Having worked at St. Mungo's for twelve years really paid off at times, and now happened to be one of those particular times. Nataliia was going into labor and the poor girl didn't seem to even have the slightest clue what was really going on. 'She should've finished reading the pregnancy book..' Nicolette was currently supporting her friend as they made their way into a hospital room, she led Nataliia over to the hospital bed and helped her onto it. Luckily her friend wasn't in any real pain yet, the doctors needed to be informed as quick as possible before did she did.

"Okay, how are you feeling?" Nicolette asked her friend quickly, although she was used to this she really wasn't exactly sure if she was prepared to handle this. Holding her hand up she signaled Nat to hold on a second before she bolted out of the room. whens he returned she had an annoyed look on her face. "The new healers are so scatter brained. I informed them that your here." Nicolette sighed before she walked over to Nat.

Nataliia rested on the hospital bed, her blonde head against the pillows. She shouted, "Where the bloody hell is my husband?!" If the baby was coming, then he should be here, with her. She felt another spasm of discomfort, and she gasped. Her hands went to her stomach and she closed her silver eyes. She was thankful Niccy was there for her. Right now, she needed all the support she could get. She knew nothing about birthing a child, how much hell she was about to go through. Nataliia answered her friend's question in a hushed, rather anxious voice, "I'll be fine if my family will hurry up and get here." Nataliia glanced over at Niccy and she gave her a half hearted smile, before she felt another rush of pain.

Chavdar received the owl informing him of Nataliia's baby coming. Chavdar's hand went to his forehead. Her water broke in the ice cream parlor? He shook his head, informed Rosaline that he was going to hurry up and get to Nataliia's side before she started to panic. He was not too sure if the twins should be around this at all. He hoped that Rosaline would summon Nusa to watch them. Gathering his robes, Chavdar apparated to the hospital, asked directions to get to where he needed to be, and he rushed to the right room. Chavdar heard his sister's scream and he murmured, "Yeah, I got the right room.." He entered and he immediately went to Nataliia's side. Grabbing her hand, Chavdar murmured, "Nat, you are going to have to calm down. Going to labor in too much of a hurry won't be good on the child's behalf." Chavdar gave her a tiny smile, before nodding a greeting in the other woman's direction.

Upon receiving knowledge of Nataliia going into labour, Rosaline felt panic stricken. Her sister was at Hogwarts Scotland, now, how was this going to work? She sighed, going the the last person that had been decent enough with children, as far as she knew. Gaspard Lorka. Although she didn't trust him to raise her children should she and Chavdar die, a few hours would do. She apparated over to the house, and he willingly accepted to watch her children, they were sleeping now so they wouldn't be too difficult for him yet.

With another two pops, she found herself in Saint Mungo's. She looked around and asked one of the nurses she remembered vaguely from the birth of her own babies where Nataliia's room was. When she was told she walked towards it quickly and entered, hoping Joseph would have already been there. But when she entered she saw that he wasn't and she scowled, before walking to the blonde woman's side. "Nataliia, he will be here soon," she hushed before taking her gaze from Nataliia to Chavdar. She smiled at him before looking back down at Nataliia.

i didn't know if there was a posting order, sorry.

Anne had recieved an unexpected owl that Halloween morning. It had just turned midnight and Anne was still up yet having just seen her youngest son off for one of his midnight rallies. How she worried about him when he went to them, despite him having done them for 3 years, she still worried. Letting the owl in through the window she quickly opened the letter. She wasn't really expecting any post, Patricia was the only one who would write to her, but unfortunatley she still wasn't talking to her. Quickly opening the letter she read through it, her heart racing. The hand writing was unfamiliar but the name sounded somewhat familiar. Not worring about who wrote it Anne quickly got a pen and scribbled a note to her husband and older son,
Nataliia's gone into labour, be back soon!
Throwing her nightgown over her nightdress she put on her slippers and made her way to the fireplace. Remember the name of the place Niccy had written down Anne spoke the words clearly and was engulfed by green flames. Within a few moments Anne was standing in a massive foyer with a large crowd of people. Running to the information desk she asked where Nataliia was. Running up the stairs and along the corridors Anne heard familiar voices from a room a bit down from her. Entering the room she saw a few people huddled around a bed. Seeing the familiar blond lying on the bed Anne smilied sweetly at her, "Are you ready to have my grand-daughter?" she asked with a small smile, taking the girls hand.

Nicolette greeted Rosaline and what she assumed was Chavdar with each with a small smile and wave, she would've been more lively towards the two is she wasn't so stressed about making sure that everything went alright. When a woman that oddly reminded her of Patricia arrived she knew that Anne was here, she smiled at the woman softly.

"Good, you must've gotten my note." Nicolette ignored the weird feeling she always got when she was around muggles, now was not the time for her feel creeped out. She needed to be here for Nat, the healers didn't seem to be doing much for her when they really should've. And even worse, Joseph wasn't here when he really needed to be.

Kalif was in his office grading papers when Cecily came in and told him about his sister. At first, he just dismissed the fact that she was having her first child. He sat in his office, continuing to grade essays. He then remembered something, a certain phrase Asparuh had said to him. Watch over Nataliia and don't let her be alone when she is in labor. Rolling his eyes he stood up, and he put a cloak over his black robes. The Death Eater left the school grounds, before apparating to the hospital. Having inquired the directions from the lobby, he quietly made his way to the room. Kalif's black eyes scanned the people quickly. Did Nataliia have to choose her to be here? Kalif shook his head and he only took a few steps into the room, seeing Nataliia in this condition. At least he bothered to come, and he regretted every second of his final decision.

Nataliia flashed a weak grin to Rosaline and Chavdar. Her brother and sister, basically. She felt yet another spasm, and she gasped, "Oh my god, why is it hurting this bad?" Feeling another hand grip hers, she glanced over at Anne, Joseph's mom. Nataliia beamed, "Hi Mrs. R-er, mom! And you won't believe how much I want this child out. Ouch!" She felt some sort of discomfort again. It would only get worse from here. Nataliia bit her lip and she felt a wave of excruciating pain. She screamed, "Get the healers, she is coming!" Nataliia wanted this all to go away, just tear her open and get it out before she went insane. Nataliia caught the dark gaze of her brother Kalif and she shrieked, "Get my husband! If he misses the birth of his daughter I'll strangle him!" Nataliia knew she would regret yelling as loud as she could in such a small room to her, but it will all be worth it. Nataliia gasped again when the pain worsened. Tears formed in her eyes, and she decided to rely on instincts.

Nicolette bit her lip, where were those healers? If those idiots didn't hurry up and get here she would most willingly do this herself. Walking forward she stopped she she noticed Kalif was in the room, not only was she surprised that he came. But he certainly didn't look happy at all to be here. "Hello Kalif!" She smiled at him softly before she turned around to chec on Nat, the healers still hadn't shown up and it was starting to make Niccy very nervous.

When Nat yelled at Kalif quite harshly her golden eyes widened and she took a step back in fear that Nataliia was going to burst at her as well. Letting her golden eyes travel to Kalif she felt bad that he even walked into the room, but hen again she also felt bad that Nat's husband was still missing. "Umm Nat, you should probably stop yelling at him, it's not his fault that Joseph isn't here." She said almost regretting it. With a soft shrug of her shoulders she wandered off away from Nat, before the real explosion began.

"I better go find those retarded healers, they really suck at doing their job." Nicolette huffed before she walked away from the bed and out of the room to find the healers.

Anne lifted her head when she heard the other blonde address her. Getting a good look at her she remembered that she recognised her from Joseph and Nataliia's wedding as one of the bridesmaid. Looking at the other people in the room she realised that the other bridesmaid was there. There was another man in the room but Anne didn't know who he was, but still recognised him from the wedding. Turning back to Nataliia she smiled at her calling her mom, she laughed lightly, "Don't worry sweetie, it'll all be over soon." she said, pushing some of the girls hair away from her face. She grimanced when Nataliia screamed for Joseph. Checking her watch she saw that the rally would probably only be starting and not over for sometime and even longer before he would find the note at home. "He's at Darvagh Forest tonight honey, he's away to one of his rallies." she said as calmly as possible the last thing she wanted to do was aggravate Nataliia, someone who was in labour.

Anne's head shot around her shoulder as she heard Niccy talk. She felt her stomach turn as if she was going to be sick at the sound of the name. Still bend down by Nataliia she saw him enter the room. She had almost forgotten that he was Nataliia's half sister, so she knew he had every right to be there, but it didn't stop her from not wanting him there. When Niccy repeated the fact that Joseph wasn't there she hated herself for letting him go but hated her son more for not being her, even if Nataliia had gone into labour early, it was only but a week or so, he shouldn't even be going away from her in her state she thought to herself.

Kalif was prepared for Nataliia to scream, but not directly at him though. His eyes narrowed and his jaw was taunt. He only spared Nicolette a glance when she greeted him. He heard where Joseph was at, and he said, "Fine, I'll go get him." He turned and headed toward the doorway. Better than staying here with an eccentric woman giving birth. I had my fair share of being in this situation. Kalif rolled his eyes and apparated.

OOC: Nataliia posts soon...so time will fast forward

Rosaline cringed as Nataliia had a contraction. Boy this was going to be long for her, but thankfully she didn't have multiples, because it seemed like she was not going to epidural. She looked over to see Mrs. Rogers, a feeling of anxiety washed over her as she remembered oblivitating her memory of their original meeting. She blinked her sapphire coloured eyes before resting her gaze on Nataliia once more. She put a and gently on her arm, rubbing it soothingly. "It'll be fine, just breath." She looked up at Chavdar, asking with her eyes if it was at all possible that he was actually just late and not dead. She couldn't handle watching her 'sister' go through what she did.

"Chavdar," Rosaline murmured so quietly that it was inaudible under Nataliia's screams of anger and pain. She looked back at Nataliia and asked gently, "Would you like me to apparate to this.. Forest and find him?" She really didn't hope that would have to happen because she didn't want to miss Nataliia's first child come to the world and really wished Joseph would come on his own. But when Kalif did what she offered, she fell silent and grinned, appreciative for the man really not wanting to be in this situation.

Several hours of pain and screaming pass...
Nataliia had her eyes closed, and she was extremely tired. She opened her eyes when a healer had her baby girl wrapped in a white blanket, and he handed the baby to the mother. "Congratulations, it is a beautiful baby girl." Nataliia took her baby into her arms, and she cradled her. Nataliia awed over her, and she was happy. After everything, and now Nataliia looked like a train wreck, her hair soaked with sweat and her cheeks stained with tears, the little girl was worth it. "Joanna Liyla Dragonov-Rogers..." Nataliia stared into the crystal blue eyes of her child, and she beamed with pride. But where was the father? Nataliia was past the worried stage, and about frantic. Where was Kalif too? Why did he not return, with her husband? Nataliia gazed helplessly up at the company that surrounded her. Her question Where is my love? was evident in her eyes.

Nicolette smiled down at one of her best friends with a smile quite unlike her usual ones. Instead of her usual peppy smiles, this one was pure and utter stricken with happiness. Bringing a new life into the world was always an incredibly beautiful thing to her, especially when she had always loved children. Leaning down she gave Nat a small hug, but was careful enough to not harm the baby. "She's beautiful, Congratulations!" Nicolette's golden eyes sparkled with happiness and admiration. She had always wished for a family all of her own, so it was always hard for her to see other's so happily with their families. Her friends were the closest thing she had to a family, she just hoped they would never leave her like her parents had.

When Nataliia looked up hopelessly at the group Niccy's smile faded. Kalif hadn't returned with Joseph yet, and she could see the worry on her friends face. 'Maybe I should see if those two are okay.' She sighed softly before she turn and slowly made her way to the door. She'd probably have to apparate, but Joseph really needed to be here, so she didn't mind that much.

As much as anyone hated to be the bearer of bad news, Kalif hated it worst of all when he had to when it concerned his sister. After all the stuff she went through, any normal person would loathe this situation. Kalif was barely affected by it. He did not like the fact that he had to travel here and go back to Saint Mungo's almost empty handed. Kalif turned and went down an alley, carrying something to prove evidence of what he was about to say. He apparated to the room, and he saw that Nataliia had already given birth, and her worried expression caused him more irritation than anything. Kalif stated coolly, his expression blank and hard, "Joseph Rogers died in his rally race." He pulled out Joseph's car's license plate. The white was streaked with black from the smoke of the car explosion or something. Kalif couldn't remember. But nonetheless, Joseph was dead. Kalif dropped the license plate, and the sound echoed through the silence he was sure that this news would give.

Anne waited outside the room as the doctors, or healers as they were called, went in and helped Nataliia gave birth to her first grandchild, her grand - daughter. Even though she wasn't born yet Anne felt an over whelming love for the little girl. She couldn't believe she was about to become a grandmother but she didn't mind one bit, how could she. But this wasn't about her, it was about Nataliia and Jospeh, speaking of which should be here already she thought to herself as she paced outside the room. Checking her watch every so often. Kalif left ages ago and should be back with Joseph, even if he had to wait for the rally to finish, it should be over already. The nerves started to build in her stomach, for her son, for her daughter-in-law and for her future grand-daughter, so much was going through her head at the moment.

Then she heard the sound of a baby crying, stopping in her tracks she lifted her head, a smile spread across her face. Entering the room she saw Nataliia, exhausted but still lovely - a radiant mother holding her beautiful child. Walking over to her bed she gazed down lovingly at the baby girl, "She's precious." she cooed adoringly, smiling at Nataliia. Seeing her eyes she saw the same question that was going through her own mind at that moment, Where is Jospeh? Worry started to grow more and more. Anne knew how dangerous the rallies could be, especially at night time, very little light and fast cars in among a load of trees was never a good mix.

Hearing someone else enter the room Anne saw Kalif. A strange sense of excitement filled her, something she never wanted to experience again when seeing Kalif. But after a few seconds the excitement left her, Why is Joseph not with him? Her eyes filled with worry, she stood up to her full height and took a few steps away from Nataliia and Joanna. Anne sensed nothing from Kalif, damn his cold expression she thought angerily to herself. She held her breath as he began to talk. Once he did the was a brief moment of slience before the words hit home with her. Joseph, her son was...dead?!?! As the metal of the number plate echoed, Anne screamed, "Noooo!" a blood curdling cry escape her mouth as she fell to the floor. Her arms wrapped around her chest, afraid she could fal apart if she didn't hold herself together. Her son was dead, how could this happen? Anne sat on the floor and weaped for her dead son.

Nicolette stopped walking when Kalif appeared, if he was there then she didn't need to go off and look for him and Joseph now. However the news that came out of his mouth made her visibly tense. She knew he wouldn't joke about this, so there was no reason for her to ask him if he was serious. When the metal license plate hit the floor Nicolette brought a hand up to her face and placed it over her eyes, this was not going to be pretty.

"Dammit." She cursed under he breath when she heard Anne's cries in the background. She didn't dare turn around because she knew the scene would probably break her heart. Instead she let her gaze fall onto Kalif before she sighed loudly and turned her gaze away from him. Her heart was already breaking for Nataliiia. She didn't really care that much for Joseph, but her friend was going to suffer because of this. 'For every life there is a death...maybe James was more wise than I gave him credit for.' Niccy's arms crossed over her chest before she turned and immediately let her breath become stuck in her throat, the sight before he was certainly not a happy one.

Chavdar was tired from the whole scene, but he was here for his sister. However, when Kalif came in without Joseph, Chavdar's eyes widened, and he stared at Kalif in disbelief. Chavdar watched the metal plate thing dropped to the floor. Chavdar closed his eyes, and he bit his lip. Chavdar's breathing was irregular, and he knew that his sister would need comforting. As would Anne. Chavdar whispered to Rosaline, "Please...watch over Nataliia." He approached Anne, and bent down. He wrapped his arms around Anne, assuming that any sense of comfort was needed until she was able to floo out of here. Chavdar couldn't say anything. He had never lost a child, yet he feared for his own every day. Chavdar closed his eyes. Knowing his sister's pain and this woman's, he forced himself not to weep in front of them. Instead, he had to remain calm like Kalif... The difference between him and Kalif however, Chavdar actually cared about the people in this room, whereas Kalif did not.

With Chavdar, Rosaline waited, her hand held in his softly. Her free arm skimmed over the skin on his inner forearm absentmindedly. Her thoughts were swirling rapidly in her mind, but the goosebumps on the back of her neck were caused by a darkness that loomed above her 'sister'. When the healers had left and they were allowed to enter the room again to see Nataliia and the baby girl that of course would be beautiful, Rosaline stood up and walked side by side with Chavdar. When she saw Nataliia she smiled - uneasily mind you - before looking down at the baby she introduced as Joanna. She was exactly what she had expected so she stayed silent but when she heard the calculated steps coming towards the group her heart froze. They weren't coupled with those of an eager fathers, no there was nothing else behind them. Just those set of foot prints, and her stomach lurched at this realization.

When Kalif spoke those words, tears were already formed in her eyes. Rosaline tightened her grasp on her love, before looking down at Mrs. Rogers. She remembered having to comfort herself and Mrs. Jenane when her own husband died so when Chavdar walked over to her and comforted the woman relief hit her but she looked at Nataliia and her heart broke into two. She didn't wish to hear Nataliia's tears or see them because she cared for the girl very much and Joseph, well he was just a reminder of her own love and how foolish she had been. "Oh Merlin," she muttered under her breath as the tears for Joseph didn't stop.

Truth be told, Rosaline had hated Joseph with every fiber of her being. He was a stubborn young man that didn't know his place, she had known he was going to die, and she hated him for it. Nataliia didn't deserve this, she was so young and so was he. Poor Joanna would never know her father and this would surely drive her 'sister' into Post Postpartum Depression. She gently wrapped her arms around Nataliia, hugging her knowingly and kissed the top of her head in a motherly fashion, hoping she wouldn't lash out at her. She knew she had been mad at the whole damn world when she woke up and found Vaschel's body in the street several moments after, she had started shooting spells at muggles out of hatred, so this wouldn't be any different, would it?

Iz be blaming the bunnies

Nataliia was fawning over Joanna. The baby had yet to cry. Just as her adopted parents said, she too was a quiet baby. Nataliia was still worried sick over her Joseph, her one true love. Nataliia glanced up to see Kalif apparate in. Alone. She murmured, "Where-" But Kalif had started to speak. Those words... Joseph...no no, he can't be dead! Not after everything! Asparuh was not a threat. No one in the family was a threat! This was just absurd! Nataliia stared at Kalif with wide, silvery eyes outlined in tears. She watched the plate fall to the floor. Her lips parted... That plate falling meant more to her than anything.

The plate was her world. And it came crashing down. Uncontrollable tears spilled down her cheeks as she hugged her child close to her. Her hands were shaking, and she was terrified of dropping the infant. Nataliia's expression froze in shock. The news barely reached her... Her love...gone. Dead. It was just something that she could never believe. After their cheats with death - so to speak - how could this happen? On the day of All Hallow's Eve and Joanna's birthday? She blinked and she came to realize her tears were there. That only meant, her heart knew it was true. Joseph Rogers, her husband and one and only love, was dead. October 31[sup]st[/sup], 2023, Joseph Rogers died and Joanna Rogers was born.

Nataliia finally murmured, "No...this is all a lie!" Denial. Nataliia finally broke. She felt Niccy take Joanna from her, and it was the best. As soon as her hands were free, they went to her face and she started to hyperventilate. She couldn't even feel Rosaline's comforting actions. Instead, Nataliia continued to face reality. She would no longer see Joseph, she was a widow, and a single mother... Nataliia released a serious of rather loud and broken-hearted sobs. Her tears continued to flow like a waterfall. Nataliia shrieked behind her hands, making the sound muffled, "No! Not my Joseph! Why take him?" Nataliia wanted him back, wanted this all to be a sick joke, but it wasn't. The sobs only grew louder when she stopped speaking and just started to cry. The only thing keeping her alive...was that little bundle. It was the only part of Joseph she would ever have again.

As Anne sat crying in the floor she felt someone sit beside her and place their arm around her to comfort her no doubt. Looking up at the man, her eyes red from crying, she saw it was the one whos name she could not remember. Still crying she lowered her head into her hands. She sobbed and sobbed, feeling as though her heart was breaking. How could her son be dead, it just wasn't possible. Her thoughts wondered to all the memories she could muster, right up to the wedding - where he had been so happy - even a number of hours ago when she sid goodbye to him, making him promise to be safe; something she did everytime, why did he had to break his promise? she thought angerly.

Lifting her head at other cries beside her she looked up at Nataliia. Ane quickly wiped her tears on her night gown. Standing up she made her way over to her daughter - in - law. Fresh tears filling her eyes she hugged the girl. Sure Anne felt sorry for herself, Jospeh was her son afterall, but Nataliia had just lost her husband, her love, the husband of her child. Her life was going to be hard but looking around the room she knew Nataliia would always have all the support she needed, but it just wasn't the same as having her husband they with her.

Then a thought dawned on Anne, she would have to let Gerard, Christopher and Patricia know. But how could she tell them Jospeh had died? She wasn't a strong woman, she couldn't even tell Patricia about Kalif. But she knew a rep would probably have already contacted home, that just left Patricia. But how could she tell her? Anne wasn't exactly Patricia's favourite person at the moment. And even if Anne wanted to tell Patricia she couldn't go to the school and definatley couldn't write something like this over a letter, it would be far too impersonal. Staring blankly at the ground she muttered to herself, "Patricia will hate me for live now." Lifting her head she addressed everyone else, "Does anyone know how to get to the school?" she asked through her tears

"I'll go tell Patricia, someone needs to inform Cecily anyways." Nicolette offered with a small sigh. She stepped over to Chavdar and handed him the baby. She really would've liked to hold the small child longer, but she figured she might as well do something. Staying here would only make her feel worse than she already did, she really didn't like it when she felt like her heart was breaking. Walking over to Nataliia she gave her friend a quick hug before she stepped back away from the bed and sighed. 'I can't apparate inside the school and I doubt that they will just let me walk in...looks like I'll have to resort to my Animagus form.' Nicolette was pretty sure that no one here had an idea that she was an Animagus, she didn't really like people knowing, but she was willing to do anything for her friend and that poor boy's mother. Besides, she had already met awhile back and held a soft spot for the young girl, she had spunk yet a soft side and Niccy liked that in a person.

Glancing around the room with her golden eyes once she smiled softly to herself, she had no clue what she was going to say to say Cecily or Patricia, but she could probably figure out what to say on her way there. "Somebody keep an eye on Nataliia for me please?" She said quickly before she took a deep breath, this trip was most surely going to be a pain for her, and she would almost suggest that Kalif do it, but she knew he probably wouldn't want to. "See you guys later..." Nicolette said to everyone quickly before she walked forward and felt the familiar feeling of her transforming. Soon her large human form was replaced with the form of a small white cat with the same bright golden eyes that her human form carried. Her right ear twitched before she began to walk towards the door, as she passed by Kalif she made sure to glance up at him quickly before she averted her gaze back to straight ahead of her. Soon she was gone and out of the hospital.

Rosaline's heart continued to shatter as she could feel tears drop onto her arms that were draped around Nataliia. When she screamed, a painful reminder of all those years ago rose from the grave she managed to form in her heart and in her mind. She winced and tears continued down her face, she hadn't really noticed Mrs. Rogers ask if anyone could go tell Patricia that her brother was dead until Nicolette offered. She gave the woman a peculiar look, how could she get into the castle? That was when she transferred into a cat. Oh, that makes more sense, she thought.

But Rosaline's attention quickly returned to Nataliia, running her fingers through her hair that was slightly sweaty from child birth. "It'll be okay Nataliia. Trust me, it will." She didn't know if it was completely true, they were different people after all, Rosaline had gone into depression and tried murdering a woman several times but Nataliia had to be alright for her beautiful Joanna. Rosaline hoped that one day, her 'sister' was as lucky as she felt she was, but for now she let her grieve.

Nataliia continued ti sob as well as hyperventilate. Rarely anything bad ever happened to her, why now? Why take her beloved Joseph away? Even though Nataliia knew that Anne would be in a lot of pain, nothing stopped her from grieving her broken heart out. Who knew who was in more pain, Nataliia or Anne. A love and a son was impossible to replace, a bond hardly any understood. Nataliia did not notice Niccy turn into a cat in front of everyone. She was too busy trying to learn how to live without her love in her life. It was hard enough to breathe, let alone think straight. All Nataliia could do now was just cry. Never had she felt so helpless in the world.

Nataliia heard Rosaline's words, and she felt a strong pit of fury arise within her. Nataliia yelled, anger and sorrow mixed with her tone, "No! It will never be okay! No one will ever replace him, no one! Unless you can bring him back from the dead, then don't say it will be okay!" Nataliia knew that she would have to sooner or later stop crying, and be there for Joanna. However, she just couldn't right now. She could barely hold the child without fear of killing her while she grieved. Nataliia closed her eyes, and she rested her head against the pillow, and brought her blankets up to her neck. She continued to sob and cry, cause for the next year or so, she would be crying herself to sleep.
