Gabrylle Aurelious had been travelling the world for quite some time, and honestly she was glad to say that she was back in New Zealand. She would have been even happier for her return though if only her travel had given her the results she so desired. But it did not. Three years after graduation, she had been yet to find a career path that she wanted, or even one that she could possibly do, and so, she had decided on a bit of soul-searching. Two years of travelling the whole world and she should have at the very least decided what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. But she still hasn't managed to do so. In all honesty, she envied the rest of her siblings who had been able to decide. Even Fayt had chosen to be a shopkeeper. But her, well, she was still all smiles even though there had been nothing within her but turmoil. After all, that's all everybody knew about her. Smiles.

The nights of New Zealand were quite peaceful and yet not. In fact, she could hardly determine which places were peaceful and which were bustling with activity. Perhaps, the country she was currently in was somewhere in the middle. But then again, this was home. Or this was probably home. She never knew. She could never really decide. And she had deemed them thoughts for another day. The blonde walked peacefully within the sidewalk, watching as muggles went about their mundane tasks and jobs, and she often wondered if she could choose her own path like they did. Shaking her head to rid herself of her wandering thoughts, she grabbed opened her small bag and tried to look for her purse, only to find it missing. She had looked through it twice and still found none and she could only sigh and bite her lip. She could always apparate home, but she still doubted her skills in that field. But she lived on the other side of town and that would be a long walk. And so, she began. It was going to be a long night.

William wasn't entirely sure what he was doing with his life, but he was sure it was better than what the rest of his family was doing. Chad seemed to be drinking his life away, and Will was never sure where he actually got the money from. He thought it was probably from the ladies he wooed, before he dumped them once he had what he wanted. William didn't think Chad had even had a proper relationship, or anything that lasted longer than a week. Even that was quite long for Chad. His sister had recently divulged that they were actually cousins to the murderer, Harley Aria. William couldn't believe it, that he was actually related to someone like that. The idea started to make more sense, when he realized what a tosser his brother was, and Emalia's weird craving for dark arts. He actually hadn't seen his sister in awhile. After she let her brothers know what she did, she went back into whatever world she was hiding in. Will didn't know what she was doing, but he found he probably didn't want to know. He had had it with his so called 'family'. Though, not seeing them made him feel very lonely. He enjoyed training owls, but he was wondering if it was slowly driving him mad; only having animals to talk to.
William thought by now he'd be married. Or at least have a steady girlfriend. He wondered if it was his surname that put girls off. No one wanted to be married to a murderer! But it wasn't him. Will was sure he was doing the right things. He was polite, and chivalrous. He was the complete opposite to his dog brother, but he seemed to be the one having more luck. But William could never bring himself to treat anyone the way his brother treated people. The young man was feeling particularly down this evening, so, rather than apparating home as he usually did; he decided to take a walk.
He was surprised to see another person walking as well. He don't know why it surprised him. William just supposed it would've been a quiet, lonely walk home. He realized that he might seem a bit stalkerish, and he hoped the lady didn't think he was following her. He smiled politely at her, tipping his hat that he loved wearing. He was probably covered in owl poo. He didn't think this through properly.

Gabrylle was quite unsure if she favored the chilling silence of the night or the flamboyant joys of the day. They were both very appealing to her and yet unappealing all the same. In actuality, she had been indecisive about of lot of things and it extended to what she actually liked. Before her travels had begun, she was unsure of herself and the future she so desired. However, during her travels, she had found a lot of things about herself. Or rather, she found out that she knew nothing about herself. She discovered that she didn't really like the things she thought she liked, or that she didn't really mind those things she used to dislike while back in school. It was maddening. She had thought that she knew herself, but apparently, it was her brother that she knew and not herself. She had been too dependent on him back then even if he wouldn't admit to it. So, when he had found his way and she sought to find hers, she realized that she was lost. And that she had to start from scratch. That she knew not where to start except keep the facade of light. A smile that said she was okay.

Now though, in the silence of the night and without the exuberance of the day, she was lost in her thoughts, and perhaps that was not a good thing. She may be a witch and she was capable in her own right, but she cannot use magic carelessly. It was then at that moment that she heard footsteps behind her though she tried to keep her cool. Slowly, she turned her head to look and found a man. A kind looking man, but a man nonetheless. Perhaps it should have scared her, but growing up with a twin brother and travelling the world, such did not really faze her anymore. She smiled politely back at him and she recognized the lingering smell of owls emitting from the man. She looked at him curiously, and in the dark she could barely make out the traces of the owl feathers and she smiled. She envied this man. He seemed contented with his job and she wondered if she would find such a future of contentment for her. "You have a feather on your shoulder. The left one," she said with an amused tone as she continued to walk though fell into his pace. If he was a dangerous man, then keeping with his pace was probably safer than him before in front of her or behind her. Though she doubted that was the case with this man.

William looked at his shoulder, and brushed off the feather quickly. He grinned at the lady that had fallen to his pace. "Thanks for that." He said warmly. "I wouldn't be surprised if there were more around." He said with a smile, giving himself a quick check. "Owl's aren't very interested in keeping clean." He told the lady. She was very pretty, though she seemed a bit younger than him. Will had always thought that age was just a number, he believed that if two people loved each other, then age shouldn't matter. As long as they were in the same stage of life. "My name's William." He said pleasantly, holding his hand out to the lady as they continued to walk. He was glad that she didn't think he was a creepy stalker. Maybe it was the feather and probable dung that made him seem more approachable.
