out of suspicion but mostly out of thought yet again. She always did put too much thought into things and for that reason things never seemed to work out just ask she planned. None the less her attention focused back on the blonde man and she shrugged a bit. "Cuddling is always good. But you haven't told me about your brother." She thought of her own and scowled a little. She was obligated to love him, so she did, but if they weren't related there would be no way on Earth that she would.
