Yew Wand 14" Essence of Fairy Dust
The day was still young as Alana headed to the gardens for an evenings walk. She quite enjoyed her walks through the gardens. Usually she went with her friends but today she wished to be alone. Her thoughts were of Mark. How she had met him over the break and they had exchanged presents. How much fun it had been. She laughed as she remembered the awkwardness between them when she had mentioned parents. Thinking she wanted him to meet hers, he had panicked slightly. This had caused Alana slight agrivation before it was resolved. And so now ofcourse she was glad to be back in her beloved school.

She smiled as she sat on the bench and pulled out her wand. She did so enjoy cojuring small paper doves to fly around her. Sometimes she would fly them too high and they would disappear. Or fly into someones window, causing the need for her to move. Now however, she was sitting in the centre garden. Her eyes closed as she allowed her mind to take in the sounds around here.

No doubt about it, Aria was very happy that the snow - or whatever you like to call the early March mess with - was gone. And yes, one shall neither deny that she liked the snow and Christmas like a seven year old girly girl, but there was something immensly apprehensive about the mess of dirt mixed water in the spring, whatever it was, Aria would try to avoid it.

So finally, she was allowed by the weather to get out of the palace and go out and about, and the first place she chose was the gardens. Being sensible enough, she grabbed a book with her on the way out and sat herself down on what was to become her favourite spot in Beauxbatons ever. She read on and on, completely lost in her Andersen, until she was interrupted by an older girl, and went immediately apprehensive. One of her first encounters with older Beauxbatons was that personage in second year, she was so unpleasant, and now, this was a fricken sixth year!? So it was, helas, and all Arethuse could do was sitting there beong slightly very scared. She finally gathered mood to squeeze a "Hallo." out, unsure on whether to leave or not.

Alana turned as she heard a voice. Was she intruding on some-one? She lookd down to see some-one of a much younger year, book in hand looking up at her. She smiled. "Oh, Hello, I'm Alana, and who might you be?" She wanted to be pleasant. She had become much more of a nicer person since starting to date Mark Stone. She sat down next to the girl and gave her a pleasant smile. "Do you mind my inquiring as to the book you are reading?" She asked the younger student. She had been rather into books in her early schooling days but as she got alone had opted to leave them alone.

"Umm, hello Alana. My name is Arethusa." She thus started tentatively, while remaining uneasy about the older Beauxbatons. Considering reality, there was no need for her to be nervous, since everyone wasn't a rotten arrogant egg. But now Arethuse was and would remain phobic for a while. Nevertheless, she returned the smile nervously at first, phobia impeding her. "The book?" She said, still with apprehension and nodded, "H. C. Andersen. Do you like them?" She blurted out again, for despite all the worlds phobias, there was none that stopped an curious 12 year old.
