Claire made her way slowly through the halls of her school, feeling excited for the new term. She hadn't been accepted to Transfer into HNZ this year, but there was always next year, and that was something that made her happy. She was excited to be able to stay here with her friends for now, but it would have been good for her to get out there and make new friends amongst the magical community, and hogwarts had a whole bunch of people there for her to meet, and make friends with. Claire turned the counter, and found somebodies cat, and it was fluffy!

Claire ran over to the kitty, and picked it up into her arms. "Aren't you the cutest thing in the world?" Claire asked rhetorically. She had always wanted a cat. If only I could figure out who owned this one, we could probably be best friends. Claire thought, a smile on her face. She loved people with pets, because they usually let Claire play with them at times, and she couldn't wait to play with this little animal again. Slowly, she put it down, and started skipping around the corner, trying to find somebody for her to hang out with for the day.

Nevaeh was still getting used to her surroundings. She had desperately clung to the fact that she would be attending HNZ with her best friend Riley, and the fact that she wasn't going there hadn't quite sunk in yet. Not being able to handle being at home, Nevaeh's step mother gladly sought out any place to get rid of her. Nevaeh pulled her coat slightly closer to her, and continued to walk slowly around her new school. She was used to being alone, after her mother died, and Riley left England, Nevaeh barely spoke to anyone. She used to be a flame, someone with lots of energy, but it had slowly died down to nothing more than a tiny spark.

If Riley were there, Nevaeh knew what she would say. There's nothing you can do about it, so let it go. At least try and have some fun. Her voice was so vivid in her head, Nevaeh looked around to make sure Riley wasn't actually there. Sighing, she turned back around to continue walking. Nevaeh jumped, startled as she saw a girl coming skipping around the corner; she didn't expect to see anyone. But this is school Nevaeh, you will be seeing people all the time. She told herself. Well, now is as good as time as any to have some fun. Nevaeh breathed in, and confidently called out, "Hey! My name's Nevaeh! What are you up to?"

Claire stopped skipping as somebody said something to her, and smiled brightly. This looked like an opportunity for her to have some fun with a new person, and possibly even make a new friend. She loved meeting people, and especially girls, because she found she could get along with them so much easier then she could with boys, because a lot of them only wanted one thing from her, and it really annoyed her sometimes. She slowed her walk, and stopped in front of Neveah. "I am Claire, it's a pleasure to meet you." Claire said, smiling brightly. This person seemed like a really nice person to talk to.

Claire smiled at Neveah, "I'm just wandering around the school at the moment, and I'm in a really good mood. Do you want to hang out with me for a little bit today? I could really use the company." Claire said, smiling at her. She wanted to be able to get to know Neveah better, so she hoped she would consent to hanging around with her around the school for the rest of the day, if not only a little bit would do, but he definitely didn't want to be on her own for an extended period of time. She smiled at Neveah, and gestured forward. "Coming?" She asked, feeling elated to have met somebody.

Nevaeh smiled as the girl stopped and introduced herself as Claire. She loved how happy Claire seemed to be; she just lit up the room. It gave her confidence, and reminded her of her old self. Nevaeh's smile grew wider as Claire asked her if she wanted to hang out with her. "Yeah, that'd be great! I'm new here, I just transferred so maybe you could show me around the school or something? Because I have no idea where I am right now." Nevaeh stated, looking around at her surroundings. Nevaeh was keen to make a new friend, and hoped that Claire wouldn't be like all the other girls. She hoped that Claire would be fun, and up for mischief and all sorts. "Yeah, I'm coming." Nevaeh said with a grin, following Claire.

Claire smiled as Neveah said that she would come along with her for the day. "Yaaay!" She said, taking her hand and leading her through the school, it would be nice to be able to get out with somebody new, and be able to show her around the castle, even though she was only new here herself. "I'll show you around the parts of the castle I know, I suppose, seeing as though I'm only pretty new here myself." Claire admitted, blushing slightly. She would be much help to somebody, if she didn't even know much about the school herself, but oh well, at least she would be able to hang out with a new person, whether or not she would be able to help her have a good day or not. Claire shrugged, and smiled at Neveah. "Since I don't know much about the school, is there anything else you want to do for the day?" Claire asked, and she was down for anything Neveah was.

Nevaeh laughed as Claire took her hand and lead her through the castle. She tried to take in her surroundings as they moved along. She smiled at what Claire said, "That's okay, I just assumed that you weren't new." Nevaeh didn't mind though; she was happy to just meet someone new. She looked around the school unsure what else they could do. "I'm not sure." Nevaeh replied. "To be honest, I don't really mind. It's nice to just hang out with someone. I miss my best friend, she attends HNZ, and I thought I was going there too. But anyway. . ." Nevaeh blushed slightly. "We can just go for a walk and get to know each other or something? Or go swimming? Do you guys have a lake?" Nevaeh asked.

Claire liked this younger girl, she was kind and definitely seemed like a fun loving person. Claire loved people who were like her, and most of them were just so cute that she couldn't believe it. Claire smiled to herself and wondered what they actually could do in this place, she did know that there was a lake here, but whether or not Neveah would want to go swimming in it were a whole other story altogether. Claire smiled when Neveah actually voiced the thoughts that had just been going through Claire's head, and she couldn't even begin to explain how much she would love to go swimming. "I would loove to go swimming with you! I haven't been swimming in ages and it would be great to go with a new friend. I would just need to get changed first." Claire said, knowing full well that her undergarments wouldn't be goos things to go swimming in.
