After returning to Hogwarts, Knox couldn’t wait to become involved with as many things as possible, and a school wide event such as rose deliveries was the perfect chance for him to do so. Thus as soon as the day began and Knox had received his bucket of roses to deliver, he got right to work to find each person on his list. His first person was someone named Emilia, and at a loss of where else to look for her, Knox began his search in the entrance hall. “Emilia Manning!!” He called out loud, repeating himself a few times as he waved the yellow rose for her in the air, hoping to catch her attention as she was nearby.​

Emilia hadn't expected to get any roses, but the four she had gotten ahd cheered her up quite a bit. The mysterious one in pink gave her a bit of hope, knowing there was someone out there who still thought her worthy of a rose in that color. Emilia was on her way to the Great Hall when she heard someone else call her name. She stopped, looking over at the boy. "That's me..."

When an older blonde girl confirmed she was Emilia Manning, Knox ran up to her excitedly, pleased he could make his first delivery. He held the rose out to her, and found the note in the bucket, also handing it over. “Happy Valentine’s day Emilia!” He exclaimed hoping this rose would make her day brighter.​

The boy's enthusiasm was endearing, and Emilia gave him a smile as he handed her the rose. She was relieved it was yellow, even if there was a part of her that was disappointed too. It was just confusing to get anonymous pink roses, and Emilia wasn't sure if she could handle another one. The note made her smile, Acacia was a good friend. "Thank you." She told the boy as she folded the note again.
