Aiya Owens-Lee
Slytherin Third Year
Lessons 1-3

Lesson One
Aiya’s break had gone fairly quickly, but she was keen to get back into the swing of things, especially now that she was feeling a little more confident in herself. She headed out of the common room for her first week of classes. With her backpack slung over her shoulder, she entered the classroom for her first lesson of the semester.

As Aiya took her usual seat within the Transfiguration classroom, the professor started the lesson quickly. He began by lecturing them about the limits of Transfiguration, which Aiya thought was rather important. She took out her writing equipment so she could keep up with it. By the end of the lesson she was very happy with all of the dot points she had and was even happier that the professor didn't leave them with any homework. When dismissed, she left the classroom to head straight to her next class.

Lesson Two
The second week came around quickly and Aiya still wasn’t sure how she felt about the classes she was taking. Some things were interesting, and some things really weren’t. At least she was having fun being a member of the Wild Patch Club, so she had something else to look forward to at Hogwarts. Because quite frankly, there wasn’t really much else that was interesting. With a sigh, the Slytherin followed her classmates to all of her classes for the day.

Aiya entered the Transfiguration classroom and she was happy to hear that they'd be practicing a new spell. When instructed, she took out her wand and pointed it at the frog in front of her. She imagined it much smaller and skinnier, and bright green in colour. She used the three-tap method. "Locusta" she said, smirking as the frog turned into a grasshopper. She let her grasshopper hop away once the professor had seen that she completed the task and was quick to leave the classroom.

Lesson Three
Aiya had to admit that she wasn’t as excited about her classes as she thought she would be. Most of them were boring and she was starting to feel a little trapped as she had no other choice but to attend them. She found that the best way to distract herself was writing letters back and forth to her family. Admittedly, she was starting to grow a little fond of the owls in the owlery, but not fond enough that she regretted taking the magical creatures class. She had just finished sending a letter to her father and headed back down to attend her classes.

Aiya made her way to her Transfiguration class, wondering what they'd be learning that lesson. The professor started the lesson quickly, announcing that they were turning rats into rabbits this time. This meant that they were turning something small into something bigger, which would prove to be a bit more challenging. When instructed, the Slytherin took out her wand and pointed it at the rat. She was lucky in that her rat wasn't trying to escape. It had probably been turned into things many times and was used to it. It took a couple of tries, but the girl was eventually able to successfully complete the task. She happily packed away her belongings and exited the classroom at the end of the lesson.

Priyanka Bakshi
Ravenclaw, Third Year
Lessons: 2 - 4

Lesson 2
Priyanka wasn't sure if the transformations would work out. However, this year she decided to try to do everything right. At first, the lesson started with them having to write down the transformations they would do today. Priya wrote everything down carefully and carefully so that she could look back later if something went wrong during the rehearsal. Then, after the story, the challenge came. They had to turn a frog into a grasshopper.

When they had to do it, Priyanka stared at the frog with wide eyes at first. She looked like everyone in the class was already trying or had already tried to turn a frog, but she was still getting ready. Taking a deep breath, she pointed her wand at the frog, "Locust!", but at first nothing happened. Then she slouched until three, then tried to turn the frog again. She turned the wand back to the frog, then it turned into a grasshopper and immediately started chirping loudly. She was so excited about herself that she tried again until the end of the lesson. Now they had to go Priyanka said goodbye to the professor, put her things in her bag and left the classroom.

Lesson 3

Priyanka also listened carefully to the professor this time and wrote down everything he said. She understood that this time everything would be harder, that it would all be more complicated and it made her nervous, that it would take more time to turn the rat into a rabbit, but still she would have to try as many times as she could.

Then she could try to turn the rat. She looked at the rat for a short while, then raised her wand towards it and shouted loudly, "Cuniculus!" , but the first time nothing worked, it seemed that it would really be difficult. She waited a few minutes, then tried again and the second time it didn't work either. She had to count to three, then try a fourth time, and this time she managed to turn the rat into a rabbit that was sitting on her desk and wiggling its little nose. When they were ready to leave, she said goodbye to the professor and left the classroom.

Lesson 4
Priyanka was going to the transfiguration class, wondering if they would be trying a spell today. She sat down on the bench, then took out her notes from her bag. She had to wait a minute for the professor to start the lesson. Priyanka heard that she didn't have to transform anything today, but had to write about the clash of magic. She wrote down everything the professor said, because it would definitely be useful on the exam, because she didn't know what would be on it.

She wrote down everything, and in the end there were about three pages of what the professor said. By the end of the lesson, her hand hurt. When they were free, Priya said goodbye to the professor, put her things in her bag and left the classroom.
