Felix had already introduced Nia to his friends over the summer, but today he'd wanted her to get to know his family a little more. Felix had been living with Leda and Mervyn for years now, after he and Ten found it much closer to the school than the house they had with their father. Besides, Felix was asked to babysit for the triplets so often he may as well have stayed over. Ten was at the Apothecary more than ever, so currently Nia was borrowing her room, and Felix hoped Eluned wouldn't bombard her.

"What do you mean do you don't like cheese?" Felix was in the midst of an argument with Livvy about what she was making for the girls lunches and of course each one had their own preferences. Leaving the girls in the living room, Felix swayed back into the kitchen where he had a number of plates on the go all around him. He'd never remembered his cousin going to this level of effort when he babysat for Felix and his sister.

OOCOut of Character:
Note:
Leda & Mervyn not home, probs at work during the day.
Ten not here.
Eluned may be lurking around as lives in the house but no godmodding (Claire)
Triplets Livvy, Ellen & Nessie are also here, but feel free to godmod Livvy & Ellen as they're my characters. They're currently 9!

Mania hadn't expected her telling Gaia she was staying behind at school for the holidays go over so well. The third year had only threatened to hex her twice if she didn't return home with them. Twice until Nia had mentioned Alexander being around and Gaia having to socialize with the buffoon, or in other words having to tell him off, every time the boy wanted to trap Mania in a conversation she had no interest in. It was really a bane that their mama had rekindled this friendship from her past. Now it seemed that the Vasileiou's were more of a part of her family than she'd ever felt.

This portion of the year at school had been nice though, much less chaotic than the time at home in Greece would have been. Plus Nia had gotten to spend a lot of time with Fifi without as many students around as usual. It'd come as a bit of a shock when he'd invited her over to his aunts, she'd met a fair bit of his family at school even considered the boy's older sister someone she wanted to be like and had met his friends but still being invited over to his home was another thing entirely. She hadn't declined, of course, and that was why she was now in the living room with the triplet cousins of Felix's. She'd more or less been herself and actually quite liked the triplets. They seemed like a fun trio. She glanced towards the prefect who'd started making lunch for the girls and got up from her seat to walk into the kitchen with him. "They are...." Mania spoke, glancing back towards where she'd come from trying to find the word to describe the trio. "Lively," she finally finished. That was the best word she could come up with. "Did I hear that one of them doesn't like cheese though?" Nia whispered as an after thought.

Lively. That was Nia's choice of words? "Says you," Felix grinned, resuming stirring the vegetables that were currently sizzling away in the pan in front of him. He grabbed a fork, stabbing a piece of red bell pepper because it was only fair to sample his work as he went, "You want to try?" he asked, offering Nia the second bite once he'd determined it was acceptable. The chicken and vegetables were giving off a slightly spicy BBQ aroma which was making Felix hungrier than ever. "I know, every day it's something else though," Felix had noticed that what Livvy hated changed depending on the day, which made it very hard whenever Mervyn tried to make their family dinners. "Is there anything you don't like?" Felix gave the ingredients another mix, curious to find out more about the Gryffindors preferences.

Mania turned back towards Felix and nodded with a grin. "Yup says me, I feel like I am pretty good judge of that one." Some would call her chaotic, some would call her lively it was really down to who was describing her what word they used. "Sure," Nia took the bite gladly because honestly the smell was making her realize she was quite hungry. "Ooh, that's really good!" The fourth year said once she had an empty mouth once again. She tried not to look too horrified at the idea that someone didn't like cheese, like how could you not? "Um well, I don't really dislike mushrooms however if it was those over something else? I'd pick the something else. I also do not enjoy oysters, my mum loves them but honestly? They are just disgustingly slimy. Feels like swallowing a slug. Snails are in the same boat." She grimaced even thinking about them. "Though between you and me, I think mama only likes them because they are considered fancy. She's a shallow woman." Mania added with a low tone, as though her mum was going to jump around the corner and bark her ear off for saying such things. "How about you, is there anything you don't like?" Nia asked leaning into the counter as she watched Fifi work.
