Estrella had not been so confident going into the game with Gryffindor. Now that Ravenclaw had conquered their most formidable enemy, she was sure that they were going to smash Hufflepuff into the dirt. This was the reason she dragged herself out to the pitch. In this next game, winning was the only option. With the way the games had played out, Ravenclaw would either have the cup or tie with Gryffindor. Coming to a tie for the cup was unacceptable. At this point in time during the school year she really should be studying, but Estrella knew she was going to crack if she had to rewrite another damaged page of notes.
Amethyst Streak in hand, the eighteen year old did something different than was usual. She opened the door to the broom shed, snatching a beater's bat and a box with a bludger in it. Estrella released the black ball, watching as it ambled lazily over the pitch. She weighed the bat in her hand and smiled. Improving her strength was something that she should have worked at a long time ago. Kicking off into the skies, Estrella flew around a bit as she took practice swings with the club. It was awkward flying with it in hand. When she felt she was ready she dive bombed the bludger, whacking it across the field. Waiting a moment as it soared across the pitch, she followed it and drove it away. The Ravenclaw soon discovered that hitting bludgers wasn't as effortless as the beaters made it out to be.
