🌹 Rose Giving Mellow Yellow Rose

Penny had already asked around in the Slytherin Common Room and Great Hall for Blake Irons, who was the trickiest rose recipient to find so far. She was directed to the Quidditch pitch and it made sense that the Quidditch player would be there. Penny felt uncomfortable interrupting their training, but she headed down there nonetheless as she wanted to deliver all her roses to free up the rest of her afternoon. "Hey I'm looking for Blake Irons!" She said, approaching an older Slytherin who could be him, she wasn't certain though.

The less Blake had to do with the rose deliveries, the better. He hadn't gotten many in the past, and he wouldn't pretend he had enjoyed any of them. Much easier to stay out on the pitch and practice all day, avoiding the entire thing. He would need to be sharp for their match against Beauxbatons, there was no doubt about that. He took a small break from chasing the snitch to get some water, wiping the sweat from his brow. February heat wasn't the best to play Quiddtch in, but he wanted to make sure he had plenty of experience in all kinds of conditions. As he swigged from his water bottle he heard someone approaching, groaning softly when he heard what the younger girl had to say. "Yeah, that's me." He grumbled, hoping to get this over with as quickly as possible. He didn't know who would be bothering to send him a rose anymore, but the sooner it was done with, the better.

Pleased to have found Blake quickly, Penny handed the rose over to the reluctant receipicant. He was the only one from all her deliveries who had not been cheered up by a rose delivery and she was happy that chance had left him until the end. "Sorry to interrupt. Happy Valentine's Day!" She said, as she handed him the rose.
