Demetria Gabor sat on her couch with a knee crossed over the other as she hunched over them both and tied her shoe tightly and switched to the other. She was about to go for her six kilometer walk as always and as she peered to theside and through the window to see the bright moon she couldn't be happier to do so. Although nights were only getting colder there was something missing when she didn't have her nightly walk and even if it was only once every month, to avoid being eaten or bitten by a werewolf, it was not something she liked to do. But the woman liked the freedom and if she were to be a werewolf she would be stripped of it and every time she wanted to visit her grandchildren she would have to ask permission from the government. The woman quickly dismissed this thought as she stood up and rubbed her thighs before she left the warmth of her home and locked the door with the flick of her wand-hand. The woman took a sharp inhale of the cold air and felt it sting her throat and settle in her stomach before she exhaled and continued to walk on to keep herself warm. Her strides were long and fast with the balls of her feet burning into her blue-on-white sneakers and the only sound she heard was her breaths and the sounds of her shoes on the pavement which was something she so enjoyed. That, coupled with the moonlight on her rosy cheeks, was very peaceful and was the only reason she was able to get to sleep at night instead of think of those she had sent to the Dementor's Kiss as an Auror, despite knowing that the criminals had deserved what they got for their brutal murders or torturing of innocent people.
Demetria walked on, making lists in her of things she had to do the next day and thought of writing her daughter because it had been far too long since hey had spoken and they were both due for an update on each other's lives as well as her grandson's life. Perhaps she would make an impromtu visit, instead. The last thing she wanted was that all she would be to him is a couple of stories his parents told him. So the woman nodded to herself at that thought, making it a finite decision and just hoping that her daughter and son-in-law wouldn't mind it. With this thought a gush of wind went through her so she put her hood on and moved at a faster pace, practically jogging, just so she could warm up because everything was fine when it was day but night was a different thing when it came to temperature. It, unfortunately, didn't occur to the hooded figure that she would look somewhat frightening to anyone else crossing her path.
