Mania wasn't too sure what to think of the first few weeks of her third year. It had been nice to be back at school and see all her friends and such, now she even had her two sisters there by her side. There was a lot of new classes too so that was exciting but she was a little overwhelmed yet again by it all. She'd needed a quiet place to just think for herself and not be around anything she'd want to distract herself with so she'd come to the abandoned classroom. She was laying in the middle of the floor in a starfish position, using her robes as a pillow.

Staring at the ceiling was oddly comforting. She had no idea why the room was abandoned, but she wouldn't question it either. The Gryffindor wasn't sure how long she'd been laying there but judging by the change in the light coming through the windows it had to have been a few hours already. She wasn't too hungry so if she missed dinner that wasn't a big deal, she had hoarded some snacks in the drawer on her bedside table just in case she ever got hungry in the middle of the night. If she squinted hard enough or took her glasses off the cracks in the ceiling almost started to make little patterns, like a map traced on the stone. Was it even stone? It looked like it, though it could have been concrete she supposed but everything else was stone or wood so probably stone. Not that it mattered for Mania as she traced the lines with her eyes.

Felix was trying to find a space away from everyone, which was hard living in a school full of students. He pushed open the door to the abandoned classroom, hoping there wasn't another stray game of truth or dare going on from one of the older students. He was relieved to find it empty, or at least he did until he spotted someone lying on the floor. Mania, lying on the floor. He wasn't in the mood. He turned and backed out the room immediately, closing the door behind him and walking back down the corridor before the Gryffindor had a chance to see who'd interupted her.

It was peaceful and had it not been the crack of the door Nia might not have known someone had entered, she tried to look who it had been but having taken her glasses off just before she couldn't really tell and the person left before she got the chance to take a proper look. Annoyed Nia got off the floor, put her glasses on and rushed to the door. Her curiosity needed her to see who'd came in and decided to leave. As she poked her head out the door her eyes landed on a familiar back and all Mania did was a loud huff, of course he'd tried to come to the same place she'd been in to find solidarity. "I don't bite if that's what you were afraid of," she called out in a joking manner, but didn't pursue any further contact. Instead she retreated back to the room and went back to lying down and staring at the ceiling.
