Larissa crept inside the owlery, a small pink letter in her hand.
Pink had always discusted Larissa and she held as though afraid of catching some disease.
Larissa peeked over her shoulder; She was alone except for the hundreds of owls that now stared at her or priened themselves.
Larissa unfolded the letter, her eyes scanned it for several moments before her face became blank of any emotion.

Dear Larissa said:

Enquiries into your father's death in September have brought new evidence to light.
Davmorn was not the killer. Your father had met him moments before but Davmorn had then left seconds before your father was murdered by a fellow auror of mine.
This new evidence has been brought to light by the auror in question. He claims that he had mistaken Godric for one of his blackmailers, which, is still no reason to kill a man.
The auror has been taken to Azkaban after his trial.

I hope things are going well and that this does not upset you too much,
L.Sedgwick
The formality of her mother's letter was not the thing which shocked Larissa.
She knew who her mother had meant and she had never liked him. Now she had a good reason.
Larissa shook her head at the letter. She definately wanted this man dead now.

Libby posted her letter and saw Laris reading a letter with a strange expression on her face. "What is it?" she asked, walking slowly over to her. Whatever it was, it didn't look good.

Larissa looked up. For some reason she didn't want to see Libby, or anyone for that fact.
"It's about my dad," A cold edge bit her voice, "Davmorn didn't kill him, it was an auror." She looked up expressionless at Libby, waiting for a gasp or something.

"Oh. Do you know who it was? Which Auror i mean?" she asked calmly, not sure of what to do.

(oooo got idea)

Robert found what he was looking for, but supressed a sigh when there was nothing for him. "Hi Libz" he said, seeing her out of the corner of his eye. He turned to face her and found her looking worried at Larissa. "Hey" he said, walking over, "What is it?" he asked seeing Laris looking fazed.

Larissa made to speak when Robert turned up.
Be strong, she told herself, Don't let him think you're weak..
"Oh, hello." Larissa said in a strange voice. "Oh.." Larissa held up the letter, "This? It's nothing." She passed the letter to Libby.

(What's the idea? Also.. What does Napolde's & Libby's parents do?)

(I just checked Libby's, but yeah, what was your good idea? Pm it to me)

(lol the idea was to bring in robert XD

Napolde parents..umm..her mum is a...hairdresser..dad is an auror :p )

Robert put his hand on Larissa's arm as she gave the letter to Libby. "What is it?" he said again, looking into her eyes as if to say you can tell me

((lol ok))

Larissa looked up at Robert and sighed.
"My dad was murdered in September and originally we thought my brother had done it but now we know it was my mum's auror friend."

Roberts arm went round Larissa back, "Oh, i never knew, sorry" he said, kissing the top of her head. "You can't say your mum is still friends with them though can you?" he asked.

"No.." Larissa said, her face still blank and her eyes blurry, "No, my mum's glad he's in Azkaban."

He hugged her, "It's alright. He can't do anymore harm to anyone" he promised. He guessed Azkaban was a prison, even though being muggle raised he had never heard of it before.

Larissa smiled weakly.
"I will avenge my father's death.." She muttered under her breath, "Amandil will pay.."

(noo!)

Robert heard her muttering. "Whoose "Amandil""? he asked confused. "Isn't she ravenclaw?"

Larissa's faced hardened, she pushed Robert off of her and stood up.
"Napolde Amandil's father." She said loudly, her eyes were fire. "That's why she.." Larissa's eyes flickered to the door, "I have to go." She said quickly as she strode off out of the Owlery and up towards the castle, her robes and hair billowing behind her.

((I've started a topic for Napolde and me in the Great Hall called 'A Serious Talk.'))

Robert was shocked, but kept it in. When he was pushed away, he wondered what he'd done wrong. He watched in silence as she walked off fuming. Turning back to Libby he shrugged.

(ok)
