It was difficult to catch a time when Tiziano-oniisama was not the one manning the Library. She'd not told anyone outside of Mikael her plans to go into the Auror force. Well, Mikael, and Bailey, and Horror, and Terror. So... quite a lot... that didn't include anyone with the surname Edogawa. Or Nightray. Except for Mikael. Now that they've been granted access to the Restricted Section, she and Bailey have been going in and out of the area whenever Tiziano-oniisama was not around just so he won't discover yet about her career plans because she wasn't sure if it would stay a secret from her parents for very long once her cousin finds out. He was unpredictable like that. And so today, Hina was sitting at a table with Bailey in the Restricted Section after she'd heard that Tiziano-oniisama had gone for a lunch break—one that on days like this usually ends up past lunch. She was sure that they still had two hours before he returned, and so she was elbow-deep into copying notes about nastier curses.​

Going into the restricted section was a pretty crazy idea, but they had permission so it was fine. Hina really wanted to know what kind of crazy might be waiting for her in the world of being an auror. Bailey had heard enough stories growing up to know it would be dangerous, but she wanted to do it anyway. Her dad always acted like it was the most dangerous job in the world and she shouldn't do it. But both he and Geo had done it for years and were still around. Her mum had died studying magical creatures, so who really had the more dangerous job. Bailey currently sat at a table in the restricted section, with her legs up on said table, a bad idea given she wore a skirt that, and was flipping through a book on famous fire-eaters. It had nothing to do with being an auror, but that wasn't why she was there. She was just there to back up her girlfriend.

The thing about studying in the Restricted Section is that Hina could see both why things were restricted and also not. While she could admit that some of the nastier curses were safer here, the defense against them and counter-curses were probably something that should be taught more in higher years. Then again, she didn't quite get why some would even want to perform these curses; it was exhausting and horrifying enough to read about them, though she had no doubt that this would be the type of reading material the Slytherins would probably be interested in. Shaking her head and then lifting it to look at her... g-g-girlfriend. "Anything interesting?" she asked as she rested her elbow on the table, chin on her hand as she looked at Bailey. Perhaps a break was necessary.​

"Not really, just by the sounds of it these guys use magic to swallow fire which honestly sounds like cheating, some muggles can do it without magic," Bailey called out from behind her book. "Did you find anything useful?" Bailey put her book down and looked over at Hina, who looked very pretty leaning against her hand.
