Yellow rose for Manaia Te Rangi

It seemed like Iris had three Hufflepuff first years in a row, though apparently this one wasn't anywhere outside. She asked one of the Hufflepuffs outside the common room to go in and ask for him, hoping he was in there. As she waited, Iris twirled the yellow rose in her hand, she was already more than halfway done.

Manaia was enjoying the rose deliveries, though he was hoping to get some from people a bit cooler than his auntie. So when he heard there was someone outside looking for him he near-dived out of the common room, beaming as he approached the older girl. "Hey, you're looking for me?" He asked hopefully, wondering who had sent him a rose.

Iris smiled at the boy who came out of the common room. "Yes, if you're Manaia." She said, handing him the rose. "Here you go!"

Manaia grinned when the girl said his name, bouncing slightly. "Sweet as, that's me!" He said in excitement, taking the rose happily. He looked at the note, grin brightening when he saw who it was from. He was glad to have a friend like Eugene, and would have to find the boy to thank him sometime soon. "Cheers!" He added, remembering to be polite as he looked back up at the older girl who had delivered the rose.
