Ai had been walking around the castle for more than an hour or two now but she really couldn't care less while she had her mind blanked out, perhaps it was fine. After all, it was already late in the night, and she was doing patrols, though her mind was far from patrolling. She just let her feet take her wherever. The Hufflepuff had changed a lot ever since she had first entered Hogwarts. Before, during her first year, whenever she was frustrated and depressed, she took her anger and sadness out on the wall with her hands taking major damage all the time because she would just keep on punching till she was satisfied or till her hands hurt too much to make contact with anything. Now, she was letting her feet take the toll. She would walk and walk for hours and by the end of the day, her feet ended up sore and blistered though she didn't care. It was her fault that Heath had broken up with her after all. She should have given him more of her time. And maybe if she did, she wouldn't be hurting. Maybe she wouldn't have lost the only person she thought would never leave.
After a few more steps, Ai took a look at her surrounding to try and figure out where she was and she dreaded the answer she had gotten. The Fifth Floor Corridors. The Puff had to wonder if fate was mocking her like this. She wanted to move on from Heath, but she still found it hard too. And then her feet brings her to the place where everything started between them. This was where she met Heath and they fought, they made up and started that cycle. And this was where they confessed to each other. Ai tried to avoid this place as much as she could, but now, she was there and facing her regrets. She missed his sweetness. She missed his occasional grumpiness. She missed his complaints of being in Hufflepuff. She even missed their fights. But out of all things she missed, she missed him the most. She missed Heath James.
