It was the morning before the class of the second semester started. As much as the Slytherin wanted to spend more minutes in bed before heading down to breakfast, Baron got up and walked out of the dungeons and made her way up the stairs to the seventh floor. He wanted to spend his time with Jenna but clearly, he had to deal with this first. He must admit that he was shocked at what he found out but decided to deal with it after Yule Ball. Seeing each other during the holidays as his twin was still in shock from the revelation. Reaching the door to the Gryffindor House, he walked over to the wall across it and stood there, leaning against it. He did not need to ask somebody to call for @Kace Corelli. Trusting himself, he knew his twin, younger, would soon come out. His mind was flowing with questions although most of them were already answered. Questions that Kace had and both of them knew that they could only get the answers from each other. With this, the Slytherin aimed to know his Gryffindor counterpart.

Kace was still tripping over the twin revelation that happened at the Yule Ball. He thought staying at Wendy’s he would be getting away from the madness that propelled into reality that night. Boy, was he wrong. Wendy took it upon herself to invite Kace’s friends and twin brother over for the holidays. He was held up in a mansion with those he wanted to get as far away from as possible. Then, his mood just kind of shift on its own. He couldn’t stay mad at his friends as they had nothing to do with him having a twin brother. And he couldn’t exactly be mad at Baron as he found out the truth of their existence at the same time. Kace was still a little trippy on the count that every time he saw Baron he just felt super weird about it. It’s not every day one comes across another who just so happens to have the same, exact face. Unless magic is involved, it’s not something normal that happens every day. Kace's return to Hogwarts didn’t feel the same from his previous years. He was talking to his friends but not as much as he wanted and he was kind of avoiding Baron. There was just so much he needed to get used to so when he saw his twin waiting out in the corridor, Kace sort of froze in place. His brown eyes moved side to side, he resembled a mime the way he was acting in front of Baron. “Aye, ah, what’s up?”

Baron's eyes were directed to his shoes when Kace came out. His mind was wandering over what to say or how to greet him. He was also curious as to the boy's reaction to his presence outside Gryffindor. Hearing his voice, identical to his own, tugged his heart. He had wished for a brother or even a sister. He never thought he had one, a twin even. He hid this through a smirk as he looked up to meet his gaze. Only Kace looked like about to freak out again. Shaking his head in amusement, he straightened up and smiled at Kace. "Morning." Nodding his head in the direction of the hallways. "Let's take a walk. Shall we?" He stepped closer to his twin, waiting for his reply. The Slytherin really needed to tone down his formal way of speaking.

Kace relaxed his face, lowering his brows and nodded. “Yeah, okay,” Kace stepped over to meet his twin halfway. If he wanted to get to know Baron, he had to stop acting like a literal doppelganger was stalking him to try and kill him. Kace, who’s normally known for bouncing all the time on the heel of kicks, strolled quietly down the corridor next to his brother. It was morning, the corridor was clear of students. He wonders if his friends were downstairs having breakfast at this moment. He could picture Elliot sitting with his boyfriend and Amaya alone with a book. Wendy somewhere with that older Gryffindor that visited them in New York. He is unsure of the status of their relationship. “So, your mom...our mom told you everything? Right?”

Baron was relieved that he did not run this time. He could not hide his amusement anymore. "I thought you're gonna run again.", he lightly joked as his twin fell in step beside her. They were walking aimlessly, enjoying the silence of the castle since most students would arrive later in the day or before dinner for the start of the semester the next day. They ambled at a comfortable pace while he waited for his brother to ask whatever he wanted to know. That was when Kace asked him about their mother. "Well, she did. She told me everything except for one.", he glanced at Kace. "Mom told me to ask you about... him. Our dad.", he finished. Baron already guessed their father was not able to tell Kace anything. His best bet was his twin freaked out and became sulky as what he had witnessed in New York.

Kace shook his head, his arms swinging carelessly front and back. "Nah, I'm getting used to it. I think," Kace acted as if hadn't a care in the world. Aloof, like he would be with the set of friends he hung out with back in New York. Kace listens to his twin, the topic went back to the one he was trying to avoid discussing. Kace sighs, letting his shoulders drop. "Other than him not telling me about you...and mom…he good…" Kace murmurs, the man wasn't off the hook yet. Kace wasn't going to let him get away with this big, enormous lie that easily. "He works for the quidditch league, as an agent for players," Kace explains, hesitant to say too much. Regardless if he was mad at his dad, he still has a lot of respect for the man. But, then again Baron was his son and he deserves to know the truth, like Kace. "Why didn't they say anything? I don't get it…"
