Being back at school after the holidays was odd to Theodore, but not as odd as it had been back in september. As much as he loved his home and the surrounding forest, he was starting to get used to Hogwarts too. Even if there were way too many people around at all times. It helped that he usually had Edmund at his side. He rarely wandered any of the corridors without his identical twin. Though today was an exception.

The twins had been exploring the castle together, as they tended to do in their free time, before Edmund realized he wanted a book from the library. Theodore hadn't really felt like going there, especially as there were always a lot of students there to study. All he wanted was to go back to the dormitory, as it tended to be empty during the day. It wasn't easy for him to tell his brother to go there without him, but he knew Edmund would be okay. And he would be too, if he just managed to avoid everyone on the way there. He had his arms crossed in front of him defensively as he walked at a brisk pace, his eyes ahead and not meeting anyone's gaze as he walked along.

The holidays had been uneventful to say the least, Athena had gone home only to be spending the majority of her time with her godmother seeing as both her parents had taken double shifts at work these past few days. The Slytherin sighed as she wandered around the castle, wondering what she could do. Antonio was nowhere to be found and neither was Jasmine, despite the girls being in the same dorm, and if she couldn't find her Slytherin mates then she definitely wouldn't fine Grayson anytime soon. Unless they were outside, and Athena wasn't exactly planning to spend her time on the grounds currently.

The first year blonde was exploring the seventh floor corridor, soon getting bored. It was no fun when you were walking around Hogwarts without anyone to talk to. She frowned as she saw a boy in her year, one of the creepy twins she'd unfortunately encountered before the year started. Athena was in no mood for a fight, but despite that, she groaned. "You have got to be kidding me," she said loudly, unaware of anyone who was around and if they looked at her weird, she wouldn't notice. Her annoyance was growing by the second, and she hadn't even said anything to the twin. Thankfully, it was just one of them and that meant half of the problem. Hopefully though if he glanced at her he knew better than to start a fight.

Theodore planned to keep his head down and his pace up until he reached the Ravenclaw tower, but he couldn't help but glance around a few times. There were so many students at this school, and every time he went anywhere he swore he saw new and unfamiliar faces. Why was it so big, anyway? Weren't there better schools? But then he caught sight of someone who was familiar, and he frowned. That was one of the girls that had approached him and his brother before school started, and he remembered her as being rude and annoying. Seeing her here made him frown, but he was ready to keep walking before she opened her mouth. Obviously, she was talking about him. He wished Edmund was here, as he felt stronger with his twin by his side. Still, even on his own he couldn't stop himself from commenting. "You know, talking to yourself is the first sign of madness." He told her calmly as he came to a stop.
